Worst Pharmacy dept ever experienced in my life. Customer Service is nonexistent. Staff are rude and down talk to customers. Horrible.

Nonexistent phone service. Incredibly long wait times and rudeness when they do answer.

I was here about two hours ago, and had a very rude cashier named "Uriel".. He was hispanic (like myself, not being racist) and said so many inappropriate comments I left my items on the counter because another employee saw me holding my two beer cases and no carts were available, so she said it was okay to leave them there while I continued to shop. I went back to pay, and my things were gone.. Asked the young man if he moved them and he responded "you cant leave your shit here" i was pissed off at the way he spoke to me and said "you should have some more respect, especially for women. I need to speak to your manager" and he replied by saying "f***ing b***h you cant say shit about me and hes not here" I was so mad, walked out and called to make a report. No one should speak to anyone like that. He said so many other rude things.. CVS needs to fire him. And I will do everything to make sure he gets fired by the end of the week. read more

Every time I go there, they keep talking and joking with each other. But when they have to call the doctor's office, they blame they can't reach the doctor's office and force us to call the doctor's office instead, otherwise we wouldn't get medications on time. If it isn't a threat, I wonder what it's called. read more

If I could give zero stars that is what I would choose. Yesterday I tried to work at the photo kiosks. I asked the cashiers if everything was working and they said yes. After about 45 minutes, it was clear that the printer was not working. That was not the problem really , it was the fact that these kids were so clueless, told me that the "other" printer was fine so everything should be working. When I got up to leave, I saw behind me that there were out of order signs printed up and sitting on the printer! I asked them why they were there and they hadn't told me about them before. Blank stares. I tried to complain on the CVS app, that is how angry I was at the service I received. I went to the Walgreens down the street , and they are getting a glowing review. The employees there not only need training on the photo kiosk but also in customer service. I don't appreciate my time being wasted! read more

The manager here is a jerk. I came in a few minutes before close. he was standing by the door and didn't want to let us in. It was 9:57, I am not a jerk so I told him we would be super fast we needed 1 thing. He scowled and said we had 2 minutes. He is not good at the maths. He even went so far as to do an PA announcement that the store was closing to get out items and check out. Any way we ran in grabbed our 1 item and checked out in les than the three minutes, he was a jerk when we were leaving I totally get he doesn't want to pay OT, they want to go home, yes all of those things, but let him know I would be super fast and I was. He was rude and I really felt bad for the young girl at the register, she was super sweet and she looked uncomfortable working for such an abrasive human being. read more

I had an appointment at 12pm for COVID-19 vaccination. When I got there they said all of their pharmacist were out for lunch??? Then they said come back after a hour. When I got back there was still no one there. Stay away from this CVS guys. read more

Last month there was a sale on honest tea. I absolutely LOVE honest tea and stock up whenever it's under $1.00. So when they were on sale for 84 cents I had to get at least 20! They had a very small amount at this store so I only ended up getting 15. The problem was after I bought them and went to drink one I saw the expiration date had already passed and was from 3 weeks BEFORE I had actually bought them!!!! All but 2 were already expired. Needless to say I was pissed! Will defiantly be going back again! read more

2 days ago around lunch time. Slowest service I've ever experienced. Went here with my Mother to get her medicine. One person being checked out at the counter. Nobody but us in line. 3 people working and we waited and waited and waited Close to 15 minutes..... I fit felt as though we were invisible. We finally left without speaking to anyone. My pharmacy was across the street from cvs. My pharmacy who i was with for at least 15 years closed and transferred all their patients to cvs. Last month i took my prescription into them it was my 1st month there. They wanted ID. Since i dont drive i didnt realize that it had expired. The pharmacist and another guy working the register were pretty cold, no compassion whatsoever. The pharmacist said she would fill my script 1 time but the next month id better have a new ID. She also said the temporary the DMV would give me will be fine. I went in today temporary in hand. They said i was too early to fill my script and to come back in 2 days. Not true. I called my insurance co. Because i have never had that happen. My insurance co. Told me i was fine and the script would go thru. The pharmacist was extremly rude. The asian lady at drop off was incredibly rude as well. It was almost as tho they enjoyed being a-holes. They said they would fill everything but my pain meds. I have never had this problem before. Ive been on this medication for 15 years. So i told them that they were unnecessairly rude to me and that i would never come back to that pharmacy again. The asian woman grinned at that, and the male pharmacist shrugged his shoulders like he could care less. I tried going to the cvs at the target store near my house on harbor. They said they would not accept my identification. Right on that same lot is a small walgreens. I walked over there totally frustrated and the pharmacist was very nice. He took my temporary ID ans said it would be 20 mins. Ok so what is wrong with cvs?? Why did they lie about it being too soon to fill? And lie to me about the identification?? As far as im concerned there r some serious dysfunctional people working for cvs that enjoy not filling your medicne. Very, very strange.. read more

Why is it when I enter any CVS I find things on the floor blocking aisles and no one to help and finally when someone does come up it seems like you are not welcome in the stores because they have more important things to do. I will go to Rite-aid for here on out at least they have the help and respect you. read more

Twice I've tried to fill my medications at this pharmacy's and twice the employees said I didn't have benefits. The first time they did it, I went to Ralphs in Seal Beach, which is about four miles from my home, and they were able to get me my medicines with no problem at all. Tonight, i thought I give it another try with no luck. I tried to tell the employee my experience at Ralphs, but she didn't care to listen. They must have more costumers than they need. Wow ! Needless to say absolutely horrible service. I should say lack of!!!!!! I suggest that everybody tries to avoid this particular store . Let me start by explaining how I was treated so unfair and degraded like some kind of criminal! I purchased the wrong cell phone charger and I'm in the construction field. I went into exchange for the right one and they out right denied me and tried embarrassing me in front of other patrons. What ever happens to the consumer being right? This store provides inaccurate and misleading information by the drive thru window. Yesterday I was on drive thru line to simply drop off two prescriptions. Although there were signs indicating they tested for COVID-19, I didn't realize the drive thru line was specifically for that purpose. I waited almost an hour just to drop off my prescriptions! Every car took 20 minutes or more at the window. The general advisory indicates you can drop off prescriptions at this window, but this is not true. I'll admit the store clerk was apologetic when I finally reached the window, only after I told her I wanted to speak to a manager. Additionally, their prices on general items are very high. Even CVS brand sunscreen was $10. Very disappointed in this location and am thinking about possibly going to another branch. Very poorly run operation. read more

Her unwillingness to actually help people really makes it tough to get your prescription, I've been there twice and left both times without my medication, I had to call the management to intervene just so I could get my medication. Another horrible experience. This time with manager Paul. Extremely rude and disrespectful. I had lost my debit card so i had to purchase gift cards through my account from a thing called "gyft." Went shopping and was at 70 bucks and when I tried to use the gift card that is scanable he had said that they were not excepted. The app I bought through gave choices of stores that participate in this service and cvs was on there. So I check which cvs stores accept it and this store was on there. He didn't give me a chance to explain and didn't even attempt to scan the code to see if it would work. Very unprofessional and very rude to my friend and I. Will be calling corporate to report it. I give cvs a lot of business but this store in particular will not be getting any more of my money. Never felt so disrespected by a manager before. He's a team member of management so not even the store manager. Get of your high horse and get the stick out your ass. read more

Save yourself the headache of getting prescriptions from this location. Never dealt with such rude and lazy workers in my life. 3 people working in the pharmacy had lied to me about a prescription pick up for a week saying they needed approval from my doctor,but after calling my doctors office found out that this was a lie and that there never was a request sent for approval nor was there one even needed. Had hung up on me twice mid conversation after trying to figure out what the issue was and then was extremely rude to my doctors office secretary reaching out and trying to figure out what was happening. They could have just been honest and said they did not have my medication in stock so I could've had another pharmacy with proper customer service help me. Not even to mention the last prescription had taken 3 days to fill up after the script was sent and each time I called they would tell me it would be ready in an hour. The fact that these immature kids have a job is mind blowing. Whoever is in control of this pharmacy department is a joke and needs to get a new staff. read more

I had to laugh at some of the reviews of this store. The people that call this a "bad area" have no idea what a bad area is I suggest they try south central LA or Perhaps parts of Santa Ana. I have been a customer here for over 5 years. My insurance requires me to use CVS but I would come to this store anyway pharmacy staff always remember me by name. When I have a question that requires a pharmacist to answer one is right there with a smile greeting me by either first or last name. The staff is mostly Vietnamese but all speak English well with little or no accent. As far as the rest of the store is concerned it is adequately clean, not the greatest, but adequate. The environmental/cost saving lighting may hurt appearances. I find the stock staff willing to drop what they are doing to help me find something or even to take a minute to chit chat with an old fart. Attitude is a human trait when people are confronted with a "I'm from Rancho Santa Marguarita or Mission Viejo or Newport attitudes" your probably going to be treated like the as**ole you act like. read more

I'm currently learning how to be a Krazy Coupon Lady since my husband and I are starting our own little family and I am currently out of work (thanks to teacher lay-offs). I went to this CVS, as it is my local store, to give it a shot. I had a book full of coupons and TWO baskets full of groceries and I dreaded going to the check-out counter for fear that the manager and cashier were going to be irritated at me for all of my coupons. My experience, however, was quite the opposite. I don't remember everyone's name, but a young man cashier first greeted me when I walked in the store and helped me understand the was the "bonus bucks" thing worked. Also, poor Darrell (I think that is his name) was so kind and patient with me as the line behind me got longer and I kept piling groceries and coupons on his counter. In addition, the manager (a middle-aged asian man) came to help us and was so kind about the whole thing that I no longer felt nervous to shop with my measly income and humongous coupon book. He explained that he had seen Krazy Coupon Ladies before, and that he thought it was great that we were able to shop so wisely. They were even really nice when I had to go back in minutes after I walked out the door to return two body washes I bought when I meant to get the same brand's lotion. Every time I go into this store people are so nice. I even have a favorite pharmacy tech. Erin is always helpful when I go in to the store. I have seen her deal with some VERY interesting and even mean, irate customers, but she always kept her cool. She firmly and politely helped them as best as she could. This store may not look like anything special upon first glance, but people there do seem to try to make your experiences good ones. read more

I have been coming here weekly for meds that are very necessary for a family member's neurological functioning. Every week, the staff are horribly rude to the point of being counterproductive. It's really uncomfortable and confusing that the staff consistently make me feel as if I'm doing something wrong or like I'm some sort of junkie because one of the medications happens to be controlled. When i got to the check out counter, he was super friendly and helpful with me as well. It is amazing how much simple kindness can enhance a simple cvs shopping experience. Very good pharmacy. The employees are very friendly and helpful. They are always busy, but make time to greet you and work efficiently to process our prescriptions. If you can, avoid this CVS like the plague that it is. If there was a way to give this CVS 0 stars I would. I can see how like the other posts, if you only come here you would like it, this area is trashy, that explains its employees and patrons. I travel all over southern California and I have been to hundreds of different convenient stores. This was the worst CVS I have ever been to ever. Rude, dirty, lousy employees and disgusting bathroom. Parking is good because it's a sketchy part of town. When I walked in the lady behind the counter just stared at me. After not greeting doing she said, "what?" So I asked where the bathroom was. She said, I have to call it in go wait by isle 22. I hear over the loud speaker that there is a code b, I assume for bathroom. I waited 5 minutes before searching for an employee on my own, 5 isles over two employees, an old man and young girl, were talking and just standing around doing nothing. When I asked if one of them could open the bathroom, they both ignored me and picked up stuff off the shelf and pretend to be busy. I asked the girl if she would open the bathroom for me and she said no, he'll do it. Which made me incredibly uncomfortable. He was so sketchy. I didn't want to be near him. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year, the toilet paper was on the floor, along with the hand towels. And not to my surprise the note on the back of the door clearly stated that the bathroom hadn't been cleaned since 05/2013. So gross. This whole store was so gross. Gross employees, gross floor, gross smell, gross bathroom. Never going here again. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! I come here all the time since I live in the neighborhood. Usually their customer service is great except the last two times. The cash register girl was so rude to me, I couldn't even believe it, As she checked me out, she had no smile whatsoever. Didn't ask anything, looked like she didn't want to be there. Anywhos, I came to buy my sister in law some pads and I saw signs plastered everywhere saying buy 1 get one 50%off. I was like okay score! Grabbed two and at the end of my purchase I saw it was full priced. I asked her and she answers me " IT has to be the same brand, it says right on the paper didn't u look?". Okay already annoyed. So I decide to go back and check, nope nothing but I still go ahead and grab another of the same brand. Came back for her to do my return. Asked for my number for my cvs card so rude. She didn't even hand me the pen. She threw it to my side. And I payed with a card usually they would ask how I want it back. Nope, then she tells me to sign maybe more like demanding. I decided to let her know that her customer service sucked. And she didn't have to be so rude about throwing the pen. And asked for her name. Her response again " it's Rosie, it says it on the receipt look at it. And she was fighting back with me saying I threw stuff at her too in front of customers. I work in a job too where customer service is big. Our job is too help customers and answers questions customer has. read more

I've been getting my prescription filled here for over a year. I generally get good/decent service from the pharmacy dept but lately I haven't seen my normal tech or cashier there (I assume she no longer works there) and thus the service quality went down. Tonight I had a completely awful experience. I pulled up to the drive thru window 5 minutes before they close and had to wait behind one car. I admit the workers were probably annoyed that I came so late but these things happen. Customers should still be given quality customer service especially if it's a pharmaceutical emergency. When it's my turn to pull up to the window, there was still a couple of minutes left till closing time and I had a simple pickup. I tell this guy my information (he looks new) and I can see through the window he's struggling to find my prescription. Few minutes past and now it's 9pm. An Asian female pharmacist picks up the drive thru window phone and says "You're lucky we're still here to help you because we close at 9" with an annoyed face and hangs up the phone. I was shocked. I wanted to cause a scene but I just wanted my prescription. My bf was on the phone listening thru Bluetooth and was also taken aback by her comment. Terrible comment and just unfriendly!!! The original guy helping me was nice when he handed me my prescription but honestly this made me want to take my business elsewhere. If I was to base my experience on this one situation then I would give them 0 stars but because I've never been treated like this before, I bumped up my rating. read more

I live across the street from this CVS so I come here frequently for different items from time to time. I also have my prescriptions filled here. In the 5 years I've been coming here, I've never had any issues with customer service like other reviewers have had. I'm usually greeted upon entering. Pharmacy techs and pharmacists are friendly and are available to answer any questions regarding new prescriptions. read more

We have been forced by our Aetna insurance to use CVS Pharmacies. I cannot tell you how many times mistakes have been made with this particular location. At one point I was given the wrong thyroid meds that were 10 times the strength I should've been given. For a month, I had tremors, erratic heart beat and couldn't think straight. My monthly meds are RARELY ready on time. This month alone I've made FOUR phone calls trying to get a script refilled when they had the paperwork from my doctor two weeks prior to my needing it filled. I've had to go without maintenance meds several times which is not safe for my diagnosis. For 25 years I was a Walgreens customer and NEVER had an issue. Not ONE time in 25 years. Honestly....truly.... This pharmacy is a travesty and it is unbelievable to me that they are still in business. If you have options, choose Walgreens and stay away from this nightmare. read more

Well I'm glad I'm not the only person whom thinks the pharmacy staff has a shitty attitude. I have been coming to this pharmacy for a very long time now. I have been very patient and try to be very understanding we are not perfect we're only humans we will make mistakes here and there I'll give it to you but come on there has to be a point where it has to stop. I dropped off my prescription yesterday they mentioned my insurance did not cover it and it would be over $300 they said they didn't have it in stock that it needed to be ordered. I asked her if another store would have it in stock she said the CVS in Seal Beach had it in stock I left the store before driving I called to make sure they had it and nope they didn't have it in stock so I went back into the store and told the young lady to go ahead and order it there must have been a glitch in the system she looked at me and said are you sure you will have the money to pay for it???? I looked at her in disbelief I couldn't believe she had the nerve to even ask me that of course I have the money to pay for it I wouldn't be asking you to order it if I didn't have the money. I then called today in the afternoon to check status on my prescription turns out the B***H never placed my GOD medication !!!!!! Then the guy tries to cover up for her telling me if I didn't like it I should change pharmacies I told him that's not the point you guys are very unprofessional you should need to worry how I am going to pay my Goddamn medication just F****en do your job read more
