Walmart Supercenter, Saginaw
Bruce K.

Since I'm going to be in the car for a while, there are a few more things I need to be comfortable. I found plenty of decent stuff and most of it was in stock with different colors and sizes. I found a decent tshirt that will get worn tomorrow. They had a good selection of drinks including the specific flavor of Bubly that I like. Plenty of different jerky flavors, too. At the register, a short queue at the self checkout and none of the machines were down. Unusual. Overall, a good shop at Walmart. [Review 16101 overall - 281 in Texas - 1606 of 2021.]

Broken metal bracket

retired veteran limited income saved for 2 months to buy a watch called amazifit Gtr paid 179.00 my watch broke after 2 weeks I have contacted amazifit corp and when it broke the jeweler said it's not repairable and Walmart and amazifit corp should be ashamed to take anyone money for a shoddy product make less take it from a disable veteran

Dog bones, 3-pack, clearly advertised as $3.98

**********HONEST REVIEW********* If I could give this Walmart 0 stars, I would. Don't expect to be treated with respect or customer service at this store. The manager, Cindy, refused to honor a price that was advertised on the shelf for a product, even after showing her the advertised price. Her response to me was "I'm not honoring that price, it's more than half off" and "take it or leave it". Frankly, it doesn't matter how much the price difference is, the fact that the product is advertised at one price is MORE THAN ENOUGH evidence to allow the manager to adjust the product to that price. In the middle of this encounter, the cashier, Carol, thinks it is appropriate to blatantly laugh at the customer. When the manager told me "take it or leave it", Carol literally laughed out loud, because the manager wouldn't honor the price. If this is what Walmart calls good customer service, they should be ashamed. Cindy, the manager, has no business being a manager if she is going to treat customers with such rude behavior and disrespect. As for Carol, she should be written up for her behavior. Walmart, you need to step up the training you give your associates. I've never had such a negative experience like this in customer service, and I used to work as a cashier. I have attached the photo of the product that was advertised at a wrong price. It CLEARLY shows that Walmart should have honored the advertised price. Hopefully something is done to correct this wrong on Walmart's part.

I avoid Walmart at all costs and highly suggest WinCo. Better prices and not much further of a drive. Much friendlier staff as well.

Very good grocery store. We've recently shook up our grocery practices, having been in a sort of…read moreKrogers trance for a decade or so, going out of habit to the one near us since it was new. But it's been in steep decline and with the arrival of HEB to the area, we woke up and are examining the grocery landscape we've been blind to. We since have been coming here and we are very pleased! For starters, this place looks immaculate, totally spotless, so orderly and neat it's amazing. We even said "this place is roughy the same age as the Kroger up the road and this proves Kroger has no excuse to look so dilapidated, when THIS is possible in roughly the same area". It's so orderly, I couldn't help but even straighten up the voids I made in the products as we shopped like I worked there! Haa! I just respected it, you know? Anyway, the prices are on average a bit lower too, some by a lot! I believe the reason is they don't dabble in the annoying point system or the apps to try to hook shoppers into a "marriage" of sorts the way everyone does these days. To not even try to game shopper's behavior or try to track them at all they don't have to invest in it, so everything is straightforward and they have a lower overhead. I LOVE it. I'm done with having Kroger hook me into buying gas from them in a loop of trying to get the most out of points nonsense. Winco is the simple old way and I've missed it (and a little annoyed at myself for missing out all these years, but no more)! The checkout is great, staffed far more "human" than Krogers, and even have the choice in paper/plastic to optimize your sacking. The employees straight-up seem frankly happier to be there, and authentically, not robotically acting out a script. A nice bunch. They surely must be to actually try as hard as they do and it shows by just looking around. I could go on and on, we were very analytical about our "change-over" and we doubtless will be checking out HEB when they finally open, but regardless how good they are too, Winco has TOTALLY won us over and we will be coming back here regularly for good! Thanks, Winco!

I recommend their guacamole, pico de gallo, limes and watermelon. They all taste fresh, juicy and flavorful. Though there are usually a lot of people there, you have plenty of space to shop. The prices at Albertson's are reasonable and they have plenty of options for produce. I also like that they have a decent selection of flowers, including sunflowers. I'm grateful for a local Albertson's and look forward to returning. The staff range from reserved to friendly.

While I was at the customer service desk being helped by a supervisor, a cart employee approached and asked if "Jay" could be paged because a customer needed assistance at self-checkout. The supervisor responded, "They're fine. They can wait. If they wanted help, they would go to a cashier." The employee seemed confused and politely asked again if Jay could be paged. The supervisor refused and repeated that customers could either wait or help themselves because "it's called self-checkout." What bothered me most wasn't just the refusal to help, but it was the attitude. As a supervisor, he should be setting an example for employees, not dismissing customer needs or speaking to staff in a condescending manner. Hearing a supervisor openly suggest that customers should simply wait instead of receiving assistance reflects poorly on the level of service customers can expect. I attempted to call the store afterward to share my concerns with a store manager, but after being transferred, the phone rang for an extended period before disconnecting. This is the first negative experience I've witnessed at this location, and I truly hope this supervisor's approach to customer service is not representative of the store as a whole. The rest of the staff has always been helpful, which is why this interaction was so disappointing.

Their employees doing the traditional checkout are usually overwhelmed having to also bag. 2. Produce is often molded at least every visit I'll find something molded. 3. Their yogurt fridge has had mold inside. Reported it and it looked cleaned but not fully removed. Potential hazard to health for those with mold exposure. 4. Bathrooms are disgusting and vile! They ddmell like urine and feces. They appear to not be cleaned on a regular basis. As a matter of fact, they look as though they haven't been cleaned for months! Recently, reported it to their store manager Americas and he said he would address it but he thought they were cleaned daily. He apparently doesn't go in the bathrooms... ever! Pros 1. Always stocked with excellent choices. 2. Meat department I'd say is top quality in keeping up with demand, quality and appearance. 3. Deli department is next up with great employees, quick service and excellent selection. Overall this store appears it needs a good scrub down. But has everything you need. I don't believe we as consumers should accept mediocre quality. This store makes enough money to keep up with cleanliness. So I believe it's a management/employee issue. Do better Kroger!

Normally when I get the cheese from the deli, the person behind the counter will separate the layers so the cheese doesn't stick and come out in pieces. The woman back there this time didn't and by the time she had put it on the scale, it was too late to ask for them to be separated. She was friendly but I wasn't too happy about the cheese being all together. Shelves were stocked ok. This is the 3rd visit I've done were my Vanilla Waffle Cone Community Coffee wasn't there. Albertsons is just about the only place that carries this particular one. There was a sign for it but there was a caramel one that didn't have a price tag and I really.hope that one isn't replacing the one I like. A couple of the freezer areas had lights out on them and didn't want to open and shut doors just to see what was in them and let all the cold air out. Also the Fresh Pet I normally get was out. I normally get a 4 pound bag and just like my coffee, they have been out the last few times I've come in to get but boy did they have a bunch of the smaller bags. Those cost more to equal that weight and there sure was a tone of them. The big reason for my 1 star review is because of the bathrooms. I always try to avoid the bathrooms at this place because they tend to be gross. This time I couldn't wait to get home and had to use them. The door had Mark's of something all over the base. Base boards were gross and there waa toilet paper scattered around. All the stuff I mention is just from someone choosing to be lazy and not clean properly. Makes me wonder what the storage area looks like. I would like to keep coming to this one for convince, but I believe I will start going to the one in White Settlemnt because I know that one is always clean. Also the people watching the self checkout area were standing in the way. They were standing where you normally wait for a lane to open. Wearing a jacket, I couldn't see the Albertsons shift so I waited because I thought they were a customer. I had to ask if they were waiting because a lane opened but they didn't say you could go to that one. Just kinda looked over at me and said I work here. Hmmmmm. That's not the way you treat a customer. I understand they need to watch everyone, not from where they were standing. I was not thrilled with my visit and like I said, I thinknid tlrather drive a few more miles down the road to a different location.
