This is the pharmacy where I collect all my family's medication and where I go to get a lot of over the counter medications. The prescription side of the pharmacy goes on lunch break so I have to make sure I get there at a time that they are not on break. I don't understand why all have to go on break at the same time. The last time I visited there was just one pharmacy technician and one pharmacist (based on what I could see) and there was a line of about 4 people just waiting to be served. I do tend to get some helpful technicians to help me out however. Also at the regular check out I see they are trying to allow customers to use the kiosks more than a human cashier. I needed some help at one point because what I was scanning wasn't working and I pressed for help. I stood there for a couple minutes no help because no cashier or worker was in sight. I went to the back where I think is the storage and called no one answered I walked around for a while and no one came until 15 mins later. I told him my issue and he didn't come to the kiosk he walked away to the counter to do something and spoke to me from far away without even looking my way. I kept telling him it's not working and he only said if you follow my instructions it will work. Someone else came in and we were trying to sort it out together and that's when he motioned to come over, before he did however the issue was fixed and he didn't say anything just walked away. Before I could pack my stuff in the bag he went back to the storage room leaving customer's who had come in while he was there to just roam around and help themselves. So overall I feel they need more workers even if it's not a busy day at least two people so if one needs to go to the back there is someone available just incase. They keep the store clean and the shelves are always packed neatly. Better customer service is needed however. read more

i have many problems with this place but the worst happened today when i ordered my medication online and I got a call from the pharmacy 30 minutes later from a worker, she left a voicemail saying they needed to confirm something before they could deliver, and to call them back so i did, i was on hold for 30 minutes and eventually I had to hang up and make the order online again just so that they would call me instead. I am still waiting... my medication has already been delayed 3 days now. They should never tell you to call back if it wasn't their intention to answer anyway, waste of time. read more

if I could give zero stars, I would! Both of my children had to go without their medication because of the incompetency of this pharmacy! The doctor called in the prescription, and it still wasn't filled a few days later. When I called to ask, the pharmacist said they were running five days behind! That's right five days to get a prescription filled. Also, when you go to pick up your prescription, the drive-through is closed and the line even in the middle of the day is all the way across the store winding around! When I asked about my sons prescription, I was told again that it would be at least five days before they could fill it. All the employees were very rude. This CVS is a joke. I never had an issue before, but once the CVS on Rayford closed, I'm guessing everyone transferred to this one and it's overrun. The pharmacy is unorganized, constantly, and the reps don't really have a sense of urgency while working behind the desk. The drive thru lane is always busy, and it always take about 5-7 minutes for service, even if it's just a simple pick up. read more

Awful pharmacist who has put medication on hold simply because they didn't want to fill it. No warning given or even ask if you'd like to pick up at a different location. When I mentioned this to the pharmacist, he was indifferent. It was also heartbreaking to see the elderly man in front of me tell them mistakes were made four months in a row with his medication. The lady working the "consult" desk told him to try back tomorrow. The poor man looked so confused and just lost for words that he walked away dumbfounded. Just sad and pathetic. read more

Went to CVS at Rayford & 99 to pick up my husbands prescription, got in drive thru line at 5:32 with 3 cars in front of us. Get to the window and the lady locks it and says through the glass that they are closed, it was 6:01!!!! WTH! This is why we have been trying to get all of our prescriptions transferred but they won't answer their phone from the other pharmacy! So, we are having to contact our Dr to have all refills sent to HEB. 1 star was way too generous! read more

The pharmacist Mohammed refused to fill my pain med on Friday so I had to go all weekend without it. I'm not a drug seeker, if I was I would be out of a job (Deputy Sheriff). Plus it would be impossible to con the system with the cross reference system they have with the DEA. I'll be calling corporate tomorrow and see if they will terminate this person. If not then I'll have to see about litigation for pain and suffering. He couldn't give me a reason why other than I only fill my pain med prescription at CVS and it's his rule not CVS's. This is the worst CVS I have ever been to and used. Every single time I go through the drive thru I am waiting in line for over 20-30 minutes, I get to window, they tell me I have to wait 15 more minutes because it's not ready... and then have to get out of the line... and they tell me I have to come inside!!! We're transferring our scripts to HEB. Horrible customer service. We've been trying to pick up an antibiotic for our baby and every time we go they keep telling us it will be 30 more minutes. It's been almost 2 hours now and they just said it'll be 30 more minutes, but they're going to close for lunch soon. We tried to explain to the girl that we've been here multiple times today for this antibiotic and she turned her back to us and walked away without saying anything. I have been using this pharmacy for about a year. They have always been extremely nice/professional. If you ever go inside, you will see how busy this pharmacy truly is. They have never once made me feel rushed. They processed backed pre paid prescriptions, so I could receive the discount with the drug manufacturer coupon. Why have two lanes opened if you are not going to help help out both lanes. Also showed up at 1:20 and waited in line..got to the drive up window at 1:29 to be told that they were closed for lunch. This pharmacy is HORRIBLE. The pharmacy techs are extremely rude in person and on the phone. I wish I had exact names, as I am sure not every single one is this way....but I used this store for 3 years and stopped because of the way they spoke to me. I had to go back today because a drs office sent my prescription to the wrong location- I thought I would give them another try since it's been almost 2 years and not a thing has changed. I've moved around quite a bit and had to change pharmacies many times because of that. I am so happy I moved back within a 20 min drive of this Cvs. Allwell, the main pharmacist, is so knowledgeable and efficient. He is a wealth of information about prescriptions and often gives better advice on taking medications than my doctor. Whenever I have had problems with prescriptions, I've seen the techs call insurance multiple times to do everything they can to fix it. And they try multiple coupons to get the best price for you if insurance won't cover something. Knowledgeable and diligent staff. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

I am staying with my son's family during Hurricane Harvey. Without exception, the people and businesses I have encountered during this disaster have been amazing, EXCEPT CVS. My young granddaughter has a bad cough, and a bronchial infection. Her doctor prescribed medication, and conveyed the info to my son's pharmacy. When we went to CVS to pick up this much needed medication, a sign in the window stated that they're closed because of the storm. To be clear, this was midday Saturday, the first day, long before all the flooding. CVS abandoned their customers. All of the adjacent businesses were open, including the hamburger joint, the gas station, Walmart, etc. And, those businesses remained open during the entire ordeal. There was never any flooding at this location. CVS management decided to lock their doors, literally when they were needed most. read more

I would get an automated call from CVS saying the prescription is ready and when I get there they have no idea why it's not there (and this wasn't the first time). An hour later I show up and they said "oh yah we completely ran out of your medicine sorry" ... I'm sorry WHAT???? You didn't even call me and tell me so I can try and figure something else out??? Then she said, "well, we can have it here by Monday." It's Friday.. ok no. Not going to work. So then they said the only one who has it is on Grogan's Mill. Then I asked if she could call it in and get it ready for me and she kept cutting me off and acting like I was being needy for asking that question?? This CVS has the best customer service around. I have moved several times through the past 6 years and have tried many pharmacies due to my many health problems, that always mess up my prescriptions. This CVS off Riley Fuzzel & Rayford has never messed up, and the pharmaceutical team all know my husband and I by name when we walk in along with pretty much every other customer. read more

I go to this location often since its close to my house. Employees in the store are amazing and friendly. I would not recommend EVER using this pharmacy. I used this location for my pick ups when needed and usually have a long wait but didn't mind it too much because of the convenience of the location. This recent time made it my last. I called the pharmacy to make sure my prescription was ready, pick up was about 630pm. The guy who took my call said it was ready, I asked for a price and he said $5. I told them I was on my way. I get there, wait in the long line then when the rep rings me up its all of a sudden $40.00. I told her that was not the price quoted over the phone. I told her I just called and was given a different price. She asked if I wanted it or not. I said not and walked out. Every time I use this location for prescription refills its always something.
