On a trip, these sorts of convenience drugstore combos can supply a variety of needs when you don't need a grocery or a full fledged big box store. Back east, this is my preferred chain from my years around here. We have other options at home out west, though CVS has taken over the pharmacy unit in our local Targets. This store is more compact than the large grocery chain across the street so if you need a few items you know they will have, it's a good choice to save a lot of time. I used it twice on a recent trip. It was quick and friendly and if I had had a loyalty card it would have been a better price on nearly everything. read more

This weekend while visiting family on the Cape I needed to run to a store to pick up some medication late at night. I decided to go to CVS in downtown because I have always had great experiences here. Since this store is 24 /7 it was nice to be able to go so late in the evening. The store was well stocked and packed with items which made finding the item I was looking for pretty easy. The late night staff here seemed nice enough but it was difficult to find them to ask them where to find an item I was having difficulties with . In the end this is a really nice store with a great selection. I was able to get what I needed without much effort and be in and out in a flash! This store was also located at convenient area. If I need to hit up a late night store in the future this will definitely be the one. read more

For a 24 hour CVS (the pharmacy has the same hours), it's great. Clean inside&out. Friendly, helpful service, especially when it comes to explaining medications&insurance. Medications are filled promptly. Sometimes there can be a wait, but the service in general is swift. They'll send texts and give discounts if you join. There's ample parking, and they even have a good magazine section. They have great prices. Overall, a good convenience store. read more

This location went through a major renovation that expanded the store and created a larger drive thru area. There is ample parking now and a more modern look. Their expansion allowed them to bring in more product and the bigger staff in the Pharmacy has helped them to get prescriptions out quicker. On the downside though the pharmacy gets so overwhelmed that despite having 6 or 8 people working back there only 1 or 2 are ever manning the registers and they don't always greet you with a smile. read more

Went into CVS on Davis Straits on Friday with my husband to get a flu shot. I was asked if I registered online. I told the girl I had trouble with the app. She quickly said, "That's because there's no appointments!" She rudely turned us away from the pharmacy without being allowed to register because they were busy. So disappointed at being treated so harshly. read more

Most of the time I go at 6 AM, Brian the pharmacist is the best, along with Tony....but a few of the drive in window people that you get during the day need to attend a "customer service refresher course" again. There is a tattooed gentleman that I would love to pull through the window and smack him...but that's not allowed. But I am giving them 4 stars because of the all night service they provide at this store. read more

Went through the drive through because I had groceries in the car and a long drive. Barbara told me it would take her 10 minutes to refill the prescription, made me drive around in circles, and was extremely rude. Was really hoping when they re-built this whole thing, they'd hire more efficient staff but looks like I'll go back to the other location next to Tedeschi's again :/ I'd rather be able to walk right in and pick it up than be told to drive around in circles through the parking lot while she holds my insurance card hostage... read more

I don't go here for any reason other than to get my film developed and printed. With that said, I'm here at least once a week, sometimes more, and I know how monotonous customer service/retail can be, I have essentially the same job. Every time I go in, I have the same order, nothing changes. I say please and thank you, act attentive to the photo tech helping me, yet their always cold, and are seemingly annoyed whenever I approach the photo counter. Maybe its because the subject matter of my photos isn't always the most socially appropriate, or because they hate their job just as much as the next, whatever. The least they can do is put on the "happy face" on for the painful 45 second interaction, and just say something, just acknowledge me. I know it'd make my experience here a little better, and would save me from calling and making an a$%^*@! complaint to the office. read more

I continue to be impressed with how rude and unhelpful the pharmacy staff can be. On a consistent basis, the staff demonstrates zero customer service skills. CVS has a lock on so much of the pharmacy / insurance market so maybe they think customer service doesn't matter. I don't know if all of the CVS stores are as bad as this one, but I don't think any store could be worse. I haven't had a problem with the rest of the store and the cashiers but the pharmacy staff is horrible, indifferent and unfriendly. My husband went in today to pick up a prescription with a coupon from CVS that would have saved us $45. The person at the counter was exasperated, told my husband it was going to take her a half hour to process the coupon and was clearly very annoyed. She scolded my husband that he should have called first to tell her we had a coupon. Nothing on the coupon indicated we should call first. Just another day at CVS....they are terrible. read more

A relative moved here recently and is getting automated calls that 'the prescription is ready.' There's no prescription with CVS. I called to have the automated calls stopped as CVS has the wrong number. Was told by the pharmacy staff that there's nothing they can do about it and to call 1 800 shop cvs, which is nothing but an endless stream of computer menu choices and you still need the person's name and birthdate to stop the calls. Totally unhelpful and the annoying calls keep coming. Won't be 'shopping CVS.' read more
