This particular QuickChek is one of my favorites. First of all, they have free air for your car tires, which is pretty much unheard of in New Jersey! They also have a gas station with reasonable prices and extremely nice attendants. The people working here are consistently good-natured and positive. In these tough times, I truly appreciate every I kind smile I see! The coffee here is consistently delicious. I think it's some of the best coffee around.They have a nice station set up with lots of different kinds of milk, creamers, sweeteners, and flavors. Almost every kind of snack food and candy is sold here. If you want something more healthy , you can buy a deli sandwich, breakfast sandwich, or even fresh fruit and salad. read more

Everything from management Lee Evans horrible unprofessional so called manager. Some of the workers are very inhumane the way communicate with the customers. Don't know what's going on there but everyone needs to be fired and start from scratch with new employees with real customer service experince. Usually this store is great, however, today I called to ask if they had any issues with the Global Microsoft outage. The woman had an accent, and clearly did not have an understanding of the English language, or know of the Global outage.. She advised she could not tell me unless I was with someone from the company. I explained the situation, explained because my son has to walk 1/2 mile to the store, and she said he would have to find out when he got to the store, and hung up. I wrote to the main office to report this incident. Very rude to hang up. read more

My reviews typically revolve around restaurants. However, I had to give kudos to this particular QuickChek. I was out of breakfast food and wasn't in the mood to roast my boyfriend's arm, so off to QuickChek I went. From them moment I walked in the door, I was showered with smiles from their staff and genuine, happy-toned "Good Morning!" greetings. I made my way to the touch-screen order machines, grabbed my ticket and made my coffee. An attendent actively tidied up the coffee counter while passing out cheerful and genuine "Good Morning, Miss!" as I grumpily made my coffee. I couldn't help but to crack a smile back at her kindness and say "Good Morning" back. The line at the registers was long, but rightfully so. This particular QuickChek is lovely. There were a few cashier's behind the counter to help with any self-checkout problems while wishing everyone a"Good Morning" and "Have a great day!!" My 7am morning grumpiness was starting to fade... When I made my way back to pick up my sandwich, it was on the counter, waiting for me. Bing, bang, boom: I'm on my way out. They rock. They really do. They made my morning. read more

Not a bad little convenience store for the bound brook area. This location has gas that is always competitively priced and there are hardly, if ever, any lines. The inside is always kept very clean and the staff is friendly. I only purchase coffee and water there so I don't have anything to say about the food but the mornings seem to be steadily busy so I presume they're doing well. There's never a shortage on coffee, it always tastes great, and for those of us who like the flavored coffee they always have options to choose from. This quick check is also right off of 287 so if you need gas or a pick me up and you're around exit 12/10 you can check out this spot easily. read more

I'm adding photos to this review as well, but this is why Quick Chek sucks at breakfast and sub's. Their portioning is ridiculous. I got a breakfast burrito and a 6" breakfast sub, both with a meat eggs and cheese. There was hardly anything to it. If not local management maybe corporate should look into how these people make sub's. Although I appreciate their coffee in the morning, their food is a total disappointment. Maybe they should take some pointers from WaWa. Speaking of WaWa, I cannot wait for it to open in Bridgewater. So long QC. read more

I used to commute 25 minutes from my apartment in North Plainfield to Somerset and only pass five QuickCheks and always thought to myself..."Wouldn't five be better?!" And sure enough, South Bound Brook delivers! A fresh new building right through the middle of town that will make sure you don't go hungry coming from a nightly bender at the South Side Grille & Tavern up the road. With all the hangover prevention supplies a person could need and crave in a moment of inebriation, what more could one ask for from the town South of Bound Brook?! read more

This is my second time coming into this Quick Check establishment and although my first experience last week was nothing but pleasant by a female cashier, today my second experience coming in was the total opposite where I felt fully disrespected by an employee by the name of Joseph. He was wearing glasses, brown tan skin toned, grey facial hair, and may have been Hispanic or some kind of other ethnicity. Wanting to purchase a Black & Mild and asked cordially for one but this man looked as if someone had already stumped his day or something but did ask that he needed ID. Lightly comical as you should when having customer/employee rapport I stated while revealing the services I work for already hires those over 18 to work and let me say, I do look much younger for my age (I'm in my late 20s) and do understand that that employees still have the right to request for ID so I was still willing to give it to him but his response and demeanor when he approached me is what left me speechless. He said with all cantankerousness and dark sarcasm "What are you? 13 years old or something?" "Well, you gotta be 21 years to use tobacco". This could have been said in a more divergent and professional way giving me a demeanor as if he wanted to me to go away and just ask for ID better. Most horribly is how he judged me disrespectfully interrogating my assumed age. He went to get my order with no longer face contact and went to press my screen without me even receiving a receipt. Not even a thank you for stopping by or anything you'd expect coming into Quick Check. I didn't even say anything back to him Feeling belittled, I took a look at his name tag and glanced in disbelief of the service which look like it angered where he opened his mouth saying loudly and sternly like he wanted me out of the store "Have a good day". As a offended customer I simply asked why is he so rude and he responded harshly "GO, have a good day!" I usually scoff off petty rudeness but the way he addressed me has to be noticed in case if he does this to anyone else. For someone to be head cashier and manager shouldn't talk to customers that way, make offensive assumptions as well as castigate a customer when a word wasn't said again to them after transaction. All I can do is to call corp and address this situation to confirm that Joseph's service was indolent, unprofessional, and quite discriminating. This will not stop me from coming to this same establishment though but for the next time I will find another accessible cashier and/or different to get better service from. I received better service and kindness from the female cashier before that requested my same purchase more civially. read more

This quick Chek is awesome I always go here for gas and coffee they have a lot of options and their food and coffee is good!

store itself is good. hit or miss with who makes the sub and how they make it. some do light mayo and some do a lot. some give you the amount of meat you pay for while others short you. my post is about the subs. quality and price is good. staff is nice. clean store. if i don't go to tastee i go here. read more
