They'll work hard to get you the drug manufacturers for generics you prefer, for instance, when one company's generic was making me ill, but CVS wouldn't get me the other company's generic that doesn't, Little Pharmacy took care of me. I have a few big problems with AA Pharmacy and they keep being an issue lately, unfortunately. First, they have a major issue with what they leave out spread across their counter. The last three times I was there, there were prescriptions with names of the person and names of the medicine in bags sitting right out on the same counter where you pay. Not only could I see confidential info, including about one person I knew, I also could have just taken some of the bags had I wanted to. It's so odd and they don't seem to care that confidential info is just cascading out on the same countertops where people are checking out. It seems so disorganized and careless now, which is disconcerting when I'm trusting them to manage medications for my family. Second, in the beginning, the pharmacist was always there and he was so friendly and helpful -- now there are several rude and/or inattentive people who will finish eating their sandwich before coming over to help people waiting at the register. If you have a question for a pharmacist, there often is not one there. If I ask when one will be there, they often aren't sure. I assume the prescriptions are still reviewed by a pharmacist (?!), but I have had two recent ones where they gave me the wrong amount, and both times they barely seemed to care. I'm not surprised to see all the good reviews from them are at least a year old. Sadly, the whole feeling there has changed so much and it's a huge disappointment. I bought some fun gifts there as well, and it was my first stop recently when he needed an uncommon prescription from the optometrist. They didn't have the strength we needed in stock, but they ordered it for the following day. Most recently I decided to switch all of our prescriptions over. I was tired of being stuck in a phone tree when I called my big chain store, or being turned away without a resolution when I would go up in person. I called Ann Arbor Pharmacy, and within 24 hours my prescriptions were transferred and the ones that needed refilling were filled. The environment is so quiet and calming, the employees are courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable, and there is never a long wait. It's just what the doctor ordered as the antidote for the he big box pharmacy that is causing your headache!

Let me tell you what happened tonight when I went, my shopping experience was fine. I was able to find all the items that I needed. Store was clean that was great. Time to go up to the register and check out saw that the register was open, and went ahead and put my items up on the belt. When I got there, nobody was in line. There was just three employees standing in there talking to each other. I am putting my items on the belt and the gentleman starts bringing it up and continues reading it up and continues his conversation with the other coworkers. I had over $200 worth of stuff so you know it wasn't a small order. The entire time I was being rung up, he continued the conversation with the other employee. Did not acknowledge Me matter of fact when that when he was done ringing it up, didn't even tell me what my total was put my receipt in a bag didn't even hand it to me. I feel this was the most rude experience. I have had almost anywhere. You do not Continue talking to employees and ignore your customer. I did report it over to the manager customer service and she said she was going to talk to the two employees that were involved. If you work in customer service, I know it's difficult. I've done it plenty of times myself. But the number one rule is you acknowledge your customer. Acknowledge them when they walk up to. You acknowledge them when it's time to leave. I will continue going to the store, but I will think twice about using that gentleman or the lady. I'm not gonna mention names, when I go to the checkout again.
