I loaded up on ground beef, huge chicken breasts, boneless pork chops and thick-cut bacon, all for $14. Much less expensive than the grocery store! Plus I'm supporting a local business. I didn't really ask where they source thier meat from, so I'm not sure if it's free-range chicken or anything. I'll look into that next time. The price will definitely keep me coming back. When I got home I noticed the sell by date was the very day I purchased this large roast. No one even mentioned this fact Or explained anything In regards to the sell by date. I am not planning on cooking the roast for several days Which will be this coming weekend. i did call and they assured me that the brisket would be fine for the weekend, but the point is that I would never have bought it if I knew or saw the sale by date. Perhaps if the butcher would have explained it initially, I would have been more comfortable. It was a very bad first experience and I will never go back.

The veal loafs are tasty and great as cold cut or in bigger pieces to sautee. Real black forest or Westphalia ham among other typical german sausages are available. The ground meat is prepared fresh and looks and tastes so much better than the processed and chlorine treated ground meat in super markets. The ham shanks or ox tails are excellent as well. If you like quality meat and cold cuts, that's the place to go. That's where we buy our meats and cuts. Btw, prices are very competitive.

I had become so disgusted with the amount of work I had to do to re-trim the same meat that we already had paid to have done, that for a few years I made my hubby do his own processing. He gave this place a try and I was very doubtful. When he came home he was so excited to have a proper job done. Because of the clear vacuumed sealed packages of meat I could see the difference. Sometimes we like to dry cure our meats and do custom cutting at home. My daughter is a culinary student so it works out perfectly for us to do the rest of the processing at home. The tour was amazing! This is the cleanest facility I've been through. They really know how to manage the process efficiently and how to treat the animals right in their finally days. He explained why some beef is dried and how the sausages are created. The owner really knows his stuff. All of the meat we got back was packaged beautifully and their sausage and smoked meats were perfect. I only wish they processed poultry :(
