I am so angry and upset I felt compelled to share my story. Today I had the most horrible customer service experience at CVS in Stony Point. I went to make a return of 3 boxes of Christmas Lights and a Box of Hallmark Christmas Cards. All unopened and all on the same receipt of self checkout. For some crazy reason, the box of Christmas Cards on the receipt did not scan correctly when I made the purchase. Unbeknownst to me until I went to make the return, not only was I charged $20.49 for Christmas cards that were $17.49, they outright refused to make the return. When I asked to have them check the Christmas cards, they said they couldn't compare them as they are all sold out, even though it says clearly on the receipt what item I purchased. I spent over an hour of my time waiting on two managers, PABLO and THOMAS who treated me with utter disrespect and blank stares, each saying there was nothing they could do. How can that be an answer? They are both completely clueless and looked as if they rolled out of bed. What ever happened for dressing for the job? I've worked in retail, there has to be an over ride or I should have at least been offered a store credit. As a resident of Stony Point for over 30 years, I have been a loyal customer of CVS and I am being penalized for using self checkout. This because they don't have enough people employed to cover the registers, especially at Christmastime. I tried calling CVS main customer service, but of course they are experiencing an overload of calls. Gee I wonder why? I am calling again tomorrow and I'll keep you up dated. So many issues with this place. Management must be TERRIBLE. The pharmacy is extremely slow with their customer service and the staff always seem unhappy. I think corporate needs to be notified. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Walgreens. Or ANY other CVS location. read more

This location is understaffed and always has new help. Service is very slow at the pharmacy. The floors are filthy and unvaccumed. The pick up window looks like a filthy salad bar sneeze screen. Shelves have less merchandise than the unpacked totes. I switched to Walgreens. read more

The CVS in stony point gets zero stars from me, I am An extremely good customer of this store ( even tho it is not clean and they are always out of items I need , not necessarily in the pharmacy department ) I purchased two COVID's tests yesterday which weren't cheap I might add - they cost me fifty dollars, and didn't realize they were antigen testing Covid tests- so I brought them back to EXCHANGE them for the correct ones ( I didn't even want my money back just an exchange ) and was told they can't be returned or exchanged by the NEW rude store manager !!! Ok so I understand there are items that can't be returned or exchanged but shouldn't I be informed of that before I purchase ??? Nowhere in the store is there any sign or near the display where I got them that you can't return or exchange!!!! I am not a psychic and can't read minds!!! The manager who is new was a real piece of work , there was also an old man there who was trying to return three Covid tests he bought and was told the same, he probably lives on a fixed income !!! shame on you cvs for not giving people the choice to buy or not by having a sign up to let you know you can't return or exchange !! Also get a manager that has a better personality to handle complaints... this long time CVS customer is going to Walgreens across the street from now on!! Pharmacy is terrible. Takes forever to fill a prescription.. i call it in to save time because going there will be pointless.. when i arrive about 2-3 hours later, it still isn't ready. EVERY TIME. Last time i went to pick up my daughters prescription (days after doctor sent it through), the pharmacist asks me if i have a baby.. (bizarre) I say yes, and she procedes to give me three OTHER prescriptions for me, but never the ones for my daughter. I guess it was my fault for not checking before i drove away, but getting home to see i have to go back again is a bit aggravating. It wouldnt of been so bad if things like this never happened.. but this is unfortunately an every-time occurance. read more

Terrible customer service. I received numerous texts at all hours telling me my prescription was ready. I arrive the next day, I wait on line for 15 minutes. The pharmacist asked twice for those milling about to help at the register. The 5 employees continued chatting, laughing and looking at the line, never opening another register. Once I finally get to the register, I was told I need to go to the drop off line, there was a problem. I now wait another 10 minutes to get told, go shop for 20 minutes, we will fill it now. When I complained, I was told, well you can wait the usual hour. I'm trying to rush this for you. I explained I was texted that it was ready, I got a shoulder shrug. Half hour later, I come back, still not ready. Nobody knew they were supposed to be 'rushing the order'. When I complained I was met by a snide young woman who's only advice was for me to put on a mask. Meanwhile, the front cashier and half the other customers were not wearing masks. I was told I would not be waited on until I put on my mask. Mind you, the website states if you are unvaccinated, you need to be masked. All total, I waited an hour for a prescription I was told was ready. I will be switching pharmacies after being a CVS customer for 25 years. Carol G. read more

I just saw other negative reviews and feel compelled to write that i have never had anything but the most POSITIVE experiences at this pharmacy. The pharmacists and other staff are always so helpful and patient in answering any questions that i have. Sure, there can sometimes be a small wait, but this is a busy store. I will never use another pharmacy!!! read more

I went to this CVS 4 times to pick up my prescription, 3 out of the 4 times they said my prescription was not ready. The 4th time they said they never received my prescription. I also called the urgent care and they confirmed with me twice that they had sent it over. read more

I have never gone to a more unprofessional pharmacy in my life. I will be changing to a mom and pop. It's disgusting to see supposed "professionals" gossiping about patients rather to pass their time than aiding assistance. WHO HIRED these horrible people. I over hear them talking poorly about their patients calling them idiots especially to elderly patients and they never help activate co pay cards. They think they're better than their clients who are seeking their help. It's so sad to see a pharmacy that's hired to help their patients be against them, speak ill of them, and offer no guidance. If I wasn't aware of a co pay card I would never get my medication. They refuse to activate it even when I walk them through. I'm disgusted with this pharmacy they make me sick. I hope they get new staff or they will fail, employees who speak ill of patients while other patient can hear is disgusting. I refuse to use this pharmacy ever again. It makes me sick. read more

OMG worst business I have ever been too. Rude staff, hostile pharmacist. Meds are never ready on time and they send people home with the wrong items and when returned are greeted with a shit attitude. They blamed my insurance company for a failed script filling and it turns out they don't know how to use their own system and my insurance company had to school them on it. She originally told me my scipt would be ready "shortly". Two days now and two trips AND ITS STILL NOT READY?!?! Whatever you do, do not patronize these incompetent and rude animals. read more

This pharmacy is the worst. Half the time I run out of my medication and they don't have it ready. The drive thru is horrible. You'll sit there 30 minutes with only 2 cars in front. Once you pull up, you wait another 5 minutes to get any kind of recognition from these smug employees. Not worth it. Walgreens here I come read more

Personnel should be trained on customer service and hygiene. Took almost an hour for somebody to try and help. She didn't know how to handle what I needed and kept apologizing. Not only did it take forever to find out I couldn't get the help I needed but this employee was less than presentable. Her uniform was filthy and her hygiene was very unpleasant. Told the last minute medication we get every month is out of stock and expect us to travel to another cvs. They have 3 cash registers but no matter how long the line is only one register is open . Forget about getting them on the phone. When you are told to wait for your medication and you ask how long, you get a shrug of the shoulders. Walgreens here I come. read more

My cousin was told her prescription would be $450 copay. She called her doctor to tell them she couldn't afford that as she takes a host of other drugs. Her doctor told her that they have the drug coded incorrectly and if they change it - should be only $40. My cousin called the pharmacy and was scolded by someone in the pharmacy who was rude and obnoxious that she wasn't changing the code and that's what she has to pay. ($450) We then went to the CVS in Garnerville and they were more than happy to take care of her and the cost was actually $30 for 3 months (not $450 for 1 months) It is so sad that the elderly are treated this way and in some cases don't like to question people and pay the full amount. read more

This place is extremely awful. I'd give it less than 1 star if it were possible. The staff is never nice always rude. I always have issues with prescriptions / seeing other people experiencing the same. They are always some how understaffed and make people wait a ridiculous amount of time. They have at one point lost my prescriptions in their system and made me go to my doctor to get a refill when I wasn't nearly due since that prescription is yearly and my doctor laughed at how pitiful their system was and had to call them. All in all try not to go to this cvs if possible it's the absolute worst location I've ever been to. read more

By far the worst pharmacy experience. My girlfriend and I went to get medicine for her after delivering our first baby to pick up over the counter medicine, and to be safe we wanted to make sure that we were getting the correct medicine. The pharmacist there that night didn't want to be bothered with helping us. Giving her the benefit of the doubt I had refrained by posting a review on yelp thinking she was just having a bad day. After going back today in need of over the counter medicine again (for our baby this time) I had to ask the pharmacist more than once to please help me find a medicine. After today's experience of the pharmacist not wanting to be in the least bit helpful, and a past experience being negative, I feel that I have to show my frustration. I've been to other CVS pharmacies with zero problem, however, this one is nothing but a problem. Walgreens is right across the street. I suggest going there from now on. read more
