Would give 5 stars, friendly, fast, professional pharmacy. If you go in person. HOWEVER...The CVS "AI chat bot" answering "service" is remarkably bogus and infuriating if you need to talk to a real person. A string of (mostly) immaterial questions, recordings and long wait to get to the 'end' to have the option to be transferred to a person. THEN it's another few minutes on hold... if they even answer. I do NOT think it's the staff refusing to answer calls, rather the AI bot answering crap. Wait long enough (10 minutes last try) and if it rings.. then the real person answers almost immediately. OR you get sent to a voice mail. There appears to be no direct line to call, all calls go to the automated 'service', to abuse the definition of service. This review is mostly for CVS corporate, but also a heads up to new customers. Go in person, all is good. Try to call? Up the creek. read more

Have to take some time to review this very responsive pharmacy department. They fill prescriptions quickly and there's never a long line to wait as there has been in other stores. I'm hoping that the CVS in Mills River will have a long and happy life. It has the feel of an old-timey pharmacy from when I grew up as a child. read more

This CVS isn't as bad as the first reviewer put it in my opinion. I didn't utilize the pharmacy, however, the store was organized. Some items weren't stocked or were out of stock. The building wasn't new but it isn't crumbling either. I found what I needed pretty quickly from this store. There was only one employee at the register when I was waiting in line to check out. He was doing his job and telling that customer about carepass to help her save more money on her large purchase. When it was my turn, the employee was very nice and genuine, I believe his name was George, may have been the store manager. He asked how my day was and helped me figure out which coupons I could use. The store isn't the most updated but the customer service was good from my experience. read more

"BEWARE !! Worst CVS Pharmacy, take your business elsewhere. I would give them no star if I could. This is also the closest to me based on where I live. Just to give some context. I have been with this pharmacy for sometime and I have been hoping to see improvement; It hasn't improved it only has gotten worse. In addition, I have read the reviews and honestly I should have just listened. But I like to give people and businesses a chance to prove themselves to me based on my own experience. But honestly, year the store is drab, and it seem hard to find anyone when you need them . I personally do not got to CVS for a lavish shopping experience. I primarily use the pharmacy. Unfortunately, the rudeness and inconvenience that you always have to deal with is just not worth the convenience in distance. Just Drive to Fletcher or Long Shoals road where the customer service is better. read more

I've been a CVS customer for years, but when I moved to the Mills River/Horse Shoe area west of Hendersonville, I discovered that, unfortunately, this was the only CVS close to my home. Yuck. The store is cramped and dirty-feeling, and the people working there don't seem to care one way or the other. The pharmacists couldn't get my prescriptions filled in anything like a timely manner, and I actually had a staff person put a bouquet of dripping wet flowers into a plastic bag with two pairs of new socks. He seemed offended when I stopped him from doing it, and didn't even bother to apologize that he got my brand new socks wet and dirty with floral water. I've moved all my prescriptions to the Rite Aid in Laurel Park, where they know what they're doing and seem to care about their customers. Don't go to this CVS store. Drive out of your way if you have to, but avoid it at all costs. read more
