You get a message your prescription is ready, you go and wait 45 mins in line just to get told it's not ready, they tell you it'll be ready in 30 mins so you go and come back and wait in line another 30 mins just for the idiot at the window double masking to say they can't find it. Wish it could be zero stars. The staff is awful. The checkout machines wasn't reading stuff right and they had a mad face for the inconvenience of their own machine. Kimberly and another lady that her name starts with G ( didn't get her full name) are the worst with attitude with helping any customer besides me. I'm gonna add to the extremely long list of one stars. This Pharamacy is awful. From not answering the phone ever, if there is an issue with your script, they won't call you, to over pricing, even when asked to use a discount card. They are still the MOST expensive one over everyone. And they don't care. The staff is awful, you wait in line for longest time and something is always wrong. Kroger in the same parking lot is 300% cheaper. They don't care. It doesn't take 2 days to fill something. Especially when it's and important one. Again they don't care of timing or cost. They will blame it on the system or someone/something else. Avoid at all cost!!! read more

1 star review because 0 isn't an option. This location has repetitively messed up orders. Including a VERY dangerous mixup of our child's med. They have been reprimanded by the board of pharmacy and continue to make errors. For your safety, if you must fill a Rx here, get exact details from your prescriber so you know what was ordered. My child would have been majorly overdosed had I not caught the "typo" when they switched from brand name to generic in their system. Today, they filled a 90 day supply prescription with only 30 days. And billed the insurance for 90 days. Again. This has happened several times and they refuse to educate their staff on filling meds correctly. read more

Do you enjoy constantly arguing with a pharmacist or tech to get your monthly medications? Then this is the place for you! Over the last two years, they gotten progressively worse. It started with getting notifications that's a Rx was ready, I'd show up and they would tell me it would be an hour. Because of those, I started calling 24 hours before I needed it, this didn't help. My veterinarian has had to argue with them repeatedly because my medical alert dog is on seizure medication, and they constantly tell me it cannot be filled yet. It's a controlled substance, but it's viscus and they give you a giant bottle where syringes cannot reach the bottom, so you have to pour it into something smaller, and those tiny bits wasted add up when the required dose is very small. The vet calls regularly to push through the Rx because without his meds, he could die. Seizure meds aren't something you can just stop for a few days while the pharmacy tries to sort things out. My physician called in a battery of antibiotics (3), when I went to pick it up, the tech said I had 2... I told her, "No, here's the list, you're missing one. Please double check". She got rude, told me I was wrong. Rang me out for two and I left. When I returned a week later, they told me I had a third available. All three of these were supposed to be taken together, and timing was important because I had MY bachelorette party coming up, and you cannot drink and be on antibiotics. Now I've come to find out that they have been overcharging me for my medications. I spoke with my insurance company and one Rx is supposed to come to $15 or less, they've been charging me $65/ month for this medication alone! I checked multiple times and they assured me they had my insurance on file (I've given it to them at least once a month since November, because it had been so expensive things seemed off). The last time I came here to pick up Rx's (one of which is a controlled substance, the person who rang me out, forgot to hand me the bag with mentioned controlled substance! This is concerning, I honestly don't think these people have any business handing medications. Problem is, they are the closest pharmacy that consistently has our medications in stock, looks like I'll just have to continue driving around town to multiple locations to get everything. I would leave NEGATIVE stars if possible. The head pharmacist has been in the 7220 Blue Mound location for 8 years and she never has a reason for why you script is on hold, why it isn't ready even after you get a notice it is, or who did it. She simply states she will "put a not to not do it again in the system". I have left and come back because insurance picks where you must get your RX. I will drive across town before using this or any other CVS at this point. read more

Just had another lousy experience at this pharmacy. I went to get my kids amoxicillin and I get home and it's nothing but powder. They did not mix it. I called the pharmacist and let them know it was just a powder. The guy on the phone said I could mix it myself at home. I asked him to walk me through it and he said " it's on the bottle". OK cool, but I'm no pharmacist and this is for my 18 month old and I don't wanna screw this up and overdose my child. Can you walk me through this? again he responds " it's on the bottle". Always seems to be issues with my prescriptions here. I submitted a refill request through the automated system and it said my prescription would be ready by 1pm. I show up after 1pm and wait in line for 20 min to be told my refill request was never received. I'm tired of something that should be a simple process always being stressful. I will start getting my prescriptions across the street at Kroger. Occasional issues I understand but the issues here are consistent. read more

It's the pits!! Up until last year, this was a pretty decent pharmacy, but over the previous year, I have had to make multiple trips to the pharmacy for maintenance prescriptions that they texted and told me was ready for pick up! Even when you call to verify, it's not prepared. Grrrrr!!!! I've made complaints to the store and the pharmacist on duty but have seen no improvement, so I'm spending my time waiting outside the store waiting for them to correct this once again, to warn you all to please find another pharmacy because this one isn't worth the hassle. read more

I just picked up my prescription from the pharmacy in Blue mound which was an elixir solution with instructions to take 5ml twice daily. You would think they would automatically include a measuring device to take the specific amount required, but no. I called back to make sure the instructions were correct and how I was suppose to take the medication. The pharmacy tech told me I could come all the way back up there to get one if I want or just Google the amount. REALLY so she wants me to take a guess with this prescribed meditation and risk a medication error. This is highly unprofessional and very inconvenient. 2022 still dealing with problems at this pharmacy the same problems I've had for the last year every single month. They say it's good to go and fixed. I come to pick up my prescription and damn they hit me with the same issue I had the previous month. I wish my insurance would let me go to Kroger across the street. After one or two times of the same mistake. Then maybe I would understand. But a year or more with the same issue it's starting to feel like straight negligence or on purpose. read more

In the beginning this location was really easy to work with. They were friendly. That has changed drastically. I'm constantly having to argue to get the correct medication, although they can clearly see the history. The pharmacist there is very unhelpful and rude. Just today Victoria answered the phone was pretty unhelpful and mid question she tells me "I have people waiting in the lobby" and puts me on hold. I waited an additional 9 minutes for her to again answer the phone and rudely ask me what I needed. I explained to her my question yet again and she exhaled as if it was an issue me verifying that it was correct. Surprise it was not. If I would've come to pick it up I would've again been shorted medication and had to either ration or fight with this location to get it corrected. There are a COUPLE techs who are awesome and do a great job, but the majority and the actual pharmacist are EXTREMELY incompetent. CVS cooperate needs to have a visit and audit this store and they will see all the problems. And a message for Victoria: if you do not like working at this location or you do not like working with the general public and all the problems that arise- LEAVE. I had an emergency prescription called in by my doctor yesterday. It wasn't ready at lunch I was assured it would be ready by evening. It was not. I called this morning they said 1 hour. I came in 4 hours later and it STILL wasn't ready. This was an EMERGENCY refill and they treated it like I was picking up vitamins. I will NEVER use this pharmacy again! Here I am have drastic effects from not being in my medication Express Scripts had mail delay and I've been waiting for 2 weeks. I told them this yesterday. Nobody cared. read more

In the last year this pharmacy has gone down hill very fast. I do not know what changed, but it needs to be fixed. Constantly out of medication. They say your pills are ready, yet when you get there you have to wait an hour. It has become a very stressful event to go get medication every month. Time to look elsewhere. Benjamin in the front store is amazing. He is consistently happy helpful and polite. He always remembers me by name.

What licensed Pharmacist dispenses an injectable medication with no way to give it? No syringe, no needle, no alcohol swabs, no sharps disposal - all prescribed by my doctor! They gave me the medication but told me they would have to order everything else and that would take about a week. Really? my dose was due the following day! I asked about getting it at a different CVS and they told me I couldn't do that. I ended up calling one while waiting for them to figure out the rest of my order (which was not ready even though I got a message that they were) and guess what? Picked up the syringes and everything else from the Pharmacy on Western Center. That process never changed for the next 3 months I tried to fill that medication. I should have moved after the second time it happened. There was always some excuse why my other prescriptions were never ready when they said they were. I don't remember ever having one good experience with this pharmacy (including the Manager)! read more

Due to recent health coverage changes I have to meet my deductible before insurance will pay anything toward my prescriptions. This location is compassionate about my high prescription cost. When calling about refills Michael recommended I check online for discounts. I was able to find a discount that will save me $330 for the rest of the year for one prescription. I am grateful for the advice. read more
