CVS has an amazing app. So use the features and makes any visit that much easier. You can specify your "MY Store" and shop online via the app for items before you go in and /or apply coupons to items that you buy right below the item in the app. Then schedule for pickup or shopping online for free delivery if you have CVS CARE pass that is $5 per month for free Rx prescription deliveries and shopping and 20% off all CVS brand items and more discounts. Yes the pharmacy line is long but times ar tough and most medical affiliated places are short staffed and CVS Pharmacy they work long hours with minimal employees everywhere so patience is key. Give people grace. My con is no drive thru here for pharmacy so if that is something important to you, find another location. This is 1.5 miles from my house so too close. Also not a Health Hub closest is in Green Brook off Hwy 22. Also next door to Rita's Ice which is nice on hot summer day!! read more

This place is ridiculous! You serve the public and you close the pharmacy for lunch break! Are you kidding me????? If someone is in diar need for a prescription and has to wait until your lunch is over that is a major problem. Like any other businesses that serve the public you NEED to have coverage!!!! You mean to tell me that one person only works in the pharmacy? If you have more than 1 than you need to schedule different lunch times in order to serve the public. read more

I hate pollen season...Had to rush to cvs to buy some Claritin tonight and OMG I did not know that Claritin was so freakin expensive for such a small box!!! I was so tempted to just buy Benadryl cause it's cheaper but that one has way too many side effects. I was kicking myself cause the Claritin was $23. It was on sale but only if you had a cvs card and I didn't have one. So I sucked it up and decided to buy the overpriced Claritin anyway. The young lady at the counter asked me if I had a cvs card and I said I didn't have one. She scanned I guess a "universal cvs card" and I got 4.00 off. She then said, oh wait a minute I have a coupon and she took out a coupon from her purse and I ended up just paying $16 instead. Wow! I thanked her profusely. 5 stars for the friendly and generous service! I've often seen that young lady there working at night. It's too bad I didn't her name. I'll definitely try to find out next time. With service like that I'll definitely be frequenting this branch. read more

I read some of the reviews and was shocked to hear someone say bad things about Lorraine and her team. First, I have been coming to this pharmacy for over ten years. It is my favorite for the customer service and availability of medication. Lorraine is extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and always willing to help. So is her team, Dwight and Malia are both TOP NOTCH. I am sorry this person "Al" had a bad experience with them, but judging by their post the bad experience may be on them, not CVS. I don't get alot of prescriptions filled but alternate between different pharmacies. I also don't have a prescription plan with my health care. Recently my local Doctor called in my prescription to CVS Middlesex location, which I have used in the past. Prescription was for 90 day supply of Simvastatin 40 mg (which is generic to begin with) which I have had filled before at Costco pharmacy. When I picked it up they wanted $121.00 for it. I told them there must be a mistake, I've paid less than $10.00 at Costco before for same perscription. They told me there was no mistake. I told them to keep it, told my Doctor who gave me a new prescription which I took to Costco and had filled for $5.93 (five dollars and ninety three cents) same prescription for full 90 day supply! I even went back to CVS and showed the Pharmacist the receipt to ask them how they could be that different in price. He had no explanation. For everybody who doesn't know, Costco the Pharmacy is open to everybody, you don't have to be a member. I will personally never get a prescription filled at CVS again! read more

First off, the store is quite possibly the dirtiest CVS I've ever been to. Aisles are very tight and it's hard for two people to walk down them comfortably. I was there for milk and boy was I in for a treat... the milk was 1 day passed the expiration date. I talked to the manager, who was this ignorant guy named Kranal or something like that... He was so Incredibly rude to me and talked to me as though it was my fault the milk was expired. The only positive thing I could even say about this store is that the staff at the register was extremely friendly. I'll never step foot in that store again. I highly recommend going to Walgreens right down the street instead. read more

The store's new layout is nice and clean. But the pharmacy is SLOW. Plan on waiting 2 hours or more for your scripts. Don't know if it's because of new staff or short staffed, but that's a bit much. This is also a new occurrence, I have gotten scripts in the past in under 20 or 30 minutes, Not 2 hours. I need to either find a new pharmacy or a backup location because they are slow here. read more

My daughter had pink eye so we went to get your drops here. Went to the counter, was asked "what are you here for"? I said picking up. Lorraine the pharmacy said very rudely. Go over there to pick up. Then the tech came over and said "well we called your doctor cause your insurance don't cover those drops.. I'll let you know when they call in another. I'm like excuse me its 8:00 PM, my daughter was in a lot of pain, can you please call them and put a rush on it.. He just looked at me like I have 5 heads.. Meanwhile I called the doctor myself and got it taken care of in 5 minutes. So I said to the tech the doctor just called it in.. Again he looked at me like I was an alien.. No one told me ok its here it will be 10 minutes, just an attitude.. And Lorraine the pharmacist just stood there, Didn't open her mouth!!! They have no customer service education and literally needs an adjustment.. People are coming there cause they are sick and don't need your mean face on, or an attitude.. Stick your attitude up your A** Lorraine.. Work at another job if you don't enjoy people. read more

The store is filthy. There is a countertop that runs the length of the pharmacy - it's low where the cashier is and where you drop off prescriptions and about 5 feet high everywhere else. The area that is 5 feet high is ALWAYS covered in dust. I have personally requested that it be cleaned and a worker began cleaning only to stop when I left - I know because I returned an hour later to pick up the prescription I had dropped off and could see where she stopped dusting. And they mix the medicine right below that dusty countertop. read more
