It has an excellent grocery department with fresh produce and good meats. I have gone here for incidental purchases and they have a great variety of items for automotive, home repairs, gardening, grill accessories, hygiene products and more. Lots of space and things are arranged well within the store and are easy to find. Staff is very friendly, yesterday I was having trouble getting a plastic bag open at the automated checkout lane and a man immediately was there to help me. The electronics department is great as well and it is not hard to find someone to open the case to get a product like a game to purchase. I do wish they would not have people in the store doing promotions. Most days I go they have people by the pet food doing promotions for phone or cable or charity's. Makes it less fun to shop when I feel like there are people judging me. Also Saturday mornings are for shoppers that do not like noise. They have low sensory hours during Saturday mornings here, and while this is not an issue for me, I still enjoy going during this time as you don't have all the noises the machines make constantly going off. To our surprise there was no cashiers checking anybody out. A young man came up to my wife as she was trying to self-checkout saying she was doing something wrong. I asked why do they not have any cashiers today? I was told because they had no one that was available. As they're telling me I'm noticing people with Walmart vests just standing around looking at their phones. What kind of business model is this. I said you have all these people looking at their phones. I mentioned the fact out loud that you guys are just standing around looking at your phones and you can't check anybody out where's the manager and when I said that all of a sudden they opened up lane for checkout my wife finished herself check out and I took the remainder of our groceries to this check out. There's something wrong with a company when they let people sit around on their telephones all day long and not wait on customers I'm very disappointed in this Walmart.

During my most recent visit, I was picking up prescriptions for my daughter. After being asked to wait in the drive-thru, I went inside to complete another transaction and then walked back to the pharmacy counter for an update. I politely said "excuse me" to the employee who had been assisting me, and she ignored me more than once before finally responding. Another staff member, who was helping a different customer, stopped her conversation, briefly covered her ears, and stated that she had "five people trying to talk to her at one time." I politely explained that I was speaking to the employee beside her, not to her. There was no apology or acknowledgment. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident. I have also had previous interactions with the pharmacist that felt judgmental, dismissive, and lacking in professionalism. On one occasion, sensitive medical information was discussed in an area where other customers were nearby, which made me very uncomfortable and raised concerns about privacy and discretion. On another occasion, I was simply asking for help understanding a prescription discount and received a response stating that if I could not afford the medication I should ask my doctor to prescribe a different one which I found unnecessarily dismissive and embarrassing. I completely understand that pharmacies are busy and that staff members are under pressure, but patients should still be treated with basic courtesy, professionalism, dignity, and discretion. After several experiences like this, I submitted a formal complaint to Walgreens. I hope this location takes the concerns seriously and provides additional training in customer service, communication, professionalism, and patient privacy.

The staff are usually friendly and courteous especially the pharmacy staff. Rating a good 3 stars, the new CVS further along Rayford near Riley Fuzzel is bigger, brighter and more welcoming but less convenient for me. Walgreens charges ten times as much for certain prescriptions. I'll drive to Costco to save $90. One recent evening I went to pick up a prescription. It took approximately 25 minutes. There were two people in line ahead of me. There were easily four to five pharmacy technicians (that I could SEE) getting orders ready and servicing customers. A neighbor of mine was ahead of me in line. He wondered aloud what was the problem? After the long wait, he found his order inexplicably wasn't ready. Twenty to 25 minutes to get your prescription when there are only two people ahead of you in line - and they are fully staffed with employees, many of whom have worked there for some time. Wow. As for the rest of the store, there's the creepy, unfriendly short man who is...I don't know...maybe a shift leader. Or an assistant manager. He has a foreign accent and I don't know where he's from. Possibly Nigeria? Who knows? But his attitude isn't the best. HOWEVER, there are nice, helpful people that work there. For instance, there is a cashier named Delbert who is always cheerful and helpful. The women who work in the area where they sell cosmetics and that sort of thing are mostly very friendly and courteous, which I appreciate. The manager of the store - I think is name is Mr. Yap - is always helpful and has a very humble demeanor. If he passes you in the aisles, he asks if he can help you find something, for instance. You'll recognize him by the photo of him in the store. A very pleasant man. Overall, I give three stars because of the convenience factor and due to those employees who go out of their way to be helpful and who are overall good-natured human beings.

We were placed on hold 7 times when calling to update it so our medicine could be filled. We received 2 text messages through the day that our prescription could not be filled until we updated the insurance. We gave up on calling and went to the in store window. As we waited there was a pharmacy employee who picked up the phone 3 times and couldn't even finish saying the word HELLO -----and put the caller on hold. Not 1 time did she pickup the phone to assist and of the callers. We waited minutes for our prescription to be filled and watched as she did this to every caller. We understand a pharmacy is a revolving door and demanding but be a good person and care about a job you are being paid to do and help others. Very disappointing that this is what we witnessed.

He has been patient and helpful and kind. One day I watched him field off 7 customers, handle the phones and drive through and even answer questions from the young lady helping him. He stayed calm and professional. I decided to write a thank you card to the staff next time I visited. They were blown away! Finally I hopped in the car and drove to the store, my phone speaker continuing its instruction to hold. I marched straight to the back of the store where-- no surprise-- I found the pharmacy locked and dark. I would expect them to lock the door and close the blinds at 8:00, but a respectable, professional staff would clear the phone board before heading home. They didn't even have the "common courtesy" to hang up on me. Wishing to take it up with a manager, I kept my phone speaker on as I awaited my turn for the cashier up front. "Please continue to hold as we are speaking to other customers," it repeated over and over. At 8:28 I finally spoke to a human being. "May I speak to a manager, please?" "Um, wait, is it Tuesday?" the cashier asked. "Yes, it's Tuesday. May I speak to a manager, please?" "No, he's not here. He'll be in tomorrow." "Is there nobody here who can help me with a pharmacy issue?" "Pharmacy closed at 8:00." "Yes, but they were open when I called them, and the automated voice keeps telling me they're still speaking to other customers. Look at the time stamp on my phone." I would have suggested the entire staff take a refresher course in customer service, but at that point I realized it's a fool's errand to look for any kind of meaningful assistance from people who clearly value their own time above their customers'.

Choose an old or new album, upload your pictures, choose the ones you want printed and the quantity and check out. Choose your location and whether you want to pay online or in store. Enter a coupon code if you've got one. A snap. Deduction of a star on this one, though, because recently Walgreens requires you to have one of their cards to use their photo coupons (and I abhor those silly tracking cards) and sometimes pick up can be very slow. Quality of prints is very good, at least for the 4 x 6 option that I choose. Prints are cheap even without a coupon. 2. Children's medicine: For some reason other drug stores and grocery stores with pharmacy sections are limiting the choices for children's cold and allergy medications, making it difficult to find certain brands. Walgreens has a comprehensive selection of multiple brands, so if you know something works for you and you want to stick with it, you can find it here. 3. Certain specialty lotions: Palmer's Cocoa Butter is a staple in my house (great for reducing scars and for very dry skin) and I can't seem to find it anywhere else. Check out can be laboriously slow sometimes, though. Often only one lane will be open; if someone in front of you has multiple coupons or a redemption of some sort, that only slows the lane down even more. Also, now it seems that in order to get sale prices on any item advertised in their weekly circular, you must have a Walgreens card. This is the pharmacy where I collect all my family's medication and where I go to get a lot of over…read morethe counter medications. The prescription side of the pharmacy goes on lunch break so I have to make sure I get there at a time that they are not on break. I don't understand why all have to go on break at the same time. The last time I visited there was just one pharmacy technician and one pharmacist (based on what I could see) and there was a line of about 4 people just waiting to be served. I do tend to get some helpful technicians to help me out however. Also at the regular check out I see they are trying to allow customers to use the kiosks more than a human cashier. I needed some help at one point because what I was scanning wasn't working and I pressed for help. I stood there for a couple minutes no help because no cashier or worker was in sight. I went to the back where I think is the storage and called no one answered I walked around for a while and no one came until 15 mins later. I told him my issue and he didn't come to the kiosk he walked away to the counter to do something and spoke to me from far away without even looking my way. I kept telling him it's not working and he only said if you follow my instructions it will work. Someone else came in and we were trying to sort it out together and that's when he motioned to come over, before he did however the issue was fixed and he didn't say anything just walked away. Before I could pack my stuff in the bag he went back to the storage room leaving customer's who had come in while he was there to just roam around and help themselves. So overall I feel they need more workers even if it's not a busy day at least two people so if one needs to go to the back there is someone available just incase. They keep the store clean and the shelves are always packed neatly. Better customer service is needed however.
