This is a fairly new CVS built in 2009 so it is well laid out, clean and organized. The store has a full liquor and beer section, a Pharmacy, basic household supplies (toilet paper, some groceries, cleaning supplies, etc.) and runs some pretty good specials if you sign up for the CVS Card. The parking lot is very well laid out with two entrance/exit areas and plenty of parking spots.
I lived in the area when they built the CVS so it was interesting to see it go up and nice to have an option other than Walmart for small things or medications. The only reason I did not rate the location higher is the Pharmacy has made mistakes multiple times. My girlfriend at the time was sick in bed and her doctor called in a prescription with instructions that I was authorized to pick it up for her since she was sick.
I went to pickup the medication in the drive through on my way to a meeting and ended up sitting in the drive through (no other cars) waiting for the lady at the window to figure out what she was doing for almost 20 minutes. Eventually I just drove away because I was now late to my meeting. When I came back to try again I was stopped by the store security and told the lady at the Pharmacy would not give us the medication until the doctor called in another prescription because I drove away earlier. It took another day to finally get her medication, another call to the doctor office and another trip back to CVS to wait once again.
Overall the location is clean, well organized, well supplied and has everything you would expect from CVS. The Pharmacy issues may be from a new staff since it was a new location but I will never know since I switched to the Walgreens across the street although I prefer the CVS store part better. CVS and Walgreens are a little more expensive than Walmart but the quality of people is better, it is usually faster to get in and out and they are always closer to home. read more
