CVS Pharmacy in Menifee is really Terrible!!! The Manager, Mohammed, should be fired for the way he talks to the customers at this store. I picked up a medication took home and bottle was empty. Called back to say I had paid for an empty bottle of pills they said bring it right in. I took it back and told the manager what had happened to me and he told me it was impossible, could not happen ever. I said"Are you calling me a Liar"? He said no he would refill one time for me but never again and I need to check every medication I get before I leave the store. He treated me like I was a drug addict was very disrespectful and proceeded to threaten me saying he will not fill for me. I ended up getting the pills without a sorry about that or any kind of apology for my time and trouble. Mohammed you need to be Fired!!!! I always feel, if you don't have anything positive to say then don't say anything, but I need to get this one off my chest. On Aug 22 around 1039, my wife called me at the gym with UTI pain and asked me to stop and get a female product for uti pain. I had no idea what it was so I went to the pharmacy to ask them for help and I was told, "we'll be with you in a minute" by a female employee who was coming from behind the counter. I told her as she was walking that I just needed the location of...and she cut me off and said, " I'm off the clock, haha." I was shocked and disappointed so I just said to myself, "never mind" and started to walk away and she said that they can help you behind the counter, when all she had to say is "what are you looking for". Or, "I'm sorry, I'm in hurry". I would've accepted anything but, "I'm off the clock"! Are y'all not allowed to help people if you're off the clock? Sad thing is, she continued to stop and have conversations with other tellers on the way out. Its ok, I found another local pharmacy open and was served. Sorry for the rant. I had to pick up my prescription inhaler and cough medicine and CVS was the closest spot. I went in and the pharmacist was friendly and I paid and received the medicine. My only criticism is that there should be more staff to help make it a little more expedient. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Every time I have to drop off a prescription, it is never ready by the time they promise. I was told an hour today. I came back 3 hours later and the lady said "sorry, give us 5 more minutes and then it will be ready." Took another 20 min. Seriously?!?! Never again! Taking my business elsewhere! read more

I've been taking my 93 year old mother, thats in a wheelchair, to shop here for a while. The last time we went in, we were looking for the baskets to carry items in. I asked the clerk where the baskets were and she said they only had one basket and it was being used. We tried our best to get the items my mother needed on her lap without dropping everything on the floor. When I got up to purchase the items I told the clerk that it would be beneficial for them to have more than one basket for their customers. Though she was an older woman, she looked at me like it was an unreasonable request. I'm sure the management knows that they only have one basket. Doesn't seem like common sense to me. We won't be coming back to this store because of this. They should really consider ways to help their customers, especially those that are in a wheelchair. I don't think buying more baskets for their customers is going to put them out of business. read more

There is always a long wait at this pharmacy but, I continued to go here because of how close it is to my home. I won't be going here anymore. I had a $30 coupon that I forgot to use at the moment of purchase. CVS refused to honor the coupon the same day of purchase. Long time loyal CVS customer. Coming home from a harsh 12 hour shift at the hospital, I stopped to make a large purchase before going home. Total came to $182 and I had a 25% off coupon that expires today. Pulled up the coupon on my phone and it wouldn't process. Richard, the incredibly professional and sympathetic clerk, offered to call the manager to assist me. I had approximately 20 items in my purchase, so Richard kindly voids all of my items and moves me to another register to wait for the manager, with his sincere apologies. "Soul" the manager arrives looking as though I just woke him up. He wastes 30 minutes of my time and nonchalantly says the coupon must be on east coast time. Sorry. 45 minutes at ten o'clock at night. He looks at the valid coupon on my phone one last time and shrugs. He offers me nothing. I purchased a few essential items from Richard..only because I was too exhausted to stop again. He apologized again for the situation. Not sure how some people keep their jobs. Soul must be related to the owner. Richard deserves a promotion, and hopefully his first move would be to fire Soul..who just made me decide that CVS is no longer for me. read more

I'm giving this place 4 stars because of the cashiers. Richard who is the most friendly, sweetest and most helpful cashier, has made me come here more now then ever. I look forward to saying hello. Tami has also been so inviting and friendly. I work down the street so my choice is Walgreens or CVS late night. Thank your cashiers because I haven't stepped foot in Walgreens for my wine or beer since. I would give 5 stars if this place was stocked properly. I feel management never does inventory enough. It's out of stock all to often on the "Weekly AD" products. I come in for the Ad. So it makes zero sense to me that those items would run low, ALL THE TIME. If not for the cashiers who are so nice I would give a 3 star. I would love to bump it up to 5 stars but if it's advertised in a ad, chances are you are not going to get it here at this location. Called in for an RX that my Doctor shouldve called in. I was on hold for 5 minutes until someone finally answered only to put me back on hold for 15 minutes. Then picked up and hung up. Fine, I just drove down there to see what was up and drive thru is backed up at least 5 cars. Go inside and to come to find out my RX was called in days ago and that the pharmacy needed an authorization from my insurance which had nkt been filed yet. No one called me or left a voicemail. Great. Now its the weekend and my doctor or insurance can't be reached until Monday for a change in medication. Thanks CVS but I'm going to Walgreens down the street from now on. read more

If i could give them a "0" stars I would I went to try to filled up a prescription for my wife who was in a severe pain at home. I picked CVS pharmacy in Newport ave in Menifee because it was close to home. But I have to tell you that if someone gets the price for being the rudest pharmacist, tech or clerk is CVS staff. I stood in front of the counter for almost 8 min without anybody acknowledging me. There were seven workers there who saw me but they didn't say anything. I don't understand this model of business where the customer means nothing. I will never return to any CVS pharmacy not even if I am dying. This is the worst service I have ever received. Then I decided to go to Walgreens pharmacy and what a service. The cashier at the entrance to the pharmacy clerk were so polite and helpful. Worst CVS don't bring your business here. Woman that works there told me well you don't have to come to this location. Seriously! I tried calling about having a particular medication for my wife that just came home from having a c-section and was in pain. The CVS that I normally go to was out so I tried calling around and when I called this particular store they told me sorry can't give out that info. So I asked I have to drive 40mins to find out whether or not you have it while my wife is in pain! Stupid policy. So I called another store to call that store to see if they had it and they told me yes so I get there and gave them a piece of my mind. And that when the woman clerk in the pharmacy said "you don't have to come here." Wtf! I understand I was upset but you never tell business to go else where. The only reason I went to CVS is because target was closed. she may have said it out of frustration because of some STUPID POLICY THAT PARTICULAR CVS PUT INTO ACTION but come on people. These days it about customer service you have many competitors and you don't have the convenience of losing them. Smh, management needs to get with the program. read more

Sometimes there is a waiting line at the pharmacy counter. Sometimes they get their records screwed up. Make use of their coupons on their app. Also keep tract of your prescriptions with their app. Store is somewhat understaffed. They are sometimes out of advertised products. When you can get a sales-person, they are often quite helpful and accommodating. They can text you when your prescription is ready. Unless you have a coupon, or something is on sale, their products seem overpriced. Overall, an acceptable place to do business. They are approved for most major instance programs. I plan on continuing to do business there, as they are in a convenient location. Watch out in the parking lot for idiot drivers. read more

Seems they got a new manager here that refuses to fill prescriptions that are given from doctors NOT in Riverside County ~ at least for MY particular prescription. What a crock of crap! I can see if you've maybe NEVER been to CVS but come on!! Lot's of us that live in Riverside WORK in Orange and LA Counties. As a result, our DOCTORS are located there too! Don't punish us because we have to commute. Don't tell me to fill my Rx near my doctors either. I fill my presciptions when it's convenient to ME not to YOU. So I guess we have to change pharmacies AGAIN. Thanks NEW MANAGER! For ruining it for your regular shoppers! So I went to urgent care and they sent me to this pharmacy to pick up my prescription because I am very sick, me and my mother walk up and they said itll be about 15 minutes to get filled well 30 minutes go by and they just start filling it and they are ridiculously slow I have been waiting now for almost 1 hour for a prescription, I have a fever and strep throat this is some bullshit get some new pharmacists because these ones obviously don't give a crap about people's health if I could give a 0 star I would read more

I have been to many pharmacies and this one by far has the best staff/pharmacists. They are all so friendly every time I go. Granted, I have only gone in the morning but still I have had my fair share of rude chain pharmacies such as target in menifee. read more

I don't know about any of the other employees at this store but the folks in the Pharmacy and a young man named Ryan working the register were just great! This post is exclusive to the store - NOT the Pharmacy. You can pretty much buy anything in this store at a different retailer, however you will be hard pressed to find better Customer Service or nicer, more helpful people who work in the store. I go there maybe once a month. The last time I was there I didn't realize I had left my merchandise until a couple of weeks later when I went to look for it. I took a chance and when I went back to the store I asked if anyone had found it. Sure enough they kept it for me! That's worth five stars! read more

We have been going to this pharmacy over a year and experienced very positive. Often they gave us reminder calls for refills and usually very prompt filling prescriptions. Friendly service at the drive through or at inside the counter. A pharmacist (Bob) is always busy but he is super nice. He gave us flu vaccines gently last year. Regretfully my insurance called and told me that beginning of this coming year CVS will not be their prefer pharmacy for me to use. Unfortunately I have to change to less desirable pharmacy. I gave 4 stars for this CVS, because recently I went in to get my flu vaccine and one of young ladies took more than half hour to tried to figure out about my eligibility from the insurance. She did not find a right answer and told me that it will take more time for her to figure out. She agreed to call me when she have the answers, but she never did call even after 10 days are gone by. I went somewhere else to get the vaccine. read more
