Both the drive-up window and instore pickup lines are long and slow. They are understaffed but even if they had enough staff there is nowhere to put them. The physical pharmacy space itself is tiny. The retail store is large; one would think that the pharmacy would deserve larger and more efficient space. The instore waiting area is not well lit. The worst thing, though, a pharmacist there told me that Eliquis and clopidogrel (Plavix) are the same thing. They are completely different drugs and act in different ways. Be careful of any advice you get from a pharmacist there.

Then you come to the store carrying tons of wet snow. The floors are terribly slippery. Most of the senior citizens are there, dragging their feet through the isles holding by he shelves because they are afraid to fall. What will the Walgreens do if somebody falls and sues them? There is never a person in the vicinity to ask this question.

We had a unique prescription to be filled for some medical equipment and our doctor sent the script to Marra's to be filled. I reached out to them to get set up and they not only had a wide variety of options for the equipment we needed but spoke, extensively, on each of the choices so that Mr and my wife could make a fully informed decision. Not only were they informative but they were exceptionally kind, thoughtful and funny. When I went in to pick up the equipment I was blown away by the selection and the breadth of their pharmacy. It is really impressive. Never figured I'd leave a review for a pharmacy, but here I am. 10/10, they're fabulous.

Had to get a prescription written twice by my doctor and sent in again. Next time - I will stick to Walmart. On 11/4, I called the pharmacy four times and each time a rep answered and hung up the phone. I…read moreeven called the regular store phone and when they transferred me to the pharmacy, whoever was on the phones picked up, said nothing, and hung up - as if to avoid speaking to customers. I figured I'd just refill my prescription using the automated phone line. Did that and it said my prescription would be filled by 3:45 same day. Before leaving the house, I called again to make sure it was ready before making the trip there, as I live 30 minutes away, but again, hung up on. I got to the pharmacy at 4:30 and the attendant let me know, in a very short manner, "We don't have anything here for you." I let them know the automated system said it would be ready for pick up by 3:45, to which they responded "well we need an order from the doctor." Shame on the automated system for its error in ETA and shame on the employees at the pharmacy for not answering not one of my six calls. This trip could have been prevented and I could have reached out to my doctor before their offices closed had I known. I'm going out of state tomorrow morning before the pharmacy opens and now I'll have to wait a week to pick up. Someone's needs to be educated on how to do their job, especially when they're dealing with people's medications.
