I've been seeing an herbalist for a while now, and on a recent trip to MV, found myself without my standby herbs. Lucky for me, Healthy Additions has one of, if not the most, comprehensive and through collection of herbal medicines I have ever seen. Mind you, I live in a big city and this is a small town on a small island. When faced with so many options I wasn't sure which to chose from, the kind and compassionate women behind the counter gave me their tips and opinions which we re super helpful and honest. I left with a good amount of stuff including a fantastic neti pot kit, a soothing throat spray, and the sincerest wishes that I feel better. I absolutely love Healthy Additions and kind of can't wait to go back!

Returning dental patient with dental emergency. The worthless creature on the phone first insists…read moreon scheduling me for NEW patient general dental exam, and then says "We're scheduling out to January." These stupid hicks need to staff this so-called clinic with front-office people who have some degree of common sense (obviously, I need a solution well before JANUARY) and some degree of concern for the well-being of the patient. I guess my first warning should have been when she answered the phone with the name of the clinic - and nothing else. No "How may I help you" or anything else so civilized. This place should be burned to the ground with all its worthless staff trapped inside!

I brought my mother-in-law to this hospital while we were on vacation due to severe abdominal pain,…read moreand the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. The receptionist was remarkably rude and showed little compassion toward a woman who was clearly in significant pain. Rather than offering assistance, she insisted on having her complete paperwork containing information that had already been provided, all while displaying an unhelpful and dismissive attitude. What followed was a nearly nine-hour wait to diagnose what ultimately turned out to be kidney stones. Even more concerning, during that entire time, not a single doctor came into the room to personally evaluate, explain findings, or discuss a treatment plan. Healthcare professionals are entrusted with caring for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. Unfortunately, this facility failed to demonstrate even the most basic standards of communication, compassion, and patient care. The lack of urgency, professionalism, and respect we encountered was deeply disappointing. This was, without question, one of the worst healthcare experiences I have witnessed. Based on our experience, you would likely receive more attentive and compassionate care at many urgent care centers than at this hospital's emergency department.

You could see that my foot was broken on the original x-ray. There's no way anybody looked at it otherwise they would've seen it. Dr. Katzen was my doctor and he was absolutely terrible. So thank you for misdiagnosing my injury which I had to get surgery 10 months later for because you guys couldn't see a simple break!!!

Sadly, I do not suggest anyone support this salon due to their predatory practice of charging 200…read more on a cancellation fee, regardless of the situation. I double booked my appointment with my doctor's appointment. Yes, it was my fault, however when I tried to text a modification of time or day I was summarily shut down and told it's another 200.fee- in addition to the 150 fee I had paid for a consultation. I was within the 48 hour period of time to alter my appointment. 350.00 later with no treatment and a conversation that was completely unyielding of an any compromise later, I walked away from the salon without a compromise. It was harsh. But nothing would persuade this technician from charging me the additional 200. for my clumsiness. This is not the same person I had do my facial before. It feels bad, its callous and mercenary that she took 350. on my stored credit card against my wishes telling me she has the right to do so while I protested. I understand the need for small businesses to protect themselves from cancellations, I'm the general manager of a local hotel, but there are times when we listen to people and we apply a more nuanced view of the situation. I do not care for the new attitude of this spa. I will recommend people choose other salons in town.
