This was the worst experience I've ever had with CVS. I had an 11 AM vaccine appointment at the Rialto location, and when I showed up the doors were locked with only a handwritten sign saying the system was down. Nobody bothered to call or notify me even though I had a confirmed appointment. I then drove to the Fontana CVS, where I sat for over an hour while they went in circles because Rialto hadn't canceled the appointment properly in their system. The pharmacist clearly didn't care, and the only person who even tried to help was the lady at the counter--but nothing got resolved. After wasting hours of my Saturday, I left and went to Walgreens, where they had no problem helping me right away. CVS completely dropped the ball here. Zero communication, zero accountability, and terrible customer service. read more

The worse place to have your physician call in your prescription . You can never speak to anyone in the pharmacy. It only lets you leave a message. And it says someone will call you back within an hour. That's a lie. My doctor office has left two messages on two different day. I was able to get to talk to someone after calling 20 times. They were able to tell me they couldn't take my prescription but haven't called my doctor's office to let them know. It's not hard to call an office back. read more

I've been going here for over a year to pick up prescriptions and and to get immunizations. I pick up prescriptions for up to 5 people at a time and they are efficient and accurate and are always willing to answer any questions we might have or details we need clarified. Has very poor customer service relationships. Actually, they have none made a Covid appointment online which was accepted and confirmed and 10 minutes later was canceled. I called the pharmacy which will not accept calls, but you can leave a message and they assure you they will return the call in an hour which they did not, I checked their website and had availability for a Covid appointment which I made and again they canceled with no explanation and no way of trying to reach them. I don't know about everyone else's experience here but as for mine, it was quite pleasant. I was able to find what I needed and some of what I wanted. As for the customer service aspect, I get it, it can be tiring, but with the right attitude, demeanor and understanding you could get the help like I did. As a result, their moral kind of boosted up when I showed empathy towards them even though I had a crazy day as well. Anyway my main point is that I'll keep coming here for my own personal reasons. Let's just start with the fact that I drove around the city of San Bernardino and Rialto for over an hour finding graduation balloons and a place that has helium. I didnt know there was any such thing as a helium shortage. We called CVS and they in fact had both ballons and helium. We asked if we could bring in our own to which she said they had to be from the store. So we bought a package of latex balloons and a couple mylar balloons, Amber the girl working the front was so helpful and considerate of the situation. Honestly great customer service! This is the worst pharmacy around. I've been going here for years because it's down the street from my house but in the last six months it has gotten bad. I switched all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy and not only were they cheaper, they were ready when I went to pick them up! This pharmacy won't even start your prescription till you come in, regardless if your doctor calls it in or you have auto refill. It's awful. I wrote this as I was sitting, waiting for them to fill a prescription that was called in at 3pm and wasn't ready when I came in at 9pm. The absolute worst customer service ever. If this place burned to the ground tomorrow, I wouldn't be sad. read more

I prefer the other drugstore/market across the street from this one but since this is easy to get to and leave (mellow parking lot, 3 right hand turns from my house) I end up here a lot. They have all the typical stuff you'd expect at one of these stores at very high prices, but if you walk all the aisles you can find some stuff way marked down, 75% off (especially makeup!). Be prepared to WAIT. There is always only one (or none until they notice you) clerk at the counter and usually a line with each person spending about 3-5 minutes at the counter. Other CVS stores don't seem to have this issue but for years I have always stood there for a very long time waiting to pay. It's never a quick in and out. There was a guy (haven't seen him in awhile) who worked there, long dark hair, who was super friendly, the other staff seems depressed or upset all the time. The rockabilly looking employee is a total downer. I've seen him be a flat out jerk to some customers, granted they were difficult customers but there is a tactful and professional way to handle it and he does not do that. So, this store serves its purpose but is not a pleasant experience. read more

My experience has been waiting on the telephone for up to 32 minutes before anyone picks up. A Technician placing me on hold during a conversation, without advising me I would be put on hold. Medications not ready for pick-up within a reasonable time, causing a delay of service, not promoting a healthy status without meds prescribed. Technician's are not familiar with the generic or brand names of the drugs. They ask you what medications you are waiting for. Messages to alert you that medications for pick-up is not always consistent. Refusal to telephone customer service to receive the information required to process the cost of drugs. Not always a friendly and welcoming smile. Waited 6 days for a medication which was not ready for pick up. Had to walk in and provide them the name of the drug, then asked me to wait until they packaged the drug. Again, a delay of service provides a delay in one taking the medication as prescribed. Will attempt to use another pharmacy. I cannot say that I have ever had such issues with another pharmacy. read more

Worse than sucks! My wife came in to fill a prescription. She got into an embarrassing situation when the Pharmacist declared that our pharmaceutical insurance was expired. I called an Aetna rep, to clarify. Aetna did not even show an inquiry on our account. While on the call, I conferenced my wife in. The Pharmacist refused to talk to us on the phone and required the Aetna rep to call their line. Sure enough, the insurance was confirmed to be in effect. Clearly the incompetence caused my wife's embarrassment and no apology was offered. read more

My gosh they have so many bad reviews I wonder if they are aware of this, how bad they attend customers and how rude and ignorant they are with them. I have been coming here for years since childhood and I have never had so many problems like I have been for this last year. Well I guess my experience was not unique. I called to ask about getting a prescription filled and the rude employee was quite possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a pharmacy. She claimed her name was "Shula" and she has inspired me to never give a CVS my money again. I have been going to my local CVS for years, but luckily I did not have to see this employee in person at this location. I was surprised, but looking at the other reveiws, it seems to be the norm. I'm giving 3 stars only because it seems to be getting better. I started going here in April and every time it's a battle and an argument. I've been told one thing only to come in and it's totally different or flat wasn't done at all. I've considered going to a cvs further away even.
