Hey, I get it, people are impatient they have things to do. But so do all the other people waiting, helping or servicing. I just want to shout out Lenon the pharmacist who always checks to see how I'm doing, several of the techs who when they see me immediately know if I'm picking up for my kids or myself, and always are friendly, and the sales people who today kindly commented on my outfit. A second of kindness is all it takes. What do you get out of making someone else angry and miserable? And for the dude who was rude to the tech, what he didn't know or ASK, was that the neighborhood lost its power in the late afternoon until close to midnight. The pharmacy team had to do a massive catch up of orders and existing meds. Give each other grace, it's the least you'd want for yourself. Also, I seriously always appreciate this rite aid for always having our RX stocked and always serving with a friendly demeanor. I know retail pharmacy isn't easy, keep up the great work, y'all.

I know, this doesn't sound like any Rite Aid you've ever been to. I have been so surprised by the consistent friendly service and cleanliness of the store. The Pharmacy has been very easy to work with. I had been going to small local pharmacies just to avoid dealing with a Wallgreens, Rite aid or grocery store pharmacy's . This Rite Aid is truly different. Of course they have to follow the same rules as all pharmacy's, but they always talk to me with respect and seem patient and willing to help. Highly recommended overall.

They bring it out to your car making it incredibly convenient and one of my favorite reasons to buy online. Right now it's spring and I'm in the mood to plant some annuals for immediate pops of color. Their prim roses go for $1,99 at Walmart while Freddie's sells for $3,99. Upon my arrival they informed me that they had both but one would not be ready until Monday. I picked up the one and drove home. Halfway home I got a notice that the 2nd perscription was ready. It was 6:20pm. I should have just been told to wait for the 2nd perscription. Crazy. Then I wondered why did they say it would not be ready until Monday? I looked up their pharmacy hours and discovered they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. This is so odd as I chose Walgreens for the convenience of picking up prescriptions when I'm not working long weekdays. I wonder what folks are supposed to do when they need a prescription on a weekend?

I came here for both doses of the Pfizer vaccine and genuinely had a great experience both times. I now realize that they brought in a team who was handling the vaccines. But, I received a booster email from Rite Aide months ago asking if I wanted to set up an appointment for my booster and the date I could schedule for was today. Yes please! I set the appointment for 745pm. A week later I had an event scheduling for the same day for 730pm. I called after being unable to change my appointment time online. The person who answered said that I just need any appointment that day and can come at any time. Here I am but, unlike last time I see no greeter and assume I just go to the pharmacy. I received text and email appointment reminders yesterday and today all saying I have an appointment today. A woman in front of me was asking about the booster and was instructed to make an appointment online. So I approach saying I had an appointment at 745 (it was 7pm) but I called and was told that I could come early. She asked me my name and date of birth. Then she started being really snotty saying I don't have an appointment and I need an appointment number. I told her that none of the reminders had a number just instructions for what to bring. She asked to see it and I showed her the email which says APPOINTMENT REMINDER - then she actually says that it is NOT an appointment reminder because a real one would have a confirmation number.... ummm what??? Like she legitimately was acting like I was faking having an appointment. I kept saying I don't know what you want from me. Then she starts saying she can do it but there are two people in front of me... ok....I genuinely didn't expect you to just vax me this second. I keep saying I don't understand what she's arguing with me about or what she wants. I fill out the form and give her my cards... It took an hour and I missed the other event but it is well worth it to be booster vaxed. I am just still beyond confused as to why she needed to act dismissive and crazy to me when genuinely I had an appointment and a pile of reminders.

Fortunately CVS is really good with prescription and giving immunization shots. The downside to this CVS is that they are completely incompetent as a store. (I rechecked because sometimes the online system doesn't work.) The prescription was for a medication I take weekly, and I couldn't request a refill until one week before. However, when I went in to the store, already out of the medication, they told me they no longer handle this medication. Why couldn't they mention this sooner? Why didn't the online refill system flag it? But it gets worse. I went to another pharmacy to transfer the prescription and created an account there. Now several days later the new pharmacy says they're still waiting to hear from Rite-Aid for the prescription info. Apparently, no one at Rite-Aid is interested enough to pay attention to patient needs. I had already noticed they were getting slower at refilling orders and checking messages, but now I'm going to miss my medication because of their laziness. I am now in the process of switching all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I can no longer trust Rite-Aid to have any interest in my health or the thousands of dollars my insurance and I have paid them.
