The last prescription I attempted to pick up required FIVE separate trips to the pharmacy, and I still could not receive my medication in a reasonable timeframe. * First trip: the computers were down. * Second trip: the medication was out of stock. * Third trip: I waited during my lunch break for 45 minutes before having to leave to get back to work. * Fourth trip: the pharmacy was unexpectedly closed with no clear explanation. * Fifth trip: so much time had passed trying to retrieve the prescription that the medication had been returned to stock. Unfortunately, it did not stop there. On May 4th, I ordered a med for shipping/delivery specifically to avoid dealing with the constant issues at the local pharmacy. The order never arrived. When I finally checked on the status, I was told the order had been CANCELLED. No reason was given, and I was NEVER notified that it had been cancelled. I spent all that time waiting on an important medical prescription without any communication whatsoever. This is not just frustrating -- it is concerning. People depend on pharmacies for essential medications. Elderly patients, children, working individuals, and people managing chronic conditions should not have to repeatedly miss work, drive back and forth multiple times, or go without necessary medication because of disorganization, staffing problems, poor communication, or inventory issues. A pharmacy is not just another retail store. Reliable access to medication matters. At this point, I no longer trust Walgreens to consistently provide dependable pharmacy service, which is incredibly disappointing considering how important these services are for patients and families.

Filling prescriptions can be a pain in the neck - waiting in long lines with technicians who aren't excited to be there providing less than informative information about the medication you're about to put in your body. Not the case at Carondelet. Staff members here take time to meet with you and ask if you have any questions. Lines are uncommon here and a prescription electronically sent from your doctor can sometimes be picked up in less than 10 minutes. I don't have definitive proof, but in some cases Carondelet prices on prescribed drugs are cheaper than chain pharmacies around the metro. Support this small business on the ground floor of the Medical Mall at St. Joe. They are friendly, fast, and informative.

They can NEVER get my name right. I pulled up at 815pm to be waited on at 830pm and was told they are behind and the prescription wasn't ready. I told them my doctor called it in around 1pm. He said they are short staffed, giving Covid shots and backed up in drive through and on the inside. ‍ I am going to ask if they could use some part time help.

The power hungry women was rude and decided for her own reason to deny an exchange or refund to a gift card. I visited the target store closest to me and they gladly gave me a refund on a card.
