I'm out of town with my wife and she forgot her medicine. It's about 8:40pm and I checked the closest CVS pharmacy closes at 9pm. We rushed and got there 10 minutes before closing time. By the way, trying to call is just a waste of time so don't even try. My wife explained the situation to pharmacists and they are all willing to help. The problem is they are all ready to go home. Yarejya ( not sure if I got it correctly) saw my wife's desperation to get her medicine so she went above and beyond to transfer the prescription from my city to theirs. Alex was also very helpful, she was compassionate and very willing. Both of them were heaven sent to my me and my wife ! Got the medicine my wife needed before they closed. Went through CVS Pharmacy drive through Saturday morning (8/3) to pick up something with my wife. The guy working here was TERRIBLE. We waited for a couple minutes without being helped, and had to eventually use the Call button. He ended up giving us attitude with an eye roll instead of clarifying or indicating he was helping someone else out (like any normal employee would have done and we would have been understanding). He clearly didn't want to be working and it was almost laughable how slow he was moving. Not sure how this guy still has a job, but if you're looking for a quick drive through pharmacy at a non-crowded time, this isn't the place. read more

I am visiting from out of state. I dropped in at your Lomita Ca store at 2001 PCH to pick up my Rx, one of which is not covered by insurance but is normally 1.90 at my CVS on WOODSTONE in St Peters Mo. When I questioned why it was 15.00 instead of 1.90, reply was each store does things differently and this store chooses not to help consumers by getting them the best price or to say they are to lazy. This store really needs an adjustment/training for proper customer service. Their whole demeanor reads of pure laziness. No smile no greeting just existing. Multiple times their system did not receive my medicine order from multiple doctors until it reappeared. They close at 8pm and when 2 minutes late my get turned me and at least a couple others away. We should have used a pharmacy delivery service instead. We really wanted that medicine. read more

They dont care about customers, who are sick, waiting in long lines, while there are plenty of staff behind the window but none open another register. Drive through window says lunch from 12:30 to 1, but no one comes until 1:15, while cars back up in line. You cant get a live person to talk to on the phone in the pharmacy to answer a question. on 10/1/25 I picked up fluricul 5% chemotherapy cream for my chest to treat multiple precancerous lesions. I opened the pharm ba I pulled out the box and it just said follow insert. I sat their and read the insert for at least 25 minutes. I got up several times and asked the parmacist several questions due to being scared to use it and rightlt so. He answered my questions instead of telling me t6o read the instructions that my derm sent. insert used twice daily,derm 0nce at night, insert around 4 weeks derm 13 days specifically. My chest has been very painfully needlessly so. this is and was extremely dangerous situation!!! I have since moved back to Walgreens on Anza and Pacific coast hwy in Torrance due to their efficiency even though CVS is my insurance preferred provider. Elaine B. read more

THIS CVS IS EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY!!!!! I have been coming here since 2014. They all know me since I take so many meds, and they're ALL ALWAYS KIND. If anybody had ever had a problem with any of the employees at this CVS, I can only believe the problem must've begin with the customer or there was a miscommunication and misunderstanding. I say that because I know I can be a pain and inconvenient, but they still always treat me like family!! They all go out of their way to help me whenever they can, they're patient with me even I make mistakes, and I don't think they have ever made any mistakes on my meds. I also really love being able to get my immunizations here; it's so convenient!! I can't imagine what must've happened with other people for cause them to write negative reviews. The girl working Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 8 AM really irritated me. In fact, her absolutely ass-backwards way of doing things completely infuriated me. She was forcing customers to use the self-checkout terminals rather than standing behind the counter and ringing customers herself. She even went as far as to spin the POS terminal screen around, so that she could operate it without having to stand behind the counter, AND would not allow cash transactions at the register, all so that she wouldn't have to stand behind the counter and have to walk around to greet customers as they came in. If she wasn't so ass-backwards and set on making things convenient for HER, (not the customers), she would realize that by her not only encouraging customers to use self-checkout, but forcing them to, is actually replacing her job!! In the past, when using self-checkout, coupons and rewards were not applied, and I ended up having to return my items and be rung up again, as there is a limited time in which I must apply said coupons and rewards. So, to avoid all this, I get rung up at the register rather than using self-checkout. But, what really was the icing on the cake was her smart ass comment of, "all you have to do is read what's on the screen and follow the instructions to apply coupons" Followed by, "as long as you can read and follow instructions, it's simple." I told her that I could read just fine, and just left it at that before I ended up doing something I'd regret. She needs to realize that until the store does away with the cash registers behind the counter completely, it's the customers' right to choose how they are rung up- whether by a store associate behind the counter, or by themselves, using self checkout and stop being mad at customers who prefer to be rung up, all 'cuz it inconveniences her! Her words that prove her ass-backwards logic: "I hate having to run back and forth between having to be behind the register & having to be on the floor, so, I just do it this way because it's easier for me." So, to make things easier on/for her lazy ass, I ended up being inconvenienced, irritated, and infuriated!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!! Other than this specific incident, this CVS location is a rather unimpressive one, but gets the job done. Inventory, (what they have in stock), is hit & miss, but, I don't expect much, knowing that a larger, "full-sized," store is just a few blocks down the street. This location is the most convenient for me, and if they don't have something I need, I simply go to the other one down the street. read more

Well, screw you if you get out of urgent care for immense at 7:50 and you get to this pharmacy at 8:05, because guess what?? They close at 8! It doesn't make any sense that a pharmacy would close at 8 while urgent cares are open later than that. I googled this pharmacy before I told them where to send it and it said they closed at 9pm. Even the urgent care said they closed at 9. But nope. They close at 8. So if you're in a lot of pain and know you'll need medications in order to sleep tonight, go to urgent care early. I feel safe coming here during late hours without having to worry about who might be creeping up behind me. [+1] I purchase my stationary and magazines here because I always find the one I want out of their selection! They keep a couple special magazines longer than they're supposed to I believe so when I happen to forget to buy a special edition magazine I always stop here to see if they have it! They usually do! [+1] In addition, they have amazing stickers (I come here for the alphabet stickers) and card choices (I come here to find solid patterns to turn them into cut out cards)! [-1] Occasionally, I restock on my makeup but they're always usually out of Neutrogena... ;( [+1] Oh, their photo printing station is actually quite good... o.o;;; Was kind of surprised. For a regular single photo print 4x6 it's 30 cents and they came out really nice! I stuck a couple in frames and they look like the real deal! This review is for their COVID vaccination process. Super efficient, they collect your info online so no paperwork to fill out there. When you enter the store, someone checks you in off a list right there then directs you where to go. They set up a separate small enclosure away from the pharmacy counter for privacy. Another person fills out your card then a third person administers the shot. You are in and done with the shot in about 5 minutes! Then you wait the 15 minutes on a chair to make sure you don't have an adverse reaction and then you're done! I love the efficiency. In contrast, I've seen it done elsewhere and the process was just a lot more painstaking. Definitely go here if you can get an appt! They tend to open up after midnight!! read more

I ordered photo prints in mixed sizes using the app. Right before my pick up I was told that they didn't have the 11x14s because they had been out of the paper for weeks and there was no way to update the website. Then when I did my pick up I didn't check the order until I got home and noticed that it was missing all of the 4x6. I was also disappointed that the clerk kept touching all over the photos before they were handed to me. They also choose to use a paper clip to hold the photos together which ruined the top picture. I called to ask if the missing prints were still at the store and was told that the machine hadn't been working for that size. I'm very disappointed and frustrated and don't understand why I wasn't told all of this when I placed my order. Why did I have to find all this out at pick up? read more

What's up with this place? Photo machines are very slow and the usb cords to plug your phone in are all broken. Their fridges have been broken for months and stink. Went in today and they had random things stacked in the freezer obviously not in a good consuming condition. Went to grab a soda and all were frozen and exploding out their caps. At least put signs up saying "out of order". Also, there's never a cashier in sight. They rely on the self service stations. I have been frequenting this CVS for a while now since my company began using Caremark for prescriptions. The main thing I appreciate about this pharmacy is the drive thru-can't beat that! The pharmacy has always been great for me...text message reminders for pick up, always available and attentive when I call or have questions, and the staff has always been courteous! One young lady even knew how to pronounce my name correctly without me telling her! That's rare! Today, I decided to go into the store and they had Poppcorners (chips made out of popcorn) in a large sized bag. I'd never seen that before! I took two bags to the pharmacy, which had a little bit of a wait, but I didn't mind because Janet was very kind in addressing each person in line to acknowledge the wait in a sincere fashion. I had called yesterday to ask that another prescription be filled - it wasn't. But Janet asked if I had a moment to wait for it to be filled, which I did, then filled it within minutes. This CVS should get a negative five stars for the following: 1. Terrible attitude: when I walked in with a receipt and the merchandise I wanted to return, Mr. Cashier (an African American guy) asked me: "Why can't you go to the CVS you bought these from?" He had a very long face and an attitude which made me feel like I committed a crime and was caught on the spot! I told him I had never had any problem returning anything to any CVS store regardless where I bought it. He ignored me. So I had to have him call his manager for assistance. 2. The store manager Vannek agreed to ring up the refund for me, but he took two dollars (plus tax) out of my refund. I corrected him, he said he had to do it because there's a $6 coupon I used for my purchase. He was either too bad in doing simple math, or he did it intentionally just to penalize me for returning the stuffs I bought from another CVS store. Anyway being there for 45 minutes, I ended up with partial refund and really bad attitude from both the store manager and his employee. There was no apology, no patience and absolutely no customer service at this CVS store. The store manager even harassed me by saying, "go ahead and give your feedback to CVS and anyone you want, and tell them to come to talk to me. Be sure to include my name!" 3. The reason I returned two out of three items I bought was because for exactly the same thing, Walmart's prices are $5 and $8 dollars cheaper, CVS sure knows how to rip us off! This review is based on my experience with getting a Vaccination on a late morning visit on a weekday. The process was fairly straightforward and fast for a walk-in visit. I walked up to the pharmacy window. There was only one other customer in front of me. Waited about 5 minutes for my turn. Took about 5 minutes to fill out the paperwork, then was directed to wait in the partition section for the Pharmacist to give me the vaccine. The Pharmacist was out in less than 5 minutes. From the time I walked into CVS to getting the vaccine took less than 20 minutes. The only negative aspect of the visit was when I inquired about the paperwork for the vaccination, tge pharmacist instructed me to line up at the counter to have the clerk to print it out for me. It would have been a much better experience if the pharmacist had printed it out and given the aftercare instructions to me as soon as the vaccine was given, then to wait inline again. After the vaccination, I would prefer to go straight home than to stand in line to pick up my aftercare instructions. It would be nice if the clerk had printed out the paperwork after I checked in, and have the pharmacist handed me the paperwork right after my shot, so that I could review the aftercare instructions during my 15 minutes post vaccination observation period. I would have picked up more tynenol at the store before heading home. A family member had to make another trip for tynenol later for the low grade fever and discomfort. If they had given me the aftercare instructions at the time of vaccination, it would have been a much better customer experience. read more

The pharmacy was very helpful with my prescription. My doctor's office said that they called in a prescription so I went to pick it up. It turn out that the doctor never ordered it. The pharmacist called the doctor's office and got the prescription authorized and they filled it while I was waiting. They were awesome! I have gotten flu shots here in the past and they were quick and painless. I will continue to shop at this CVS for everything I need. read more

This location for the most part has mostly 1 star reviews for good reason. They sold me tainted eye drops a few months ago. Who keeps all their receipts. The FDA just recalled most of the eye drops they sell and the FDA website said CVS will give you a full refund. When I brought the drops back, the cashier was clueless about the recall, I had to hand her a print out of the recall list. There are no eye drops on their shelves for less than $10 and I know I paid at least that much. They gave me crredit for the tainted eye drops $3.69 which I know there is no way that is how much I paid. I paid much more. I think they deliberately lower the price for people when they bring back the tainted eye drops. After I got my "gift card" for $8 for tainted drops I most likely paid $18, I went back to the eye drop shelf and there was no eye drops for less than $13. I brought the least expensive eye drops up to the check out counter and counter is was $16. The cashier called the manager and he called me "Bro" "You baught the cheap drops" I said "cheap drops, it says CVS Health, equvileant to a major brand". So I have to assume from the managers answer, that CVS may have known these drops were tainted so that is why they sold them for so much less than the other brands if I am to understand the manager's reaction and based on the refund they gave me. CVS is a dieing company and the manager at this location reflects that. I switch a few years ago from CVS to Walgreens for my medications because the kept requesting refills with out my permission and I did not ever approve auto-refill. CVS has been investigated for this practice. I say all beware of CVS. Shop elsewhere. I looked up the drops I purchased online and even though they have been recalled and they list the drops as "Unavailable" as these drops have been recalled, they list the drops at about what I think I paid which is twice what they gave me for the tainted drops. Honestly, I was asked numerous times for a number and email address and when I got home he forgot to add my 16.00 make up. I was charged for it he just didn't put it in the bag. He didn't give me the receipt but I know he charged it because I looked at him and at the register screen while he charged it. He didn't offer a receipt and was very talkative that I don't think he put much attention. I don't know what the 80.00 dollar charge was in total but I live 40 minutes from there and it was by far the worst experience I had with no way to receive or review what he charged me for. I changed to this pharmacy after my local Rite-Aid went out of business. I had been at the same Rite-Aid for about 20 years so was pretty hesitant when I had to change pharmacy. My closes Rite-Aid was not convenient so decided to finally give CVS a try. Have not been disappointed. Everyone in the pharmacy is very friendly and helpful. My whole family changed to this pharmacy with ease and have been satisfied! They have all my meditation on auto-refill and send text alerts when they are ready for pick up. Their website is also very convenient to use when I need to look at my whole prescription history, etc. ALSO, every-time i pick up medicine i get extra care bucks to use! So far they have ranged from 2-5$. Free money to spend in the store! Only reason I'm giving four stars is because the pharmacy can get really busy at times, so can the drive thru!
