This CVS location is the most convenient option for me to pick up prescription drugs and non-over the counter versions, as well as other toiletries and small groceries. The latter of which is a little pricier than a Walgreens brand, yet makes up for the price markup with 2-3 feet of coupon printouts (no exaggeration). What I dislike about this store is the location. While its fairly easy to locate due to being on the corner of Bailey Boswell, its a pain trying to exit due to the Walmart traffic. There is somewhat of a blind curve at the rear of the exit that you absolutely must take caution with due to the excess speeds of other drivers within this parking lot. Further, there is an old school LAN line telephone from the 1980s that acts as your communication method for the pharmacy's drive-thru. Ummm, what? CVS, can't you use the intercom, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic? Folks, be sure to have a babywipe ready to wipe this phone prior to talking. I've been using this pharmacy for a while, tend to always have issues with prices and my scripts being wrong. I ran out early as they didn't have my correct script from the doctor so I called over a week ago to make sure they were aware, they said they'd reach out to my doctor to correct the issue. Again today I come up after calling to verify they got my current prescription, only to find it's the previous prescription and they never updated it from my doctor. When I tell the girl it's wrong she just kinda shrugged at me. No offer to make it right, or any way I could get the appropriate prescription. Of course this is a script I have to take to live, so I'm just stuck with running out and having to ration until my insurance will fill it again. Not even the worst part, as I'm waiting I hear the techs talking about how they shorted someone's prescription from 90 pills to 30 because the pharmacy tech shook the pill bottle instead of verifying the amounts. She even said she knew it wasn't correct but instead of making sure she just gave it to the person anyway. Completely irresponsible. I am pulling all of my scripts and going elsewhere. read more

DO NOT GO HERE FOR BLOODWORK. Unless you need a doctor order (you usually don't) for the test, go straight to Quest Diagnostics. If you go to CVS first, you will pay $60 just to be told they don't do blood work there and will be given a referral for Quest. You DONT need the referral to get the test. You will have to pay another $100+ for the test at Quest. The $60 is completely unnecessary. read more

Terrible experience. Under staffed pharmacy. They had me on hold for over an hour. So I drove to the pharmacy and they tech was unprofessional and told me if I came inside they would take care of me faster. Don't bother with Minute Clinic's online check in. I had an hour and a half wait after check in only to get another hour wait in store.

Went to minute clinic in a Tuesday and waited over 2 hours to be seen for a shot. The nurse seemed like she did not want to be here. She stopped between patients to "do labs" then would call people in, the phone would ring and she would send them back out. Some pointers for any manager of those place, either get her an assistant during flu season or buy a $20 answering machine so she doesn't have to answer the phone while patients are there. Pharmacy techs were so loud I could hear then in the waiting are for minute clinic, yelling comments about people's names and shouting to each other across the pharmacy. The pharmacist tried to say something to them, but it was too busy too stop and coach them. It's a shame. read more

Easily the worst CVS I've ever had the displeasure of doing business with. They staff a huge crew and still manage to be slow and inefficient. As I was writing this review, waiting on them to fill a single prescription, my daughter had time to fully read through three magazines. Further, the lady at the drive-thru window is going on ten minutes explaining why she they can't help the customer while the lady at the counter is literally taking customer prescriptions and lining people up in the waiting area while the actual pharmacist drowns in whatever she's doing all-the-while three other "associates" haven't so much as twitched. I wouldn't even recommend my 5 year old son to use They are highly unprofessional. They frequently lose prescriptions and blame it on being "short staffed". When you let them know you're aware or their negligence, as it is the first occurrence, they threaten to call the police. They also screen calls to avoid unhappy customers. I haven't used the pharmacy here, hence the higher rating than what everyone else is giving this place. I have been here numerous times though for other things and have never had an issue locating something I need. The staff has always been helpful and I like the fact that they have a RedBox right on the property. Overall, it's just an average CVS and I will continue to come here. read more

This pharmacy knows me by name..MR FIALLOS. They are always kind to me and treat me with the upmost respect and answer all of my questions. Yes, this is a busy pharmacy but give them a break; these technicians work their tails off to make sure all of our needs are met as well as help us lower our cost with recommending coupons to save some money. Special recognition to TRISTAN, GRACE, and MEGAN (although everyone else deserves the same kudos); this pharmacy team is by far the greatest and most understanding of all the pharmacies I have ever come across. This is regarding the Minute Clinic there. I'm a teacher and was there to have a snakebite on my finger looked at. I was able to get other teachers to cover 3 of my classes so I could go in. In spite of having a 3 hour window and only 2 people ahead of me I was never seen. Towards the end of 3 hours they called the person who was after me on the wait list. As I was discussing this with another patient waiting, the clinician came back out of the room and told me "I know what I'm doing" I had to leave to go back to work after that. I won't be visiting again. Hopefully I can get somebody to look at my finger before it falls off. read more

Deborah just weighted her and check for heart rate and look into her ears but said I could get it done for 35.00 Then a month later I get a bill from Minuteclinic Diagnostic of Texas for 14.00 dollars when I could of got this physical for free cause of Medicaid but I need it done that day and my child said next week would be to late. This is the worst. I usually go to another pharmacy but my insurance is contracted with cvs. My 11 month old has the flu, I recently switched insurances I went in to talk to the pharmacy about the issue. She told me the price 142$ I said that's a lot. Is that my insurance she said well I don't know since you don't have the card.. I called my work and got more info, the tech hands me a paper with information for me to get I'm there in the pharmacy with my sick baby calling cvs Caremark for them to tell me to have the pharmacy to call they can't give me the information over the phone so the pharmacy has to call anyway... this tech has no compassion and no people skills. Can't express how mad I am. We made an appointment for my wife, who is a medical professional, to get COVID tested for the first available slot, which was the next day. I get that, and the process itself was as good as it could be. They said results would take 2-4 days. 2 days later we got a notice that our MYCHART account had a new result. Anxiously we went to see if she had it, only to find...NOTHING! Calling the pharmacy, of course waiting on hold to talk to someone, we were told that even though the result was in, they are 8 DAYS BEHIND PUTTING THEM IN THE SYSTEM! Are you kidding me!? After 10 days she's either in the hospital or has figured out she doesn't have it. And, by the way, the pharmacist can't tell you the result, they don't have them. I get that this may be Minute Clinic's fault, but then the people at CVS need to be honest on when you can expect ACTUAL results. They are quick to get your insurance info, and will likely get paid before we find out the results. Just be aware if you are hoping to get test results...you may be better waiting it out or going somewhere else. read more

Went online and ordered pictures to be printed that I needed the next morning. I got an email at 3:30 am that the photos were ready for pickup. I went in at 8:30 am and was told the machine was broken. The workers were very professional but why would I get a confirmation email when the machine is broken. I needed those pictures today and now I'm out of luck. I'll never be going back to this CVS. Everytime I go here it's a hassle. I'll go to the Walgreens right down the street. read more

CUSTOMERS BEWARE: I went to the Saginaw, Texas clinic on Friday May 8th with an ear infection and strep throat. The person running the clinic that day was 5 minutes late opening which should have been my first clue to walk away. After an exam I was told that it looked like I had strep and an ear infection but that I could not be given antibiotics until a throat culture came back which would take 48-72 hours. The PA apologized for not being able to do anything for me but told me that is the way they have to do it. I waited for a phone call with my test results and the resulting prescription so that I could get well. As of Monday morning I did not have a call so I called to get my test results. I was told that they were negative but that the diagnosis showed an ear infection therefore she should have given me antibiotics at that point and not bothered with the strep test at all since they are treated the same way. I was also told that if I was drinking something, which I was, right in front of the PA taking the culture, it may wash away too much of the bacteria and cause a false negative. The representative on the phone stated that she would send a message to the clinic to call me about treatment and that I should expect a call within 24 hours. I did not get a call so I called again to request follow-up. I still did not get a call. I am now a full 5 days from my visit with a very simple diagnosis that according to the phone rep should have ended in a prescription for antibiotics. I have now called a third time only to be told that there is nothing the phone rep can do short of suggesting I book another appointment and pay again. In the 5 days since this appointment, 2 of the other 4 members of my household have been diagnosed with Strep as well as a visitor to my home on Friday afternoon. I obviously have two situations that require a simple antibiotic to make better and I cannot get a phone call back from the PA who should have had me feeling better on Day 1 had she done her job according to your clinic guidelines. I am extremely disappointed in CVS and the minute clinic and not only will not be recommending them but will actively be letting anyone who will listen know that this is nothing more than a money making scam and this particular clinic and the people on the "help line" are not interested in rectifying the situation but instead looking to have you come back and pay again for not doing their job right the first time. read more

I spoke with a pharmacy manager named Heather regarding 2 failed attempts on their end to get an authorization from my insurance company. I transferred my prescription request from another CVS that had no issue with getting an approval from my insurance company, to this location. I tried to explain this to Heather and she immediately went on the defensive about what they did right and what the other store did work. She was very unprofessional and a poor representation of the type of service that I'm used to getting from CVS. read more

Don't waste you time going to the Saginaw CVS. They don't care about their customers. Tonight I went to pick my prescription that was called in two days ago and was told it was not ready. When I inquired why it was not ready the female pharmacist told me she didn't know why it was not ready but it wouldn't be ready until the morning because she had 50 people ahead of me. I asked her if I could get one pill until she had time to fill the prescription because missing a dose would make me dizzy and light headed. The pharmacist could not of cared less that missing a dose would cause me problems. She refused to give me one pill until the next day and then told me to "have a nice day". I gave this CVS 4 stars because I have only received great customer service here. There is a lady named Jackie and she is very knowledgeable and friendly. I send all my family's prescription's here and shop the sales. They are coupon friendly. I read the other reviews and I cannot say I've never waited for a script or that they were not busy.. ever.. But what I can say is that with the current staff I have never been disrespected and I go to pick up my scripts when I receive the text alert advising me my scripts are ready so the only wait time I have is waiting in line for pick up. My scripts are always ready. I highly recommend signing up on CVS.com for their Rx alerts. This helps me a lot having two small kids. read more

I went to CVS this evening to pick up my prescription, my doctor called it in at 4:00pm. I got there at 7:00pm. There was a long line when I finally reached the counter the staff looked stressed and overwhelmed. When I said my name they told me it would be 20 minutes. I explained they had 3 hours to fill it that they had ample time. The girl filling the scripts Heather told me very rudely said sorry that's the best I can do. I expressed my frustration and she said well I can just wait until tomorrow to fill it if you want or you can patiently wait 20 minutes there are people ahead of you. I already don't feel good which fuels the fire and if you get an attitude with a costumer be prepared to get it right back. I waited 20 minutes and said what's the ETA? She said you'll have to wait like everyone else. The girl that walked in with a new script was told it would be 20 minutes. Mine had been called in 3 hours earlier but I had the same wait time?? She said forget it I'm not filling your prescription what pharmacy do you want it called into? I had another script ready and she would not let me get that either. The manager Mindy told me to leave or she would call the Fort Worth police, news flash it's Saginaw genius. I told her I would be reporting her to corporate tomorrow and she said fine I don't care!! That's abuse of power because she knew I needed the meds today. When I got to Walgreens guess what it hadn't been called in. She waited one hour to call knowing that it would cause me stress.
