I waited several days before writing this, because, had I started immediately after the last time I dealt with them, it would have been a "tapestry of obscenity" still hanging in space over the Hudson. For two years, I have more or less been forced to use CVS for any prescriptions that weren't mail order. I have a lot of health stuff, so this ends up being a lot of prescriptions. And unequivocally, I hate CVS. My gripes have been consistent and constant. Things I need are not in stock, though they're common and I get them every month. CVS doesn't have the strength/size/quantity I need, so they substitute and don't tell me (though they do have to speak with prescriber). I have multiple things to pick up, but when I go to the drive through and *ask* whether there are more, it's "No, that's it," when of course there's another one in a basket somewhere. They keep refilling an expensive med that I don't use any more, even when I've archived it and refused to accept it every time, so Spouse comes home with it, every time. (He forgets. That's why we pay professionals.) There were even times, when using their specialty pharmacy, I'd have it delivered to the store if I had to be gone for the day or it was really hot--all they have to do is unpack the huge outside box and put the much smaller pack in their large commercial refrigerator. Multiple times, as soon as it arrived, they would call me immediately and say, "You need to come pick this us now because we don't have room for it." That was untrue. They were just stupid. "I have it sent to you because I CAN'T GET IT RIGHT NOW." Last week was my limit. Despite having spoken with them before, a prescription that said clearly "30 days" was only filled with enough for 15 days, and they didn't explain to me why until I was crying and yelling on the phone. The woman I spoke with made it seem like it was my fault. Another prescription I needed was unavailable for refill on the website, just a note to "call the pharmacy". Why? No idea. "You just have to call us." I DON'T WANT TO CALL YOU! BECAUSE YOU MAKE ME CRY AND SCREAM! After that call, I moved everything to the mail order pharmacy, even though it's a megacorp and I don't like how they do business. I even contacted all my doctors and asked them to write new scripts. I archived every prescription and will refuse every call and SMS from them. I'm so angry now, my stomach is in a knot and, were someone from CVS here, I would want to smack them. I hate CVS. My review is not for the pharmacy but the store. I am in the area where this particular store is located at least once a month and I always stop in right off the Palisades to grab grub. I have found that ALL CVS stores are NOT the same when it comes to sales, BOGO, 1/2 prices and such. But for this store they always seems to have specials on those tins of almonds and chips that I cannot find at even my local CVS, so ya know,I buy bulk when I can LOL. The counter staff has always been super nice and the chances of me receiving that mile long receipt we have all known to be awarded after a 2 item shopping spree, is 100% guaranteed!. read more

I have used this pharmacy out of pure convince but I am finally fed up and will drive the extra mile to another pharmacy. The staff is lazy, if your script or not in the bin they tell you it's not ready or the doctor didn't send it over. They don't even check their computer. Today I pulled in line for the drive through, A young female worker comes out and puts a cone in-front of my blocking the drive through( I was next in line) she didn't have the decency to block it off after me since I was already in line she knew she was wrong because she didn't even look at me. I rolled down my window to ask her what's going on she says the pharmacy closes at 1:30. It was 1:20. Rude and unprofessional. read more

This is the worst CVS I've ever been to! The pharmacy is a complete joke... they send you a text message telling you the prescription is ready but it never is. I showed up at the drive thru and was told to circle around and come back later. Whatever time they tell you a prescription is ready- you can show up at that time or even a little later- and it's still not ready! All you get is a confused and blank stare from an employee followed by a "wait 5-15 more minutes" statement. No other CVS does this. I would avoid this CVS at all costs. read more

One of your pharmacy staff members is rude. I called from a provider office for assistance on 11/14/22 around 8:20 am and it seems like the staff member woke up on the wrong side of the bed. It is very unprofessional and should be fixed. read more

This should be 0 Starts....Horrible location! Customer Service is non-existent. I had to ask 3 different people for the location of a product I have purchased there before but had been moved. First inquiry was made at the Pharmacy counter and I was sent to the wrong aisle. Waited on the Pharmacy line (again) to ask someone else and was told that they do not carry what I was looking for - and when I explained that I had purchased it there before I was told to go to the front to ask since they stock the shelves. So Frustrating. I went to the front to ask -and of course there was no one around. Some young man in a pink sweatshirt - no CVS shirt or even name tag - who had been standing in the middle of an aisle on his cell phone asked if I needed help. I was not sure he even worked there. I told him what I was looking for and HE asked ME what aisle that was in... Clearly frustrated, I thanked him for not helping and proceeded to leave the store. He called after me "It's Mother's day - don't be so upset!" I told him he needed to be more competent and left. This is not the first time I have received lousy service in this store. In the past I've even witnessed a cashier literally screaming at her manager (who was busy helping a customer ) that her shift was over and she needed to leave! Very poorly run location, it's usually a mess - and the shelves get emptier and emptier each time I visit. Never again. read more

I honestly feel this should be rated 0 stars. However in order to review I had to pick at least one star. This pharmacy is a nightmare. Nightmare. I could ask to have a prescription refilled. Go to the CVS 5 days later, to be told it wasnt filled. Today I went to get three of 4 prescriptions. Two were called in today. I was told they weren't ready. According to Cvs.com they were ready. Everytime I go here. Always and I mean always a problem. Effective immediately. I will be changing pharmacies. read more

My wife was in dire need of a Rx. They didn't have, I asked the useless dickhead behind the counter to call the CVS in Stony Point..... He told me he didn't know the number. Several times before this incident, we were given the wrong Rx. I was in doubt, so I googled the Rx. It could have been a very serious situation. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PLACE. SMH read more

I went into the store to buy an item, realized i bought the wrong thing and when I returned 7 minutes later I was asking around how to return said item but the workers chose to ignore me and pushed me towards the self check out without any assistance. read more

I've been going to CVS for as long as I can remember. I even worked at a CVS. That being said. I cannot begin to express how disappointed I am with the CVS in Garnerville. They give the company a bad name. Fire all the staff and restart. There's one pharmacist who is probably the most miserable person on the planet and is extremely nasty to not only customers but also to his own staff. Horrible horrible horrible!!! read more

Everytime i call or go to pick up a refill there's always problems. They talk over you on the phone, say your insurance doesn't cover something when you were on the same medication for years. The only person that has been helpful there has been Katy. Every time there is a problem she fixes it and lessens the stress. I decided to switch pharmacies for a certain medication that they said my insurance wouldn't cover and they told my doctor that I refused services and no longer use cvs pharmacy. Absolutely horrible customer service. Long waits and rude pharmacists. My mom needed emergency antibiotics on a Sunday and was visibly in pain and in need of care. The man that worked there was rude from the start and treated us as an inconvenience. He was short and snippy with us every time we spoke. He told us that cvs would not take her insurance even though we were confident he was wrong. (Monday morning we called our insurance to make sure...and we were right) If you are in a pinch like we were and your normal pharmacy is not open, do yourself a favor and avoid this one. This has to be the worse CVS ever. There is always a long line to get your prescriptions inside the store and the drive through is often closed. What's the point of a convenient drive through if it's always closed? They obviously need more staff to meet the demands of the community. Doctors call in prescriptions at 10 am and at 5 pm they are still not ready. This is unacceptable for a pharmacy that caters to sick customers. This must change for the better! read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. The only reason I gave this 2 stars instead of 1, is because one staff member, Mary, is super friendly always helpful and always accommodating. She remembers customers not just by sight but by name. Every time I have a prescription here, including automatic refills, there is always a problem -- they are always out of something, my prescription is always on hold, there's an "insurance issue" (which only Mary seems to know how to solve). And the reasons vary every time. Never ever just a smooth transaction. I always have to wait or go back even when I get text notifications that my scripts are ready. On one occasion I was told that their location was out of a certain drug, and that *I* had to call around to different pharmacies to see who had it-isn't that their job? I don't know the inventories of the other local CVSs. That should be on them. I was also told I would receive three months of my birth control at a time, that has yet to happen. Each time I go I'm lucky to get the one-month supply that I receive. Like i said- not one smooth transaction here. Will be switching pharmacies after this latest disaster. Update : I'm taking a star away. Once again I'm here waiting for a script that had two more days before they restock it. There are no saving graces for this sad excuse for a pharmacy. Has to be the worst CVS or pharmacy ever!! Where do I start? 1. Lost prescriptions, 2. never fill prescriptions on time when they say they will be done(days after they promised) 3. Not the friendliest or helpful pharmacy department. 4. When ordering important health related items, they forget to order or just plain never order!!!! 5. Was present when the pharmacist (older man gray/white hair Caucasian man) YELLING at a elderly customer because they did not understand why their scripts were not ready, he should be fired!
