I have asked multiple times to get my 2023 year end statement of all my prescriptions. I have filed 3 HHS/ HIPAA complaints so far on CVS, due to a mix up patients and failure to provide my accurate medical records, which is a HIPAA violation. I spoke to the executive offices for almost an hour in 2023. My records are still being mixed up with another patient, which I have spoken to and communicate with regarding these issues. Today, I requested to know which prescriptions were on my account and the total I paid, as I am filing my taxes and was out of state. I only needed the total cost which I paid. It would have taken 2 minutes to provide the date and the amount as my taxes are getting prepared tomorrow. I told them I could pick up my 2023 tax statement tomorrow evening when I was back in town, but to provide the amount I paid. Please have the executive offices call me. I additionally notified the executive offices. This has been going on for over 2 years all in all. Why can't I get my correct records after 2 years? I told the pharmacist to prepare a 2023 tax statement for me as I need it for supporting documentation for my taxes. They refused to email it, fax it and refused to talk to me about my prescriptions. The pharmacist told me that there is only one prescription on my account that I picked up in December of 2023. That is simply false. I take a regular prescription. The regular pharmacists there are great otherwise. The patient that they mixed me up and I have spoken, texted and emailed. The other patient lives in Florida. I already sent her a certified copy of her portion of the records in June of 2024 where CVS breached the records again by giving me part of her records by email. I have worked with the executive offices multiple times giving them an opportunity to not only allow the inspection of my medical records, which they have refused, but also to provide my 2023 statement of my pharmacy records. I waited 39 minutes on hold today after telling me they only had one prescription on my record for 2023, which I told her was inaccurate. The pharmacist, who I did not recognize, then put me on hold and refused to talk to me, and after 39 minutes she hung up and did not call back. I then spoke to Katie the store manager, at the time. She proceeded to call the pharmacy manager. She put me on hold for at least 30 minutes and then hung up on me. I called again and this time Dodee, the operations employee, got in the line and stated that Katie was out of the facility. I asked her if she left her store unattended, and she replied that is not what she said. She then told me that Katie was on break and that she would call me at 8:30pm. It is now 8:47 and she never called me back either. To be on record, I am requesting the electronic inspection of the PHI inspection and need the pharmacy manager to call me. I emailed the executive offices again. I need the total amount by morning as this is simple when the records should be clear and concise. The public needs to be made aware of the mix ups. I can't help CVS correct the records if they don't let me do the inspection of my records, as what they have provided are my records along with person No 2's records. You can improve by getting the antiquated computer system up to date with pop ups to protect your patients and allow the federally mandated inspection of the records. I need the inspection of my PHI electronic records. read more

The reviewer who said this is consistently the slowest drive thru was right. Came for COVID drive-thru testing and arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time. Woooow...sat for ~20 minutes at the drive thru immediately behind the car that was at the window. Called the pharmacy to ask what was going on and was told "just be patient." Got to the window and their speaker was barely working, if at all. Could not hear the pharmacy tech, though at least she seemed nice and like she was "trying." I think I saw a pharmacist working inside. She looked disinterested/indifferent, and generally unhelpful - basically one of those people who probably hate their job. Last time I did a CVS drive thru Covid test at a different location they were much better. Gave us a pair of gloves so we could handle the Covid drop box without as much contamination. So once again it seems to be a struggle for the CVS staff to be nice and considerate. The same lady that is the manager there is absolutely so rude. I've been in there three times and every time you'll get some attitude or a head shake. I asked where something was and she acts like it's such a big deal to ask for help, lady isn't this your job. This is a generally well stocked and clean CVS. This issue usually comes at checkout. I feel like I have some issue there almost every time I attempt check out. It usually has to do when I use CVS or manufacturer coupon. Additionally, if I'm getting check out by the clerk, they never ask ab coupons, I have to know exactly which ones I have available to use. Over all just a pain but I guess I get what I need. read more

I love the fact that the aisles are really spacious and this CVS is very organized and it's easy to find what you're looking for because the aisle signs are all visible from anywhere in the store. It's never overly crowded and you can get in and out in no time. There are two ways to get in and out of the parking lot which is also convenient. read more

The pharmacy at this location provides the worst customer service. They seldom answer the phone lines. I called 4 times today and never got through. I was on hold for 15-20 min each time. The staff person who checked me out today had a bad attitude and was not helpful. I have experienced this poor customer service many times before today. Do NOT use this pharmacy. The worst pharmacy experience I've ever had. I've lived the the area and used the pharmacy for about 3 years before however, the pharmacy is always short staffed, they have long wait times, never answer the phone. The pharmacy manager Aliec is the most rudest person I've ever met. My doctor had called prescriptions there but my insurance didn't cover the pharmacy so they needed to be transferred after two weeks, 4 in person visits, call to corporate, and her threatening to call the police on me I still never got my prescriptions. This CVS never ceases to amaze me when it comes to their Pharmacy. I would say 50% of the time they mess something up. There is one employee who I see there quite a bit who tends to get a little flustered which doesn't give me confidence when they are giving folks there prescription drugs. Avoid the pharmacy at this location if possible! I know I certainly will avoid it going forward. After trying to get a prescription filled multiple times via the drive-thru or in-person, I was finally properly helped the third time I drove to this location three days after the prescription was supposed to be ready. The first time I came they said my prescription would be ready in a hour. I came back two hours later after giving them some extra time & the prescription still was not ready. If they had just said we're busy so please come back tomorrow, then that would have been one thing. However, when they tell someone a prescription is going to be ready & you make another trip to pick it up only to wait in line, deal with their RUDE attitude, & excuses about why the prescription is still not ready, then that's just terrible customer service. I will not come back to this pharmacy ever AGAIN. Convenient location right next door to the new strip mall at Windsor Pkwy; Gateway at Sandy Springs. Always have what I need whenever I go to shop. Have my CVS card connected online to an app so I get great deals download weekly just by a simple tap of a button. Customer service is pretty good. Some times the front cashier may be doing other things and no one is there to ring you up. For the most part, customer care is good and the ladies are pleasant to deal with. read more

Avoid this CVS if at all possible. Approximately a month or so ago I was in the pharmacy checkout line, and a gentleman was there complaining about receiving the wrong prescription. Although this is a huge offense I didn't think much of it because my prescription is easily identifiable and had little fear of an accidental change without my easy recognition. The worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. I went through the drive through and they told me it would be 20 minutes for my prescription. I ran errands and came back about 45 minutes later for them to tell me they forgot to fill it. They saw there were people behind me and told me to circle around and come back into the drive through and then they would have it done. Once again, I got to the window after waiting for thirty minutes after circling for them to still not have it done. The two ladies I dealt with were very rude and short. The Blood pressure meter is usually broken, and that prevents me from giving 5 stars, but I recommend this location as a good one. AVOID!!! I have been getting my prescriptions filled there every two-three months since last spring only because it is literally within walking distance to my apartment. There has NOT been a time where I have not have had major issues with getting my prescription with them and not once have they been kind or patient about it. I'm not sure even where to begin but for starters I am usually on hold over the phone between 30min-1hr only to get cut off and having to call all over. This staff is INREADIBLY rude, almost every visit messing up my prescription order and today was nearly the last straw when I gave them plenty of notice to refill my perscripion which still wasn't ready by the time they closed and was told to come back for a very important mediation I needed when they couldn't have ready as promised. Run the other way! This pharmacy used to be good. I don't know what happened. They've gotten consistently worse over time. I mean really bad mistakes. For instance one of the pharmacists told me that one of my medicines, that has worked great for me, is no longer covered. Then I found out later from my doctor's nurse that it is, that I just needed to give the pharmacy the NDC number, which did work. The pharmacist who told me that medicine was no longer covered even got annoyed with me, turning a little cold. Most of the pharmacists are very nice, most of the assistants are nice; one or two have been rude or icy, but there are still these increasingly frequent mistakes, And they rarely apologize. I hate to think of of people who have dementia or some other kind of mental problem that makes them vulnerable because of their mistakes, because they don't realize the pharmacy has made a mistake. I mean, someone could end up dying!! Needless to say, I'm changing pharmacies as fast as possible. Way too long this has gone on. read more
