I recently went in to purchase (wing and a prayer) lottery tickets like I occasionally do. Since they are a Placer County business and it is my regular place, I always go there so that when I win (someday) the business will benefit as well! It had been a long week and a long work day and I was not paying my usual, careful, OCD self attention. I purchased, left money and walked out. I was in my car getting ready to leave when the manager, Charity, came out and approached me. Jacob (who was very nice) was assisting me inside and Charity had come over to assist him. When I left I walked out without change (a decent amount). Together Charity (along with Jacob) ensured I got that sorted before I left. I want to commend both Charity & Jacob who are already friendly, polite and helpful. They are also, clearly, honest as the day is long. This was one of those moments in life which helped reinforce the goodness of people.
