On Friday, I made several calls trying to get an appt for my daughter to receive the flu vaccine. There was a huge mix up and miscommunication regarding the vaccine. I was terribly upset and called to speak with a pharmacist. Have you ever heard stories of mothers doing an extraordinary act to save or protect a child? Well that's what I would do, the wonderful part is so would Charmaine, a pharmacist @Colonia natural pharmacy. She displayed an incredible amount of compassion and went far beyond her job description to help me and provide support while also giving me a clear understanding to prevent a reoccurrence. I'm grateful and so appreciative far beyond my words can properly express. When people get in the service industry they often say, I just want to help peiple. Well at this pharmacy they are doing just that. Thank you Pharmacist Chrmaine

So, I had a prescription of Iron medicine for my Kid. They provided an over-the-counter medicine charging me more than 3 times than its available on Target/Walmart/Amazon. It was not a generic / Custom medicine. Market price is around $8 and I was charged $31 for the same brand and quantity. That huge was the difference. When I understood the issue, I went back next day with the bottle (not opened and sealed and they didn't agree to take it back. If it was a custom created medicine, I would have agreed but it was just a standard medicine. Pharmacies do have a policy to not take medicines back but it's not applicable for over-the-counter ones. I was a customer of Edison Pharmcacy for YEARS, without problems, but then they closed down. Walgreens was near my house, so i gave them a try..BIG PROBLEMS. Anyhow, Lexington Pharmacy has been a blessing, always has my meds ready, and dispenses your meds lawfully, every 28 days (a 2 day grace period is allowed when picking up your scheduled meds). Wlgreens told me the D.E.A. contacted them "specifically about administering my meds every 30/31 days after picking them up on day 28/29 for the last 20 years. I have been a patient at Tiffany Pharmacy for years. Brian is wonderful, and most of the other…read morepharmacy staff are as well. However, I just had a truly awful experience with the pharmacist on duty today. My doctor sent my prescriptions on Tuesday, I went to Tiffany to pick up a prescription on Tuesday that was ready and was told that my other prescriptions would be filled today and tomorrow. However when I called this morning I was told a different story by the pharmacist on duty who has always been the least helpful one but he took his lack of regard for the wellbeing of patients to a different level today. He very sighed loudly when I asked him if I could expect my prescription to be filled tomorrow and spoke to me as if I were a nuisance. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience with ANY pharmacist anywhere. He completely dismissed me and I was so shocked that I said,"I get it, thanks", and I hung up the phone. I have been an extremely loyal customer for years and I have referred many friends and family to Tiffany Pharmacy. I am such a patient person and I don't elicit rude responses from anyone because I treat everyone with a great deal of respect, however I do ask questions. I am just so disappointed and shocked that I had to write this review, and I never write reviews. Everyone at Tiffany is such a pleasure to speak with and I mean everyone, but after my interaction with that pharmacist today, I just feel terrible. Tiffany is more than a pharmacy to me, the core group of pharmacy staff that I am familiar with such as Maria, Stephanie, Kelly and a few others genuinely care and it shows In their work. They have gone above and beyond for me as well as for my family members, always helping to make difficult times a little bit better. I have never been treated so terribly by any pharmacist or pharmacy staff member anywhere. I don't mind waiting for my prescription because I have before and I am well aware that pharmaceutical shortages are just the new normal, but these issues are always explained to me by other pharmacy staff. Furthermore, as someone in the healthcare field I understand how important it is to foster positive relationships with patients, to answer their questions and to ensure that they have the information necessary to adhere to their medical treatment. I can only imagine the detrimental effects this pharmacist could have on an elderly person's adherence to treatment when they call with questions about their medication being filled or general questions. Furthermore, my elderly mother has also had less than helpful interactions with this same pharmacist, and if not for dedicated pharmacy staff such as Maria, she would have remained confused about her medication. Everyone at Tiffany has always treated me with respect, despite being busy. My hope is that Brian will read this review and attempt to solve the root of this issue by addressing that pharmacist's behavior with him. Tiffany Pharmacy has been such an integral part of my family's life for years and I hope that no one else has an experience like the one I had today. Thank you.
