Well I'm glad I'm not the only person whom thinks the pharmacy staff has a shitty attitude. I have been coming to this pharmacy for a very long time now. I have been very patient and try to be very understanding we are not perfect we're only humans we will make mistakes here and there I'll give it to you but come on there has to be a point where it has to stop. I dropped off my prescription yesterday they mentioned my insurance did not cover it and it would be over $300 they said they didn't have it in stock that it needed to be ordered. I asked her if another store would have it in stock she said the CVS in Seal Beach had it in stock I left the store before driving I called to make sure they had it and nope they didn't have it in stock so I went back into the store and told the young lady to go ahead and order it there must have been a glitch in the system she looked at me and said are you sure you will have the money to pay for it???? I looked at her in disbelief I couldn't believe she had the nerve to even ask me that of course I have the money to pay for it I wouldn't be asking you to order it if I didn't have the money. I then called today in the afternoon to check status on my prescription turns out the B***H never placed my GOD medication !!!!!! Then the guy tries to cover up for her telling me if I didn't like it I should change pharmacies I told him that's not the point you guys are very unprofessional you should need to worry how I am going to pay my Goddamn medication just F****en do your job read more

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. The pharmacists are so rude. I spent 3 hours on the phone trying to get a prescription that my health insurance said was covered filled because they said it wasn't covered. I also had a manufacturer coupon that they said didn't work, but I called the company and gave them all my details and they said yes it should definitely work, the pharmacy isn't filling it out right. So then I go back in and the new pharmacist is mocking me in front of me while she's on the phone with the insurance company because they told me to have the pharmacy call them and the insurance company is saying no the doctor has to call them. And then as I walk away I can feel her mocking me. Seriously I've never been so dissatisfied with a CVS in my life. As soon as I can I'm getting my prescription transferred to a different pharmacy and never going to CVS again. read more

I got annoyed with the cashier today. Instead of asking me for my CVS card so I can get points she scanned a store one. The reason I went there was to get the credit! I won't go to that CVS again. Good thing it's not my local one. read more

The tecs let me stand there without a hello or may I help you.. Then they took my prescription and said we don't have this.. They handed back my paper and just walked away.. No help to find a pharmacy in the area that could fill it nothing. I handed the scripted back and said can't you order or something.. They wanted nothing to do with me.. ever since cvs merged with that other company, they are having trouble getting drugs. is it because they are having cash flow problems and/or distribution problems, i don't know. however, the service stinks now.....i've been going there for 15 years and now they are out every vital drug. if you value your life, in my opinion, find another pharmacy......because it looks as if i may have to....like maybe the rite aide on valley view. read more

I try to avoid this CVS location at all times only because this store has bad customer service. The last time I was here was to return a beauty product. Before coming into the store, I made sure that I did my research about their return policy. After reading on their website that they have a "No questions asked, 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" return policy, I went into the store for a refund. The middle-aged man at the register seemed fine with the return and was willing to help me out with it. However, when it came to getting a refund authorization, the manager (a young looking guy) was giving me the hardest time. The item was un-opened and had it's original receipt. Why was it so hard to authorize a return? Also, since I had purchased the product with a extra bucks coupon, the manager told me to give the coupon back to him. Seriously? Go ahead and take back the $3 extra bucks back you cheap store! The only reason why I sometimes go to this CVS is because it's close to my house. I would rather put in a lil more effort to drive farther to experience better service. read more

To all shoppers going to CVS Stanton. 12444 Beach Blvd, Stanton, CA. Late evening shopping was great with very few customer in the store. After completing a small shopping list of things needed. I approach the manager Anthony Smith who indicates he's the night manager. Once all items are paid for I Dan Jones receive my receipt and my goods and proceed to leave CVS Parmacy, Stanton, CA. I notice before leaving the store that the manager Anthony Smith didn't count the change back to me after giving Anthony Smith a $100.00 dollar bill. Before I leave the store i bring out the receipt to verify the change and the change counted was $59.00 and some change. Total purchases equaling $20.28 - from one hundred equals $79.72 NOT $59.72 received from Anthony Smith the manager of Stanton, CA CVS Parmacy. The confrontation. After discovering that the manager Anthony Smith had shorted me $20.00 USD via change back the the shopper. Dan Jones Indicated YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME THE RIGHT CHANGE. IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY !!! IT"S ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL THAT THE MANAGER Anthony Smith basically telling me to go _ _ _ _ your self TO THE CONSUMER. This place has the worst customer service! I've had better experiences! I think one of the lady (older in her 50s perhaps) is racist. A few times I've walked in to shop around, I've noticed that she wouldn't greet me but would to every other customers that comes in. Mostly Caucasians. I'm Vietnamese. She would ask them politely if they had found whatever they needed and asked them if they had their extra care cards and when they're leaving. she would say "have a nice day!" or "have a wonderful holiday!" or "Merry Christmas to you!" but when it came to me.... "may i see your extracare card" and just stares at me. She would have this nasty expression while scanning my items. I had a few coupons also and she was being nasty about my coupons. Come on! I only had 3 coupns out of all the items I've purchased. At least I wasn't extreme couponing! And when I had paid and was ready to grab my things to leave. She doesn't say "have a nice day" or anything. Just greets the next person in line. After today (3rd time) I don't think Ill be coming back. It's so much closer to my home but I would rather go a few miles down somewhere else to have a better experience. read more

I have been shopping with C.V.S. for a number of years. The company I work for contracts with this company. Several years ago I was put on a medication called Entrestro. Great medicaton and also expensive. The first time my portion for this medication was $340.00. I did not want to take this medication. Being on the Heart Transplant list I have no options. When your cardiologist tells you that you have to take this medication you simply have to do what you are told. A friend of mine told me about coupons for medications. I got in touch with the manufacturer of this medication and I was given a card $10.00 copay per prescription. It was wonderful. I went into the pharmacy one day in need of my medication and the gentleman behind the counter told me. I had to pay $70.00 copay. I let him know he was wrong and showed him my card, mind you all information is in their computer. I had been paying 70.00 - 140.00 since. All last year my meds were free because I met my deductible. I went in recently and they were saying my copay was now over $400.00. I went into the pharmacy after the pharmacist took some time looking into the computer she found that my copay was actually $10.00. I then asked for my refund. There is nothing that can be done at store level. I called corporate to find that they not only can't but will not give me a refund. They will only go back 90 days. A lot of good that does me. What an awsome way to run a business. I ony wonder who gets to pocket my money read more

Love Chris and Jamie the cashiers. They are funny and helpful. Not so much for Theresa. She made me loose $70 in coins. It's a long story. She seems like she doesn't want to be there. Very upset with her bad attitude today. read more
