I came to this shopping center for SF Supermarket, but was happy to know that CVS was also here. I have a Medicare Part C insurance plan with a benefit for vitamins, etc. This store has a selection of Nature Made vitamins which fit the plan and some other items. You have to look below the gummies to find what they were making just a few years ago--those vitamins with the strength that the gummy versions don't have. The cashier was going to lunch but she informed one of her co-workers--how thoughtful! They were efficient and friendly. read more

After I posted that review about CVS I went down there cuz I wasn't going to be treated like that and a pharmacy tech helped me. The pharmacy tech checked if my insurance would cover another box right now which it wouldn't but they were able. She was able to get me another box with a coupon attached so I didn't have to pay so much and she was more than helpful to me. Nothing is amazing about this location in regards to design. However for the most part the employees are amazing. You may ask what could be improved , well it would be returning to the Longs value. However I must say the employees are great. read more

While I was in the store a young lady between 10-13 had collapsed and lost consciousness. I was in line to check out and some employees were chattering about the incident, when one of the managers said, "the way she was laying there she seemed a lot older!" I had to call her out... what?? I recently visit this store to buy cough medicine. As I approached the counter to pay the clerk was having a lady open her purse so she could check it. You could see how embarrassed the lady was.Finding nothing the mean spirited clerk turned to us. She told me the medicine would be $18. I told her the sign said was $11. She asked me for my phone number. She stated we were not listed and had to pay full price. I haven't met anybody so mean spirited.I think stores like this deserve to go out business read more

Very rude pharmacy personal. They cut you off when trying to ask questions over the phone. This is not the first time either. So so rude.

Cashier was a very nice lady, had a customer talking to her and her manager repeatedly interrupted causing the line to form. When she asked the customer to repeat herself because she couldn't hear because he was talking, he came over and stuck his finger in her ear and said "listen with both ears". I'm deeply disgusted by this behavior in 2022. This is harassment. He needs to be fired. read more

This is the worst cvs pharmacy that I have ever been to. They take immensely long and have no urgency whatsoever when there is a line. I once waited 45 minutes to pick up a prescription when there were only 3 people in front of me. The biggest kicker for me is their delay in prepping the prescription after they get it from the doctor. In once instance I had to eat an extra 3 hours to get my pain medication after my wisdom teeth were pulled. Aka the Novocain wore off and I still had to wait 3 hours for my pain medication after my procedure. This time, I brought in a prescription directly from my doctors office for an ear infection. I had to wait 2 days for them to fill the prescription because "they had to get ahold of my doctors office". When I called my doctors office to get it squared away the pharmacy still took another 5 hours to fill the prescription all while my ear infection continuously got worse. In summary I am not satisfied with their service and will likely be taking it to a different cvs in town or even Walgreens read more

Called me to say they could not find my insurance info so I needed to come in. After standing at the counter for 15 minutes they said it would take longer to get my Insurance numbers so I should come back. The pharmacists are nice but the ladies who run the counter are over worked and appear too tired to be helpful. I miss Long Drug from before they were bought by the big CVS chain. read more

We go to this store at least monthly. Pharmacy staff and store staff are consistently friendly and helpful. When the coupon machines don't work it's annoying, but I assume this isn't the store's fault. Sometimes the yellow sales stickers are not placed properly, so that's annoying. I like that this store is open for 24 hours and that it's located next to a dollar store and a grocery store, but I try not to come here after dark because I don't always feel safe in the parking lot--maybe more lighting would help. A new liquor store was put in nearby, but so far, I haven't noticed an increase in undesirable activity. I can only remember one cashier I could complain about--he wasn't waiting for all of my coupons to load and gave me unhelpful answers my questions about why coupons didn't trigger--but I haven't seen him lately, and the other cashiers have been patient and friendly when I have these issues. read more

The girl at the counter was flirting with her boyfriend while I needed help with reloading my card . She didn't know how to do it . I asked for supervisor because I thought someone in charge would know how but I was wrong again . My family has shopped here since it was Longs. After the name change, things were just fine for several years. That is no longer the case. The RX just screwed up a prescription so much that I had to make four trips until I got my meds. Today I put $10 into the Lottery machine in their store. The machine malfunctioned and the manager told me that the problem was between me and the Lottery people, not CVS. He was rude on top of that. BUYER BEWARE! Don't buy Lotto tickets at CVS. read more

It has taken me 2 months to calm down enough to write this review. In Dec. 2018 my Dr. ordered an injectable medication that I would need to take to prepare for a surgical procedure. I needed the medication within 24 hours. The pharmacy staff told me the medication had to be ordered. I asked if it would be in within 24 hours. The response was, "we don't know." I said that was not ok. The pharmacy staff told me that I needed to call other CVS pharmacies to see if they had the medication. I asked why they couldn't do that. I got a curt, "we don't do that." I spent the next 2 hours calling CVS pharmacies in the area. Then I got really fed up and called Walgreens who told me they could get the medication in time. I had my doctor reorder the medication to Walgreens. Because of my frustration, I emailed CVS pharmacy customer service. My question was, why with a chain this big is it not possible for them to send an email to their sister pharmacies to see if they have the needed medication. Why is it necessary for the customer to do all the work? Well, guess what? Even though I asked for a response from customer service, no one contacted me. So no more CVS pharmacy for me. I have switched everything to the people who were actually helpful-Walgreens. read more

I am currently in Modesto until the end of the month for work and need a prescription filled. I've been having issues because the prescription keeps being sent to the wrong pharmacy and was told it was finally sent to this location. I called this morning to confirm that they received my prescription and was told that would not fill my prescription because it is a controlled substance and that I am from out of town. I do not see why me being from out of town would be any issue if the prescription is being sent over directly by my physician and the pharmacist (Claire) tells me because they are not familiar with out of town doctors and they do not feel comfortable filling this prescription. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever my physician is from Sutter Solano not some random private practice doctor. Since they do not feel comfortable filling my prescription I do not feel comfortable ever doing business with any CVS store ever again. I will be contacting the corporate office on Monday regarding this incident. read more

The people at cvs are so helpful and friendly. I am here at least once a week to pickup meds for family members and the pharmacy staff always greet me by name. If there is ever a hold up or problem they do their best to rectify it, often the drs fault. Even going so far as to give "loaners" against the prescription if able to. Yes the wait can be long, but that is pretty par for the course with all pharmacies. The rest of the store workers are also very helpful and great to deal with. read more

Went in to drop off a prescription. They told me it would be 30 mins for my medication but never called my name. I walked up after 40 mins. They had a huge line and it took so long to get my stuff. The consultation was a joke. All he did was tell me what's written on the bottle. The worst part was when the male pharmacist and another female employee started arguing and yelling at each other. I have gone to collect my mother's medication here on multiple occasions. I have had only one experience from this pharmacy where there was not a problem. Usually, the pharmacy staff forgets to fill prescriptions that have been sitting there all day. This is not the only CVS that screws up. I also just had a huge problem at the other one on Oakdale Rd, near Scenic. I highly recommend avoiding these two stores at all costs! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I waited in line to drop off my prescription for 20 minutes it was finally my turn to be helped, when I dropped off the prescription the lady who helped me could barely speak English and said she could not read the prescription, well anyone who could read would have no problem reading what it said, I sit there for about 30 minutes while she tries to get a hold of the doctor she pretty much tells me there's nothing she can do and that I needed to leave because there's cars behind me waiting to be helped as if I wasn't a customer who also waited to be helped. she handed me back my prescription and walked away from the window. I could not believe how rude she was! I went across the street to the another CVS and they put my prescription in right away with no problem and told me it would be ready in 30 minutes and it was.
