This Walgreens is down the street from my house so its a convenient stop when we need things. The staff is always friendly and helpful, even in the pharmacy. The downside is...there seems to never be enough people working. The pharmacy is ALWAYS busy. I have gone to the pharmacy many times to find that the line inside was very long, and the line at the drive-thru was very long. I always feel bad for the pharmacy staff because they also look very overworked--they need more people back there. Tip: If you do not have the time to wait for your prescription to be filled, go to another pharmacy. read more

Beware: Find another Pharmacist, Walgreens has gone downhill in their services. Go to CVS or another local pharmacy, just not Walgreens. They'll have me on hold for an hour, then when a tech gets on the phone and says hold on, they hang up. Called the front of the store to see if they can transfer me ahead because I've waited an hour and a technician either hung up the call or got disconnected. Nonetheless, I waited for my turn and I wasn't willing to wait another hour, they were just as awful and hung up every time it transferred back to them because the call was on a continual ring. This pharmacy closes at 1:30 for lunch. I was there at 1:25 and was the last car in line. When I pulled up to the window, someone pulled down the shade and put out a closed sign. I was the only car left. My window was down and it was 1:29. She looked me in the eyes as she pulled the shade down. Extremely rude and unprofessional! read more

Horrid customer service. Location on Camp Bowie was closing and could not fill my prescription. They informed me that any Walgreens could pull it up and fill it, and they recommended that I to go to the location on Hulen (was closed by the time I got over there). So, girlfriend and I call this location. After being on hold for almost an hour, she explains that we need it filled at this location. They put her on hold, and transferred the call apparently because all we began to get was running as if to another line for approximately two minutes only to have the call disconnected. I am currently on hold again attempting to talk to them again. As of now there are still "two callers ahead" of me and I have been waiting for 27 minutes. read more

Pharmacy never has shit ready. 7 hours and I drive up there for them to tell me they don't have it and have to get it from a warehouse. A phone call would have been nice so I can call my doctor for a different medication. Mfs this is the SLOWEST PHARMACY. USUALLY IT TAKES HOURS FOR THEM TO FILL IT. My refill was 3 hours last time and 5 hours before that refill. I'm tired. Switching after I get this medication. read more

The only reason I'm giving it a star, is that it's available. I pull up into the parking lot...it's a double drive-thru...five cars deep on one side...boot four on the other line....what would you do if stool you haf to do is, DROP OFF? Exactly what I did; go inside. But,......the drop off window has a sign that says proceed to the pick up window. That widow area has a little mini lobby with chairs. Four people there. Three people in front of me. Everyone in front of me were picking up. Some had to get certain meds mixed. Others were still being made! When it's finally my turn....I politely ask, why the drop off window is closed? Since I had been waiting for 20+ min just to hand her a piece of paper. That's going too take 30+ min to fill!!!! HORRIBLE service. I was almost done with my antibiotics but still wasn't better. My doc told me to continue the antibiotics and told me to refill my prescription. I call Walgreens in Lake Worth. They say they will have my prescription ready in 90 minutes. I'm sick and in a wheelchair so my friend goes to pick it up. They give him a different prescription from the one I needed. When he gets back, I call the pharmacy. They say they don't have the prescription I needed and they ordered it. No one bothered to call and tell me this. No one told my friend when he picked it up. When I explained I'm already on the antibiotic and can't stop it, the guy on the phone was rude, condescending, and basically said they don't care. They told me it was up to me to call all the Walgreens and see if they have it. The first one I called in White Settlement, looked in their system and told me which Walgreens had the medicine available now. I will be switching stores to White Settlement even though I have to drive several more miles. The one in Lake Worth is consistently late and this is not the first time they have been rude and unwilling to provide decent service. read more

I recently went to this Walgreens, and was checked out by an employee named Brianna. When I was checking out, she was on the phone speaking with someone. I was not greeted after I said hello. Instead, this employee proceed to talk on the phone about her personal issues. Such as, her pregnancy and relationship issues. I felt uncomfortable hearing such issues, and did not think it was professional. I understand working at walgreens, employees are probably paid within minimum wage and it is not the most exciting job. So I understand that there is no need to go above and beyond. We went in here this afternoon for some sinus headache meds, the cashier was extremely rude and I felt like she was talking down to me. She refused to take my coupon that I had gotten from the manufacturer for $2. I just wanted to go home and sleep, she kept repeating herself very loudly (I had a really bad sinus headache) as to why she couldn't take the coupon. I wasn't arguing with her at all, I just said "ok I understand". My husband paid so we could just hurry the transaction and we left... we won't be back to this location. read more

Went to the pharmacy to pick up my husbands prescriptions while he was at work. I went through the drive through. As I was driving off I realized they sold me a medication he no longer takes. I immediately parked and went to the counter (less then 60 seconds after purchase) and the pharmacist refused to take the medication back. Medication is still SEALED in a plastic deliver bag. She said it is against policy to take medication back once it leaves their hands. WTH $60 wasted for a medication I didn't ask for or want. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. They would always refuse to fill my prescription and would always want to go over the doctors orders. They also had a prescription ready for me and they would refuse to give it to me. The staff and pharmacist is rude. I've called this 24-hr Walgreens twice late at night, and the pharmacy staff have been really helpful. Both times they answered my question, but in order to make sure they were 100% accurate, they went and either checked with another person or looked at the shelf to make sure they had the product I was looking for. I called the pharmacy to get my prescription for my migraine meds transferred I was told it could take up to 2 hours for it to be filled after being transferred, waited 2 hours just to call and the transfer never actually happened or was processed and now they are worried the other pharmacy it was supposed to be transferred from is closed so I have to wait.... very frustrating. read more

If zero stars were an option believe me it would have been zero!! This store pharmacy has to be the worse! For 3 months in row I have tried to get prescriptions refilled, each time there is an issue. I end up waiting at least 5 days. If you make the mistake of calling and questioning staff, you are treated rudely and always there are excuses (never their fault!). Don't bother complaining to cooperate office. They could care less. They won't even return a phone call. This is the LAST time I will step foot in this Walgreens. read more

Complaining to customer service at the 800# is a waste of time, the follow up call has not happened despite 2 calls. If you are going through the 24 hour drive through be prepared to wait 30 minutes before they tell you they don't still have your medication and have lost the associated paperwork. read more

I am a regular CVS customer and the only reason I had to use Walgreen's Pharmacy today was because my daughter needed a medicine compounded into suspension form (liquid) - our CVS pharmacy does not compound medicine. She has Cystic Fibrosis and the medicines prescribed are pretty important and usually time restricted (meaning that upon diagnosis, she needs to start the meds within 12-24 hours). I am beside myself with the lack of professionalism and the sheer misrepresentation from this pharmacy. The prescription was put in early this morning at Walgreens - after complications yesterday with this medication at our CVS not being able to compound it - and the pharmacist on the phone said it would be started immediately. I receive text updates from Walgreens and around 2pm this afternoon I received a text stating the medication was ready for pick up. Due to other obligations, I wasn't able to pick up until 4:15pm but I was still within the 24 hour urgency window for my daughter. I arrived and was told that the medication was, in fact, not ready - and not even compounded. ON TOP OF THAT, apparently the compounding pharmacist was not coming in until 9pm. WHAT?!?! Why did I receive a message saying the medication was ready when it wasn't, and then why is there not a compounding pharmacist on staff during regular business hours? After I described the dire situation of my daughter's medical needs, I am told they'd have to send the rX to another pharmacy that had a CP on staff at the time. After several attempts to call, no one at that Walgreens picked up. I am left in the waiting area of this pharmacy crying. After a call made to my daughter's pulmonologist, she assures me that as long as my daughter gets a dose this evening, she would be ok - but if the CP doesn't arrive until 9pm, what is the likelihood that we'd receive the medication tonight rather than the pharmacy pushing the prescription to pick up tomorrow morning? I'm sure out of the embarrassment of having a customer crying and sincerely disappointed in their service, the head pharmacist says that although he is not a CP, he will compound the medication for me. He promises it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. Seems simple enough, right? Almost an HOUR later, I was still in Walgreens waiting for this medication. From 4:15pm to almost 6pm, I waited. This is completely unacceptable. I know I'm not the only one out there as a caregiver - and mother - to a child with a life-threatening disease. My time, and hers, is very important and I do not appreciate being lied to. Not only once, but twice. Walgreens - FIX your text alerts and only send a ready message IF and only IF the medication is in fact READY. Also, should you run into another similar situation such as mine, do not spout out the generic "wait time" if you're not 100% sure. I would not be nearly as upset had I not been lied to a second time. I would have gladly gone home and come back when the medication was truly ready. You can be sure that I will continue to use my CVS Pharmacy only... and should I have any other medications needing to be compounded in the future, I will not use Walgreens Pharmacy and will gladly drive ANY distance to another pharmacy to avoid this place. I feel sorry for anyone who has to use this Walgreens for filling their prescriptions. read more

I have normally used CVS in the past but since CVS closes their Rx area early so I have moved to Walgreens, they have a 24hr Rx. I have been to this Walgreens twice and each time I got in and out relatively quickly. Once was around 9pm and the other was at 4:30. Each time the staff took time to make sure I understood the meds and the instructions, and each time I was treated respectfully and professionally. I will absolutely continue to go here and would advise others that if you are complaining about the lack of technicians/staff perhaps you should ease up on your criticism of having to wait. I think they are doing the best they can, I'm sure they would appreciate some of those complaining to apply for a job to help them out instead of snapping their fingers demanding instant service. imo read more

This walgreens is in a bad location. High traffic area during rush hour and very hard to get in and out. Other than that the store is great.

Awful and unprofessional!! Pharmacist! called in prescription about 1 week ahead for hypertension meds. never received notice from Walgreens or my Dr. that anything was amiss. I have taken my last pill, and because our last pharmacy was only open till 9 I wrongly presumed the case here- my bad. anyway, 8 pm, I pull up to a 4 deep line, wait 5 minutes with no movement and go into store. only one lady in front of me. pharmacist is discussing issue with her, the assistant is watching this interaction , but not providing input... I wait another 5 minutes to be acknowledged by the staff. give my name. to be told meds were "declined" by Dr. no cant be I respond- i did not receive any notice. sorry nothing I can do is the response. I ask if they can provide an emergency supply, since this is for hypertension, and not supposed to miss a dose. No, it has been declined. I ask again as this happed another time when another dr was on vacation. the other pharmacy gave a 3 day supply. and again explained that I have no medication to take. I will pay for it, just something until I can call my dr in the am. she talks to the pharmacist, who never looks at my information and just says no, declined, nothing we can do. by then the pharmacist is discussing and taking care of all kinds of other issues and clearly has no time to give me an alternative. the assistant asks if I would like to speak to the pharmacists and explain the situation- yes i would , by now I am 25 minutes into this situation. pharmacist is doing everything she can to avoid discussing anything with me, and is clearly annoyed when she finally has time for me. I explain that yes i waited to long to pick up- but it was called in plenty of time, and NO One notified me there was a problem! can she give me at least 1 pill to take until I get to talk to the DR. she never acknowledges anything, says a word, and continues tying and ignoring me. she then goes to the back and is obviously discussing her frustration and annoyance with the 3 co workers that continue to shoot glances at me wondering if I can hear what is being said. pharmacist then practically throws a bag at me. I am in complete shock...over 1 emergency pill. the rudest, awful treatment. called Dr the next morning and she cannot believe that she only gave me 1 pill and that I had to BEG for it. she looked at the records and was declined due to dr being out- completely their mess up. Never again. i will be getting in contact with the Manager there as well. read more

I have no issue with the staff @ this location my individual experience's with them has been great. I do however believe that some process or staffing changes are in order. On multiple occasions I have come to this location for my pharmacy needs and the wait is atrocious. I understand that it takes awhile to fill perceptions but 45 mins to an hour in line is crazy, especially when all I'm doing is dropping off or picking up. There used to be two lanes @ this location but the closed the outside lane off. My suggestion is simple give people who are just dropping off or picking up a prescription that has been filled a priority line both inside and outside, post and enforce the rules for use. It would allow those that are willing/able to get their prescriptions at a later time to not be penalized waiting in line with those who require at there prescriptions to be filled while THEY wait. I think this is a reasonable and feasible thing to do. read more

Most inept late night staff of any I have ever dealt with. The times I have been there I have literally seen staff being very argumentative with customers and now they have completely lost my daughter's insurance card that she must have to see her Doctor. The pharmacist said she doesn't know what she did with the card and they cannot locate it so she now has to file with Lake Worth PD because somebody obviously has it if it cannot be found anywhere in the pharmacy as they claim! The person who took her info was a store manager not even a fully licensed pharmacy tech, but rather was one in training they said. The tech on day shift while trying to get some answers even told my daughter at one point well they are going to call and get you a new insurance card!! Ummm hello no you are NOT that would be fraud if you did in fact do that. WOW just WOW is all I can say. My daughter worked as a tech at CVS and NOBODY but licensed individuals should be handling her info. Not one bit of this is okay and I feel sorry for the day managers who are having to scramble to try to fix what their night staff screwed up. This is BAD not a minor little mistake, but an illegal and negligent mistake. Medical Identity Theft really sux when it happens by your own pharmacy that you entrusted with your private information. If I could rate Lake Worth pharmacy with negative star count I would. And the icing on the cake was when she had to call back up there to tell them that they screwed up and gave her double her prescription. Actually gave her TWO bottles of the same prescription and the tech had the nerve to ask her to bring one back. I have never heard of Walgreens paying for anyone's gas to drive back up to their store so yeah not happening. Such a sorry bunch up there really. DON'T trust them with your needs!! read more

I usually go to the pharmacy early, early in the morning or about 3pm, so the lines isn't long at all. I would go even if it was because they are all pretty busy. Ugh! The ONLY reason I went to this Walgreens is because they had my daughters medication that she regularly has to take. Our normal Walgreens never seems to have it. Today I went & dropped off 2 meds for an ear infection she has. They got them done BUT tried charging me when we have insurance! They only ran one & cashed out the other one. I called twice! First time I was hung up on before my call was even answered. Second time I waited roughly 20 minutes before my call was answered. The guy fixed the insurance issue thank goodness. Then I waited for almost 30 minutes at the drive thru window to pick up. Ugh! Hate having to use this Walgreens! read more

I drive past 5 other pharmacies to come back to this store to fill my medicines. The pharmacist knows me and my family by name and they are the staff is always so pleasant. It is a very busy store and some of these customers are so horrible to the workers. I saw one man just yelling and screaming like a tantrum to the pharmacist and she still stay calm. I tell them thank you for good service everytime and they don't deserve to be treated badly by some people. Of course expect to wait if you come at rush hour. That's why it's call rush hour! You go to the doctor office and wait right? Do you act like that there? So why treat these poor people so badly, I feel so bad for the staff dealing with rude customers like that all the time. read more
