I wish management actually hired more staff so they were not so overwhelmed. Given the sheer number of patients they work with and having such a perpetual limited staff, it is amazing that the employees here continue to rise above. So glad I changed pharmacies. Good luck getting ANYONE on the phone at this establishment. They have an enormously frustrating AI…read morephone attendant that, after about 4 mins of incredible incompetence, finally connects you to a pharmacy Voice Mail that apparently is not monitored. They do not call back in a timely fashion. If you have emergent prescriptions, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE. So I advise you to do one of two things: 1.) Don't send your prescription to this pharmacy. 2.) Drive over there, wait in incredibly long lines, and experience the same frustration in person. I highly recommend the Walgreens Pharmacy in San Rafael instead. The pharmacists are available via phone and the line is always small or reasonable. Once again that's the Walgreens on 830 3rd St. in San Rafael.

Anyway, Charley, is my favorite pharmacist because he is a gentleman and he is straight with you about your medication if they have it or not, or if they have to order it and how long it might take! I like that because it gives me options about maybe trying another pharmacy if I have to wait a long time! A lot of pharmacists are not so straight with customers and it can screw up their medication plans for the month, especially if you need a ride to the pharmacy! Try Safeway pharmacy if you are having a rough time in lower Marin. They also have a Quest, blood draw lab right in the grocery by the pharmacy! It's great!
