This CVS is abysmal. I had a prescription for a controlled substance, and this CVS could not appropriately handle it. I have prescriptions lost, pharmacy techs whose behavior is best described as "bullying a la Mean Girls", and been refused the 2nd half of a partial fill. Worst pharmacy experience ever. Wife was in drive through line to pick up my prescription at 6:35 pm tonight. Pharmacy closes at 7 pm and only the drive through was open. Nine cars in front of her. 7:03 pm she was next in line to the window and they closed the window. There were still 10 more cars behind her. She talked to the manager who admitted they knew there was a line and said "oh yeah, I guess we should let the other cars know." Poor customer service and complete lack of respect for others. Will not be going back to the Phoenixville PA CVS on Schuylkill Rd ever again and will avoid CVS in the future. read more

a few years ago I switched this this CVS to the rite aid that used to be nearly because the pharmacist was rude. I ended up switching back in the past year because rite aid suddenly refused to fill my meds and giant didnt take medicaid and i had just gotten the insurance. I called CVS in a panic and they told me bring it there. They filled it. Ever since, every single pharmacist that is there now has worked with me on any problem I have had and given past experiences I am truly grateful for them. Since the rite aid is gone they deal with an insane volume so while its annoying I can never reach them on the phone, I just go in and they fix whatever the problem is. Yes, its time consuming but totally worth the service in the end. I dont know what has gotten so complicated these past years with this industry but these particular pharmacists you have at this particular CVS are going above and beyond given the stress and volume they are under to get people the medications their DOCTORS are prescribing. Closes at 5pm and I was a couple minutes before that. They had just filled another prescription as I pulled up and they closed the gate and used the speaker to tell me they were closed. I told them it wasn't 5pm yet and they said "nothing I can do. We already shut the system down". Terrible service. Could have spent another minute just getting the medicine I needed. I've recently had to start going to a pharmacy more often and I have to say this place is awesome! I was in retail management for more than 20 years and the service here is outstanding. I wanted to highlight the pharmacist that helped me today. I didn't catch her name, but she jumped right in, got my script and rang me up. I mentioned that pharmacists don't normally take care of customers like the way she was doing, she said it's a Friday night, we're busy and we are a team. Way to be a leader! This pharmacy has gone downhill since I moved to Phoenixville 12 years ago. The staff are rude, store is consistently poorly stocked/organized, and the pharmacy is unhelpful. I stopped in today at 5:01 to pick up a prescription for gout (which is extremely painful). The cashier told me he was closing out the last transaction with the gentleman in front of me (the pharmacist watched the interaction and reiterated they were closing). I apologized for being late and explained the medication was URGENT and called in by Teladoc, I was in extreme pain. He refused to budge. I'm still in complete shock he would not release my prescription to me knowing I was in such pain! What kind of moral character does someone like that have? read more

We needed a specific medication equipment and I suggested to use the cvs pharmacy over giant to my doctor to see if they carried it. The order was put in and it took a few days and a staff person at cvs called me to advise it would be difficult to get but they would try to get the item by the following week. I received a call the following week that it was ready for pick up. I was happy the staff person kept in communication with me and I did not mind waiting over a week for it. I went through drive thru to pick up my item because I had my young children with me. The line was extremely long, they were doing covid testing as well. I finally was able to get to the window and the woman handling covid testing was also dispersing medication. It did not seem very safe to me? I would think there should be one person dealing with testing and one for medication. The woman at the window was very rude and I had a question and she did not give a flying saucer about it. She just gave me a fake apology and wanted me gone, I was frustrated because I wanted to make sure what I was receiving was correct and properly run through my insurance. I get home and look at the packaging to see it was not run through insurance and I had to call and speak with the pharmacist to get proper answers. The pharmacist was kind and tried to get to the bottom of my issue, but she advised the staff person was rude because she was busy with covid testing? She suggested I come inside next time. I will not be returning and will work with GiantPharmacy from here on out. It was not worth this headache. read more

This is THE WORST CVS I've ever been in. There is like 8-9 people working in the pharmacy at any one time, and it still takes 2-3 hours to get a prescription filled. I have been taking the same meds for years. I get them here every single month, on the same date, and they never have it in stock. "Oh we have to order it for next week", we will call when it's in. But that never happens. I have to call again and say " you told me they would be ready on Tuesday, it's Friday and I never heard from you, it's been a week...." Oh okay we will get it ready for you". It's not like it's simple to call the pharmacy to get these problems straightened out. It takes an average of 20 mins to get someone on the pbone, if you're lucky. I've been hung up on, repeatedly. And the staff for the most part is RUDE. Extremely rude. Now they have another new pharmacist, an oriental guy, he's not only rude, but has no clue what he's doing. I've had it with CVS. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Anywhere else. Giant across the street is great. So is Acme. read more

I previously had a negative experience at this Cvs after I purchased an air freshener which smelled like bubblegum and made my car smell worse then it already did, but after I recently attended I received such good customer service I sat in my car after the experience I'm stunned silence. This CVS is conveniently located next to a Wawa and thus has plenty of parking. They also have drive thru service for picking up prescriptions. I've always had good service there. Good selection of greeting cards and snacks. The CVS app works well too. read more

First I will say the pharmacy staff are incredibly kind and patient. They have been nothing but nice as I and many others have admittedly been short with them. This review is more about the pharmacy itself. The way the pharmacy and customer area is set up is not appropriate. There is nowhere for people to stand in line so everyone is stuffed into an aisle that other people are shopping in. There is a literal manikin for adult pull ups in this area but no place for a proper pharmacy line. No wonder everyone is in a bad mood. The vaccine clinic in the corner next to the pharmacy shielded by the most makeshift barrage. There are so many products unrelated to the pharmacy in this one congested area, it makes it seem so obvious that all CVS cares about is sales, not customer comfort. The only reason I gave more than 1 star is because of the staff who politely and genially communicate with each and every customer. read more

This review excludes the pharmacy. Service is always well-intentioned but usually slow. At night there are seldom cashiers at check-out forcing you to ring the bell. Last night staff was running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to multitask. It's a sad indictment on CVS corporate. Because CVS like every other chain drugstore is ridiculously overpriced, I only go when there's a sale on something I'm looking for (I'm a rewards club member). From what I can see, their sale price is equivalent to the everyday price at a grocery store for the same product. Also, count on them for being out of the products you want. If my employer didn't make me use this pharmacy I would go anywhere else. The pharmacist is such a jerk. First he tells me they don't have my prescription that my doc just called in. Then after I confirm with the doc and go back and explain again he makes me go to another window five feet away to tell them the same thing and of course they miraculously have had it the entire last hour while I drove around to every other cvs in the area. I guess his Maserati isn't enough to motivate him to not be such an asshole to customers. 6/3/16. Cvs Phoenixville incompetence continues. Don't bother to tell me that my prescription can't be refilled until I have to call them of course after my doctor has left for the week and I can't get my meds until who knows when. When I called to complain and get it corrected, the person I spoke to immediately copped an attitude, including telling me that I had called multiple times before and she was tired of explaining this to me. I scheduled a Covid-19 test for 3:50 and I showed up at 3:40, waited on line for an hour, and as soon as I got to the window they told me the providing doctor cancelled the remaining tests for the day. Granted it was out of their control but they didn't even offer to reschedule me right there for another time. They shrugged their shoulders and said "You can go online to reschedule" and didn't apologize. I sat there crying for a minute and then left. I've never had such an awful experience. The Pharmacy Manager (Kathleen Wnuk) is hostile as well as most the employees in pharmacy ..especially the greened haired one. Other employees in pharmacy are being bullied by the Pharmacy Manager to the point where we apologized to the woman ringing us up. Additionally, the Pharmacy Manager is completely incompetent and on top of yelling at us, she gave us inaccurate information on medication. The entire environment is unprofessional and completely unfriendly to customers. The lady manager they have there is horrible. I asked for a cvs card and was questioned on why I was acquiring another one. not that it's any of HER business but the card is lost and the email that was associated with the card is inactive due to me switching email accounts. Also she tends to get very angry when we use the store coupons and manufacturer coupons. Even though there was no one behind me in line. She is just plain rude and has no sense of being a customer service manager. Also the bald pharmacist that works on Saturday morning refused to fill my prescription. Now let me explain. Accidents happen.... In this case my medication bottle dropped in snow when I slipped while trying to get ice off of my car. I went to my see my doctor and got a written script. I dropped it off and one of the techs said it would not be a problem. 3 days later I go back to pick up my prescription and was told HE could not fill it. Even though I had explained to him the circumstances. This is a script from my doctor, signed and delivered. And I was paying out of pocket since I don't have insurance so that was not the problem. On top of that, I did not receive even a phone call from CVS to let me know what was going on. They just ignored that part and figured I would just find out on my own. Needless to say I have been with this CVS store in Phoenixvile, PA for 3.5 years and now they have lost my business to rite aide which gave me no problems at all. After waiting inside 1hr 30 min for my prescription, they gave me the wrong prescription and I had to wait another 20 min. Just went shopping to CVS Phoenixville, I patiently waited on line and after 3 people checked out it was my turn. I was getting some of the weekly deals and of course had some coupons for my transactions. The guy who was at the register (tall guy with a big beard, didn't had a name tag on him, blue Polo shirt); was VERY ANNOYED that I have coupons and that I split my transactions in 2, he was very RUDE and even said the F word when I gave him my coupons. The coupons weren't scanning right so he had to do it manually... because he was upset he missed some of the coupons and there not showing on my receipt. The last transaction I want it to make was for some Ardell lashes, because I have a date tonight with my husband, we're celebrating our anniversary; WELL HE SAY IF YOU'RE MAKING ANOTHER TRANSACTION YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE END OF THE LINE AND WAIT FOR YOUR TURN AGAIN BECAUSE I HAVE SOME PEOPLE WAITING... WHAT?????? I left them at the register and walk out to call my Uber!! I think if the deals and coupons are available I'm not doing anything wrong by use them. I always seem to have a need to go to cvs and this location is so convenient. Unfortunately I can only shop there, not get my prescriptions there. The employees are so nice and helpful. I always have a great check out experience. However...the pharmacy is a different story. The pharmacists are so rude and make it seem like you are a bother to them even though it is their job to help. They have no people skills and always talk down to you. This has happened to me multiple times now. I refuse to fill any more prescriptions there. I refuse to continue getting disrespected by a pharmacist who dresses outrageous and has multi colored hair. I will go to another pharmacy from now on where I will be treated respectfully and have someone dressed and acting like a professional. Cvs you should really think about who you hire and reevaluate your pharmacists as well as their morale. Please hire pharmacists with better knowledge, professionalism, and common courtesy. read more
