Do not buy gift cards from CVS. They sold us a $100 card to Lululemon and when we went to use it the card showed a zero balance. Neither CVS or Lululemon would refund us for our purchase. Basically robbed with zero accountability.I will never shop there again. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is hands down the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. Extremely unhelpful. Cannot get through to anyone on the phone, and when you do they place you on hold for over 30 minutes. My husband had to drive to the pharmacy just to speak with someone, and was treated like an inconvenience by Dennis the pharmacist. I was picking up a prescription today and was met with this incompetent lady who had no clue what she was doing or how to do her job. I went to the counter after already waiting a significant amount of time she then asked for my birthday NOT ONCE NOT TWICE BUT FIVE TIMES and then asked for my NAME THREE TIMES then she had the AUDACITY TO TELL ME I SAID MY OWN BIRTHDAY WRONG ?!?!? AS IF I DONT KNOW MY OWN BIRTHDAY. She then walked away RUDELY And dug around in a ccs bin looking for my prescription because she had no idea where anything was.the after that she messed up my insurance so i had to be assisted by the pharmacist after moving windows and waiting some more. Due to this woman's INCOMPETENCE AT HER JOB medicine had to be got again and the right insurance charged. I finally left after paying. This five star review is not for my overall opinion of this CVS pharmacy, but for the experience I had today, which was in pleasant contrast to my past encounters. The line moved quickly, and the man who located my prescription for me was calm, quick, efficient, and polite. I try not to be the kind of person who only leaves a review when I'm dissatisfied, so I try to take the time to share positives as well as negatives. Disgusting store should be torn down. CVS is a terribly managed company. Amazon will wipe them out. The company is trying to be a 1-stop HC provider. they own a PBM, they bought Aetna....they have massive debt. they run the stores cheaply. The help is overwhelmed. The systems are poorly integrated. Avoid! Walgreen's is no great shakes either but the NC location for Walgreen's is easier to shop. Too bad the local pharmacies (Lang's) are all gone. In 5 years, CVS will be gone too. read more

the staff of this pharmacy continues to be one of most unpleasant staffs I have encounter in retail business. the act like they are doing you a favor if you need anything other than filling a Rx. if you call, it either rings without being answered or your put on hold until you abandon the call. when Jason, the pharmacist, was there service was fine. But, he was followed b Brian, who was rude and disrespectful to many customers. Yes, sometimes there are lines. However, Jason, head pharmacist has been so wonderful over the last 10 years we've gone and occasionally had to fill a prescription. Even if they didn't have the full amount of tablets, he's given us a few to help with infections, immediate needs and made sure he had the balance ready the next day. They've been really helpful when we've had questions, and we have enjoyed the local/personal service this CVS pharmacy has provided to our family. Hate to see all the negative reviews. Most pharmacies have long waits, b/c unfortunately, there are too many people on prescription meds - but if you call ahead, ask for help -- we've found that this CVS team will go above and beyond to assist their customers! read more

The CVS pharmacy manager was rude and insulting. First, they said I would have my medication in 24 hours. Then they said it would take another 8 hours for a special order. So I called the next day and no one answered the phone for 40 minutes. I had to go to the Park Street CVS store to find out more information. The pharmacy manager was so rude, I couldn't believe it. He said he always answers the phone, but he's lying for sure. He was actually yelling at me and complaining how busy he was "doing his job." What a mess up they made of my prescription. I don't think they special ordered it at all. I actually went to Walgreens and asked them to fill my prescription and could they call CVS to get the doctor's script but Walgreens said "CVS doesn't answer their phone." So, CVS has a reputation for letting callers just stay in the "loop" endlessly. I'm going to change to Walgreens. The Walgreens pharmacy is professional, courteous, and competent and I've never had a problem there. CVS has no concern for their customers, and could care less about filling a prescription for a patient. Shame on CVS. read more

DO NOT GO TO THE PHARMACY HERE!!!! Go to Walgreens on Pine Street in New Canaan instead. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Every single time I go they either forget to give me one of my prescriptions or forget to put my insurance in and tell me these crazy prices I have to pay when in reality the insurance makes it free. Unfortunately my insurance only allows me to get my reoccurring prescriptions from CVS and not Walgreens, which is why I SADLY have to go here. The pharmacists are the worst pharmacists I have met in my entire life-- and that's saying something considering I've met MANY. I agree that the Pharmacy service is very slow. What troubles me most is they asked for highly sensitive info like your birthday, phone number, address, and even medical condition that I would only discuss behind doors with my primary care IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. They asked these info when you drop off the prescription and again when you pick them up. At one visit, I memorized 2 guys who were in front of me, their birthday and phone numbers. This cannot be legal. Good thing is that I complained to a manager and told him I would only present my driving license for those appropriate questions and he was OK but didn't sound happy about it. I encourage whoever read this do the same. We don't want to risk Identity theft by picking up our prescription, where in worst case when they repeat your info loud and clear in front of other customers when you're trying to speak softly and quietly with the info. I'm rating 2 stars because he's willing to take the info thru the driving license which was how it was handled in the past. Otherwise I won't even give one star and have my prescription transferred to another pharmacy. read more

Instead of transferring a prescription to another pharmacy they deleted it from my prescription history and denied ever having the refill. I saw it on my account and stupidly didn't screenshot it as proof. Now I have to explain to my doctor why although they called a refill in 5 days ago, I need another already.
