This is coming from a previous Kroger front end supervisor, lol. I'm a regular so I will say some of them I recognize do a good job, but wow on multiple occasions in the evening they'll start making their announcements etc. probably around 10:30. I usually don't have that much so I'm quick and easy in-and-out. I'll walk up to self checkout at like 10:45 and then there's a huge line because the genius self checkout worker already started closing down the lanes. Definitely not protocol whatsoever. I'm gonna be completely honest when I say if I was supervising that night I would've given them an earful, lol. Isn't the goal to get the people out? Now that my rant about particular self check out workers is over, I'm very happy that this updated store finally opened. Sooooo much of an improvement compared to the old, tiny one on Delk and Powers Ferry. The speed bumps are a little annoying but other than that parking is great. Huge spots, lots of cart corrals. Gas station is awesome and regularly has a competitive price. The selection here at this store is great. I will also say I think I've seen a general improvement in the front end some recently, I think they might have a newer front end manager or something. Whoever you are, keep up the good work. I think you might still have a couple SCO workers that could use some tips though lol. Overall, solid store.

They are always very friendly and helpful, my complaint is that there is no point in ordering anything online ahead of time. The subs are usually not ready and as was my experience tonight, after they weren't ready on time again even though I ordered 40 minutes ahead of time, I left and came back 20 minutes later to be told that they were out of chicken tenders and didn't know how long it would be before they could make the subs. Had I been told that on my first visit or called since they ask for your phone number when you order I could have made other plans. I feel like this place is a coin flip. You never know what you might get. I've had other issues and most of the time there didn't seem to be any desire to meet me half way to work it out.

It's mostly self service and when I ask the manager if there's anybody at customer service he goes yeah they'll be there in a minute, but it took over 10 minutes for someone to appear and when they did, they were not very helpful even though there was at least three of us in line trying to get some kind of help! If it wasn't so close by, I would not have stopped here, but unfortunately, I needed milk! I actually was able to ask the pharmacist several questions that I was confused about when taking a pharmacology course. My favorite moment is a few weeks ago when I was out of my compression socks for work and I was able to run in, buy a pair, put them on in the store, and head off to work!! It was a life saver for me after working 4 shifts straight and not having time to wash my other socks. Due to my hectic schedule, I never call before I show up. They have never been annoyed with me even when it's 10 minutes before closing and they have to fill the prescription. I cancelled my mail order prescriptions just so I could support our local pharmacy. They also help me find coupons for one of my medications. They work hard to make sure I am getting the best price. I get excited about going in because they have cute boutique type items to look at and purchase. I am always thinking of who I need a present for when I am in there. Never boring when I need to wait...btw...I've never waited more than 10-15 min!

Each box is supposed to contain something joyful, like maybe a little popper or a birthday message. Currently the seasonal items they have out include UGA football, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. There are also sections of wedding, baby, and birthday themes items, as well as things that are good for a "just because" gift. I have been in three times since I've transferred my prescriptions and every time I've been in there, the people I have come in contact with have been very short, not friendly, not welcoming and that's just super disappointing to me. Also, when my prescriptions are completed, I've never gotten a text, call or an email to let me know, and when I called to check, they made me feel like I was bothering them to ask if they were ready for pick up. I thought maybe the first time I went in there it was a one off day because everybody has those, and I realize that but to go in there three different times now and call and speak to people and not be welcomed or felt any kind of friendliness is saddening.
