Now I understand why all my providers have asked me to switch pharmacies. I never had a "major" issue until today. It was even my prescription. It was for my dying FIL; who I needed to reorder meds for. I was spun in circles 4 times- because my phone number doesn't match his DOB; I kept asking the automated system for to leave message, and to speak with a live person- just kept spinning me. So, I hung up and tried again, same result. So, I hung up and hit provider instead. Wow! The pharmacist could NOT have been anymore rude. I explained the situation three times to her. Told her I even had my own personal issue the other day- and finally got a live person- and the person I spoke with the other day was so apoligetic and agreed their system is terrible. However, this pharmacist today has zero empathy and so hyper focused on the fact that I chose provider as my option. She clearly had no patience or desire to deal with a customer today. I was going to ask her to assist me in setting up the proper phone number so we didn't keep running into this issue; and so I didn't have to hit one as if I was a provider. However, her rudeness just continue "Don't do it again" She had Zero compassion for the fact I was trying to get meds via HOSPICE FOR MY DYING FIL. Avoid CVS Marsfhfield at all costs. CVS should be ashamed they hire people like this. My husband stopped even calling CVS because of the automated system and now instead just goes directly there to check on and pick his dads meds order. It's rather disturbing that we can't even call the pharmacy to check on meds before heading there. The pharmacy is so busy they can't fill prescriptions and then lie to you about why they don't have it ready. When they did fill my prescription the dose was incorrect. Don't fill your prescriptions here. They obviously can't properly run and staff their pharmacy for the number of prescriptions they get. Walgreens down the road was so easy and so is Walmart pharmacy which also delivers. Skip these morons. read more

I have mobility problems so using the drive though is essential. They now have you go into the Pharmacy and stand behind 12 people in line and wait for a long time to get your scirpts. Its too much I almost fainted so I transfered all my scripts to the supermaket were I don't have to wait in line for long. It seems the entire town goes here so its always busy. They don't pay their help a good rate so no one wants to work there. CVS got billions in profits and they get the halfway house workers working there going so slow they don't have a brain. You get what you pay for. On top of it all I'm stick of walking on melted gum on the sidewalk outside the door they are so cheap they don't get someone to powerspray and clean it off the side walk its digusting and unsanatary. read more

I'll give it 2 stars because the store itself feels open & spacious, it's clean, the selection is good, they have an expanded cosmetics area and expanded food. But the people working there? Yikes. In particular, big shout out to the blonde woman who works the pharmacy counter and apparently just can't understand common courtesy. Example: I stopped in on my way to work one morning last week. I waited at the front checkout for 3-4 minutes or so then bee-lined for the pharmacy checkout with my four items. She walked up and gave me a blank look: "Name?" Me: "I'm not picking up, can I just check out? There's no one up front." She said: "No, you're wrong there's always someone up front." and turned away, because, well- we were done as far as she's concerned and I can take my four items and go. Me: "They must be invisible because I don't see anyone there. Thanks for explaining!" I turned away and walked back to the empty checkout. And I proceeded to raise my voice: "hey, is anyone here? No one? Anyone experiencing invisibility?" for about a minute before I annoyed even myself. So- I can stand at an empty checkout indefinitely, waiting for a nonexistent checker, or walk out the door- those are my choices? Waited another minute and finally another grumpy employee wandered by- this one fully visible. And I only got one eye roll when I asked if I could please check out, so there's that. Oh, there's more. When I finally got to work, I'm regaling my boss with the story, and tales of my prior experiences in this CVS and he says, "I know *exactly* who you're talking about - at the pharmacy counter?" and describes her to a T! Then proceeds to tell me *his* multiple stories of the glacial customer service from the same person! Some things you can just count on I guess Luckily there's a Walgreen's up the street. read more

Harrison is the friendliest fellow there and tried his best to be helpful and patient as I repeatedly attempted to fill my husband's Rx yesterday. Others working in the pharmacy don't even make eye contact and are less than pleasant. The line can wrap around the whole place with little acknowledgement. More workers need to be hired. These few can't do the job well. Back to Osco for us! read more

The single worst CVS in Massachusetts. The people behind the counter are rude and screw up my medications all the time. When I point it out or complain, it's my fault or the doctor's fault. They are understaffed and can't even open the drive up and you spent at least 45 min waiting in line. I had to wait 24 hours for BREATHING meds. I just spent 10 min on the phone with the pharmacist who filled a taper dose at the highest rather than the lowest dose. Thank god I caught it or I'd be taking a triple doze, by mistake, thereby overdosing on a diabetic medicine. She insisted it was my fault for not noticing and the dr fault for calling in all three doses. Not her fault for being a pharmacist that didn't look at the entire dosage information or have knowledge of a very common med that is in shortage. Now, I have to run all over kingdom come to find the right dose which I'm due to take tomorrow. Why they made me call them back is beyond me, since she did NOTHING for me except argue. Three times I asked her to stop arguing and simply fill the drug and she told me to call other people. Useless and dangerous. Go elsewhere. read more

The CVS in Marshfield never has the drive through open so the line inside wraps the store. Luckily I'm not any meds that would kill me if I didn't have them or I'd be in trouble. I hope they can figure out there staffing issues or I'll be using a different pharmacy soon. read more

The pharmacy is severely understaffed and the drive is closed. Prescriptions take way too long to fill and I always have to fight over my insurance coverage. They always have wrong in their computer saying I'm ineligible and whenever I verify with my insurance turns out CVS is always wrong. Everyone is short staffed, it shouldn't be an excuse to be rude. The pharmacy staff are very vocal that the customers are to blame for people quitting. One pharmacy worker said "we have plenty of people applying and taking the job but they quit because the customers are animals." Extremely rude staff save a few. I get that you're understaffed but you should still be professional. There's staffing problems everywhere. It's not a unique problem that only effects you, lose the attitude. read more

I am a Veteran and live in Marshfield quite a long time. I also receive my meds from the VA. Last Saturday I realized that one of my meds was not sent to me, After calling the VA they said I could go to the CVS and they would give me some until they could reorder. The women at the pharmacy informed me she had to call the VA which was fine. i returned 1 1/2 hours later and was told she had not had time to call, basically telling me that she was not going to. I hope they don't treat all their customers this way including Veterans. They have lost this customer, I will be going to Walgreens from now on for my everyday needs read more

If I could give less than one star for the CVS Pharmacy on Ocean Street, I would. The pharmacy here is the WORST I have ever dealt with. The pharmacists here do not care about the patients and providing decent care. Jeane/Jeanne is the ALL TIME WORST health care provider I have ever dealt with (and I've dealt with many over the last decade). I have been picking up a prescription from CVS on ocean street for the last 7 months.The last 2 months she specifically has made it her job to make my experience as difficult and miserable as possible. Thanks to her lack of knowledge, I HAD TO SKIP OUT ON PICKING UP MY REGULAR MONTHLY PRESCRIPTION. My advice, skip out on CVS and pick up your prescriptions at either Rite Aid or Star Market. Honestly, I have never received less than professional, humane service at this CVS. I have noted this because I deal with a different CVS during the winter and have found them to be careless, unprofessional, and annoying. However, in Marshfield, I am surprised at how good the pharmacy is. I'll be going there again tonight. The new look of this cvs is so open and nice looking. The store always has some good sales going on and great coupons when you use a cvs card. When products aren't on sale everything is pretty pricey. The staff is helpful too. I also love how they're open 24/7! read more

My elderly wife picked up a prescription for ampicillin (not an unusual product), but only partially filled as it was "out of stock". Went back 2 days later, still out of stock. Told her they had transferred the scrip to a pharmacy in another town. What a way to run a business. They should have obtained stock from another CVS! read more

I like the CVS in Marshfield. The pharmacy staff are always professional and courteous. The Minute Clinic has reasonable wait times. It's a good alternative to the er. for minor medical issues. The cashiers and the camera operator are also professional and helpful. Despite the big chain look, the Marshfield CVS has a small town feel. read more

I used to go here quite often, since I live close but in the past few months the staff is nothing but RUDE! Never a smile on any of their faces. There is 2 older cashiers in general who are just plain stupid! I use a lot of coupons to do my shopping and noticed that they are def not coupon friendly! Sometimes their store coupons do not scan, and instead of asking someone how to key it in....... She tells me she can't take the coupon because it's not scanning? It's your coupons lady! DO NOT GO TO CVS PHARMACY THEY MIGHT KILL YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES!!! I've been a customer of cvs pharmacy for over 20 years, their customer service has always been poor but I stayed with them because they were the only local pharmacy that is open 24 hours. Over the weekend I picked up a prescription and brought it home, the next morning I opened the prescription and immediately realized that more than half the prescription was missing. I called the pharmacy and inquired about the shortage. The manager told me that I was wrong, that the prescription had been triple counted and left the store correctly and that I must have taken the prescription and was now lying about it. I asked if I could speak to someone else and she told me no that the other manager would not be there until Monday and that I would have to wait. My doctor called the pharmacy to explain how important this medication was. The manager said it wasn't her problem and to contact someone else on Monday. On Monday morning I contacted the pharmacy and inquired about the prescription again then I was told to come in. When I got there the pharmacist hid behind some shelves and had a cashier deliver it to me. They did not apologize or even admit their mistake. The medication was life or death for me but cvs didn't care all they did was offend me and discriminate against me, they couldn't apologize or even admit their mistake. DO NOT GO THERE! They don't care about their customers or even have the decency to admit they could have made a mistake or did. Save yourself from the worst pharmacy and save your life by not going there and telling everyone you know this story. Cvs does not care about you and they just might kill you. read more
