Disclaimer: this review is primarily regarding their photo center and services. This Walgreens is…read moremy neighborhood Walgreens so I end up coming here quite a bit. Normally, I'm just in and out and the staff is typically quite friendly - they always greet you when you come into the store and usually there is an associate you can see right away if you have questions. That being said, I had a very frustrating experience with them this last weekend. I went in to print some photos off and what should have been a quick trip ended up being a near 2 hour ordeal. The photo kiosk there is extremely touchy and not the most easy to use. Your options as a user is limited. This made it difficult for me to quickly get to the photos I wanted which I had actually took time beforehand organizing into a separate album on my phone for easy access and upload. The kiosk wouldn't let me do that. The first one I went to ended up restarting by itself for some reason. Once I got through everything I needed to I tried to apply the couple per direction on the screen and it would not accept the code no matter how many times I tried it. I was so nervous about it restarting again and losing the work I put into the order. I asked an associate if I could apply the coupon at the time I picked it up and paid for it and he had no clue. He called for someone to come help me and I waited for about 8min. Finally I asked him (he was standing near me the entire time working on photos) if this machine would restart if I didn't constantly touch the screen. He also did not know that answer and then asked if anyone had come by yet. No, they had not. I ended up waiting for about 20min and he called for someone to come out and help me at least 4 more times before a manager finally meandered over to me at his own leisure. I had also observed another customer earlier standing waiting for awhile until someone helped him at the photo center. His order ended up being processed incorrectly and it took more time for them to try and figure it out. This was the second time that I came to this location to print photos and the first time wasn't as bad as this one but it also wasn't great either. People come to Walgreens for their photo needs because it's supposed to be easy, simple and convenient. Walgreens needs to make sure they staff employees who can actually work the photo center and provide customers the help and answers they need when they need it.

So frustrating. Going to start going to HyVee from now on.

We visited this Walgreens because my hair clip broke on a ride at Nickelodeon Universe (my fault…read morefor wearing it on a ride, I know!) So we came here for a hair clip to replace mine, as we were done riding for the day and just wanted to shop around and eat. This has to be the absolute tiniest and most cramped Walgreens I have ever seen in my life! I felt super claustrophobic in here with very thin aisles and only a few of them to speak of. You should think being at the Mall of America, everything is bigger and better - but that's definitely not the case at this Walgreens spot. With their location, they can also charge an arm and a leg (for people who need something last minute or for an emergency while they're at the mall for the day) - and they definitely do. I'd say just bring in your own band aids, hair ties, and aspirin when you visit, so you won't have to go to this spendy and claustrophobic Walgreens for anything! If you do find yourself needing an item and didn't bring it with you, this Walgreens is okay - I just wouldn't recommend it for anything but emergency purchase situations.

The mall of America is probably the most greatest property on earth, besides Disney properties…read more With that said, I discovered a Walgreens while wandering around the Mall. I guess it shows that you gotta have everything on your property to make people decide to come to you for everything. The mall of America is decidedly that, you Need to have a Walgreens, a destination within a destination, which is fine by me. I discovered this Walgreens by happenstance because I was just walking the mall. I reminded myself that I needed stuff, so I entered the store. This Walgreens is protracted store because it did not really have a grocery/fresh food section, like a Whole Foods does. Doesn't matter, though, I needed just drinks and snack food for an event I was doing the next morning. The overall experience here at this Walgreens store talk about 10 minutes in total. I quickly located the sports strains and other items I needed within 2 to 3 minutes after entering the store and quickly looked over the prices before he decided to buy. It was interesting that they did not have fresh food or grocery items here, but it is almost like a CVS storefor the most part though, I I'm glad that they are here so I did not have to seek out another place for the stuff that I needed anyway. Thanks to Walgreens for setting up shop here at this location at the mall of America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The service itself was pretty good and it was pretty cool that I had to say I'm from out of town when they said do you have a membership with us. Walgreens has a membership program? I do have Walgreens at home, I don't think I have a membership with them anyway. It is what it is though. The overall experience at this Walgreens store in the Mall of America was satisfactory and casual, while being positive and typical. The store was kind of small and carried what most people would need anyway on a day to day basis. What I needed within the first five minutes so I did not need to have to look around the whole entire store before finding what I needed. The store staff was cool and friendly for the most part. The store was organized and looked like nobody shopped there. Hardly anyone was in the store while I was in there. Not sure if they had air condition, but it was kind of nice to be able to come here to shop in private. With that said, it was just a casual shopping experience for me and it was good specially in a large mall, like the mall of America. I enjoyed myself here even for a few minutes shopping for some supplies. Maybe you will too. After all, do you are in the mall of America anyway. It was just nice to have a convenience store right in the mall and I am thankful for that. This Walgreens is located on the second or third floor of the Mall of America. I wasn't sure exactly. All merchants here, so they accept credit cards and cash. As far as parking goes, you are subjected to what the Mall of America has, it is a lot. They have multiple parking garages for your pleasure to park here. There's always other parking lot in the immediate area or the vicinity, so you could park there and walk on over. For myself, I ended up taking an Uber here and leaving with an Uber after my afternoon here at the mall of America on my most recent visit. Since the Mall of America is pretty close to the Minneapolis - St Paul international airport, you could probably do a day trip or an overnight stay while shopping. There's hotels near the MOA for that purpose. For the most part though, my experience here at Walgreens at the Mall of America was short, brief, and very good, since I found what I was looking for quickly and I was out of the store within 15 minutes. Rest assured that Walgreens is your neighborhood convenience store brand. While this location doesn't have as much as Walmart does the fresh produce that Whole Foods does, you can get many of the name brand items you depend on every day. And so, if you need Walgreens in your life, consider coming to this location at the Mall of America in Minneapolis Minnesota. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. 3.5 stars for the service. 4.0 stars for the selection and prices. 5.0 stars because I was wandering around and found it by happy coincidence. At first, I was picking up medication for my cat every few weeks at my vet until I was told I could…read moreorder in larger bulk from Bloomington Drug. I decided to try ordering through them so that I did not have to drive to my vet every 2 to 3 weeks. I called them to make my first order, and it was very easy, and I received the bottle in the mail. Once I opened the packaging, I noticed my medication was in a very cheap, flimsy bottle that had some sort of Saran Wrap or plastic wrap around the top to prevent it from leaking, and as I unraveled it, there was this gooey white substance on it. The first day, trying to open the bottle, I twisted it, and while I twisted the flimsy bottle, a giant glob of goop shot out onto my table. That was the medication. I managed to get it back into the bottle and noticed that when you screw the lid on, it does not lock in place, it just keeps turning and leaks as you shake it. When I was getting the same medication from my vet, it came preloaded in syringes, and that was in a nice, leak-proof container. There was never a leak. I tried dispensing this mix into a few syringes, so if we were out, I did not have to bring around the bottle. Well, I quickly learned that their mixture makes the rubber in syringes get soft and stretchy and breaks it down. I was low on medication due to their cheap leaky bottle so I called in today for a refill. I told them the whole situation about how the bottle leaks and how its flimsy and I tried so see if I could get an order of the syringes like the ones that come with it with no rubber and because im in the process of a change of address I was trying to work out options and the got everything setup with first person. I called back to finally get everything and the second person was completely rude. I don't know how companies hire people like this to work in customer service. No wonder this place only has 3.8 stars. The issue is not the business, it's your front-facing people representing you. I hung up the phone and quickly called my vet and told them I will never do business with Bloomington Drug again. I would rather drive 30 minutes to 1 hour every 2 weeks than have my medication shipped to me and be helped by rude, disgraceful people. I have read many reviews stating rude staff, and well maybe it's not everyone there, but all it takes is one. Also, I'm not going to spend money on a product that comes in a medical container that, when you shake it, the thing leaks. That does not sound very sterile to me. If my container leaks I wonder what other medical products have quality control issues. I will be speaking more about this with my vet. For more information feel free to contact me. I made the story and review shortly so it would fit.

My veterinarian recently prescribed medication to help manage my small dog's cough. After reviewing…read moreX-rays, the vet advised me to start the medication, Tussagon, immediately because the imaging showed that my dog's trachea wall appeared thinner, which could indicate a risk of collapse. After several unsuccessful attempts to refill the prescription at my local CVS, I was instructed to contact Bloomington Drug and Gift. When I called, a pharmacist (whose name I unfortunately did not catch) collected preliminary information to create a profile and told me the medication would be ready the following morning at 9:00 a.m. When I called the next morning, the experience became confusing and frustrating. The staff member I spoke with seemed unsure who had previously taken my information and said there was no order in the system. I was then quickly transferred to another pharmacist. When I asked if they could locate my profile, it was eventually confirmed, though the interaction felt tense. When I asked if they could determine who had entered my information, I was told they could not and that they would need to locate the pharmacist I had originally spoken with. During this conversation, I was told that I was giving "attitude," when in reality I was simply trying to explain how the situation had unfolded before being transferred again. Another pharmacist then took the call and asked about my prescription. I explained the veterinary clinic and location that issued it, but before I could finish, I was told that if specific information was missing, they would not be able to fill the prescription. I asked what information they had so we could review it together before I made the trip to the pharmacy. I also explained that the veterinarian's full name and license number were listed on the prescription. I was told they would still need to physically see it. When I arrived at the pharmacy, my prescription was denied because my date of birth was not written on the prescription for my dog. I was extremely confused by this requirement. I even offered to present my Minnesota driver's license, but I was told that my date of birth had to be written directly on the prescription by the veterinarian. I was informed that the only solution would be to obtain a rewritten prescription. Unfortunately, when I later attempted to contact my local vet to resolve this, I discovered the clinic was closed that day due to being understaffed. Jeff, the final pharmacist who assisted me, did attempt to contact my veterinarian and the clinic, and I appreciate that effort. He also suggested that I visit the WellHaven clinic in Savage to see if they could rewrite the prescription. When I arrived and explained the situation, the staff at WellHaven were surprised that Bloomington Drug had been unable to fill the prescription. After making several calls, the veterinarian there helped identify another pharmacy where I could finally have the prescription filled. From my perspective, this situation seemed to come down to a rigid procedural judgment call that created significant barriers to obtaining medication that my vet said needed to start immediately. I later learned that the FDA does not require the pet owner's date of birth for a pet prescription. While I understand that pharmacies must follow regulations, it was confusing that there was no alternative way to verify my identity, such as using my Minnesota driver's license. Overall, the experience left me feeling exhausted, frustrated, and disappointed. When an animal's health is at risk, processes should help facilitate care rather than create unnecessary obstacles. This situation made me deeply concerned about how similar situations might affect both animals and people who rely on timely access to medication. Disappointed Customer

After grabbing a bite to eat at Taco Bell, I spotted this Walgreens across the street. I decided to…read moredrive over to this store and check it out. There was plenty of parking. I backed into a spot and walked into the store. Each Walgreens tends to be set up slightly differently. I had Crest Densify toothpaste greet me. A few steps more, I got a huge Squishmallows plushie screaming at me to take him home. Sadly, I had to pass because he was huge. I was here to get some hair accessories. My hair elastic holder died on me and I needed a replacement. I found the perfect set. Since I do have shorter hair these days, I found some stylish bobby pins that looked like barrettes. I picked those up, too. The sugar-free candies section is incredible. It was my first time seeing sugar-free Red Vines. Who knew? I visited this store on New Year's Eve Eve. There were hats and other celebratory accessories. I have a weakness for Campbell's Chunky Soup. It was a luxury to me as a kid. A soup that eats like a meal? Yes, please! Chunky soup was on sale. I got a can each of the sirloin burger with country vegetables, and creamy chicken and dumplings. I went to pay for my items. I had a nice, polite man help me out. I entered my phone number on the payment screen to get some items discounted. I paid with my credit card and all was great. I thanked the man and headed to my car. Back to Chunky soup, it's perfect when you are travelling because you can lift the lid open without finding a can opener. It's up to you whether you want to heat it up in a small pot or microwave, depending on what you have in your hotel room. My favourite is the sirloin burger with country veggies. It's so hearty and delicious. Towards the end of my stay, I cracked open the creamy chicken and dumplings. It was my first time having it. It may be my second favourite soup now. It was indeed chunky and hearty. The dumplings were pillowy, and are a cross between slippery dumplings and spaetzle. So good! I had a great experience here. My hair accessories are great, too. (18)

I looked outside on the ground and moved my car up to look under to make such I wasn't missing them because they claim they were on top of my bag when they sent it out. Not only did I look on the ground but a pharmacy tech also came out to help me look. Not found. I called the police because something wasn't right about all this and not being able to find it. I went into the pharmacy to see if they had talked yet to the cop because he was going to call them. I was told by Megan that she looked at the video and saw that the card was sent out! Hard to believe that after 2 people looked thoroughly on the ground outside for it that we couldn't find it anywhere! The cop called me after he talked to Megan (he though he was talking to pharmacist). I thought since she told me she viewed the video and it was sent out to me, I called her to ask if I could view that video and if she would let me I'd get the cop to come in so we could view it together! Low and behold it shows up. She claims someone from the drive thru found it on the ground and brought it in. Seriously where was it when two people were out there looking for it and it was no where? After all this I came home and thought since my prescription was a narcotic I'm going to count them to see that I got the correct amount and I was shorted one pill. I called and Megan answered. I told her that I was shorted. She rudely said that I was not. Not only did I count it 4 times but had my husband count it also just to make sure. I'm writing this review to let people know to be careful when dealing with this location! Next time due to being shorted I will ask for them to count them in front of me before I leave the store. The general manager is going to be looking into this and watching video to find out what she can. Even the cop after telling him I got my cards back had a hard time believing that something fishy seems to be going on!!
