Prices here are a little high compared to what I'm used to seeing but when there's a special on a certain item that's over in Clearance, it's truly at a great price. Please check that the item matches up with the price when you check out because I had a minor issue the prices being charged at the original price but not at the this kind of price upon checking out. Thankfully the staff was able to rectify that situation. Staff here was also truly friendly as well. I do enjoy that there's not too many people here as well. The strip mall has plenty of parking so there should never be an issue when it comes to finding a spot. Even cooler is that there's a vegan restaurant across the street and they sell some of their food here at the health food store it's inside one of the fridges by the checkout. Not a place for a CostCo type of run, but more for niche local items. My favorite and my frequent purchase here? Their coffee. More specifically, their Oddly Correct and Thou Mayest beans. It's nice to splurge on the good stuff every so often, and also nice to gift these beans to coffee lovers around the holidays. From what I can tell on a recent visit, they've scrapped their bulk buy items which is honestly a good call. I had freshness issues with both their oats and popcorn in the past. If memory serves me correctly this used to be an old berbiglia spot. Just thinking about those stores takes me back to my early 20s and thinking about how much KC has changed in a decade. At any rate, I pulled over, dodged some rain, and came inside. Now, anyone who remembers Berbiglias in KC might remember them as I do - kind of basic, a bit dirty, and the kind of place that you just kind of tolerated. I mean, I was in my twenties so I didn't know liquor stores could be nice and have variety, but now I do, and boy was I glad when I walked in the doors and found out that this newly redone Plaza Liquor is NICE. Not only is the interior nice, the folks working are super friendly, and they have an incredible selection. I found some craft beers from STL that my husband hadn't been able to find in a long time at liquor stores closer to our house, and they of course carried a good variety of wine and liquor as well.
