Wow not sure why so many bad reviews but went in today for a quick pick up and was immediately greeted by staff and assisted immediately. At check out I think Jackie assisted me and so friendly but also really informative as well. She also reminded me of the coupons attached to my receipt and ended up picking up a few more items and saved $9 buckaroos!!! My husband and I are on a road trip from Virginia to California -- and needed to get two vaccines (covid booster and TDAP) while in Las Vegas for only one week. We scheduled the appointments for both of us on-line for the following day at 10 am. While there was some minor confusion when we arrived, this CVS is deserving of a 4.5-star review which I've rounded up to 5. Here's why. 1. The pharmacist came over to me to discuss and to ensure that I was aware of a potential interaction between one of my current medications and the covid booster. Kudos to the pharmacist for carefully reviewing my record. 2. The pharmacy tech who administered the injections for both of us was excellent. We hardly felt the shots! 3. We were a bit early for our appointments, and were asked to wait near the area where injections are administered. A staff member politely told us after a few minutes that we would be served "soon" and, in fact, the pharmacy tech came exactly at 10 am, our appointment time. 4. While checking out a few additional items at the self-serve register, an employee dropped by to ensure that we got all of the discounts to which we were entitled. However, we had two concerns. As mentioned earlier, there was a minor mix-up when we first came in. (They were initially unable to find our appointments in the computer). This was quickly resolved. Our other concern was that we were never asked to show identification. As mentioned, we're from Virginia, and were visiting this CVS in Las Vegas for the first time. read more

This CVS has been going quickly downhill on rollerskates for the last year. Went there Friday afternoon to pick up some sundries. First of all, the self check out almost is never working. The person who is up at the front who's supposed to help people do regular check out or help with the self check out was half asleep, playing on her phone. Called out for someone to assist me, and this 80 something-year-old man comes over. E turned out to not know how to do anything. So then I looked at the lady who was there, and said "can you PLEASE help me? This gentleman doesn't know what he's doing." And with a puff and a puff she came over. Apparently asking the person whose job is to help people check out, for help, was the wrong idea because that's when the harassment started. I was alternately told that unless I provide my personal information to sign up for their Customer program, I could not check out at all. Then I was told that I could check out, but that I couldn't get any discounts. I then provided my phone number, which was active in the system. And was then asked to provide identification as to whether or not that is actually me. I then was asked to provide my first name, last name, address, date of birth, email address, and on and on... When I asked "so if I don't provide you with every bit of digital information that identifies me, you're going to hold me here not allowing me to check out? "That's right, we can't allow you to check out unless you provide all of this information" I said fine, I don't want the discount, I'll simply purchase this one item item at full price, instead of the rest of everything. My people are waiting for me in the car." She's her tune, insisting that suddenly she all HAD all of the information needed, and that she could proceed to finalize the sale. I have sent something to find out that the only thing that's necessary is my phone number and my first name and initial of my last name. So on top of everything else, the store employee flat out lied to my face on top of harassing me when all I wanted to do was simply purchase some product. Again, this has to currently be the single worst CVS Pharmacy in the entire chain. Clearly the store general manager had left for the day, so the people working felt that they could run a muck and harassed the customers. I definitely won't be coming back to this location, and I am currently looking at other pharmacies to move my prescriptions away from CVS completely. read more

31-3=28 (may)+June 1+ June 2=30 days This means my prescriptions are to be filled. Unfortunately, CVS continuously refuses to fill my prescription. They always have an excuse and customer service will only help if you speak to pharmacist, getting same information, then call them back. I have to miss a few days of my prescription every month for the last 3 to 4 months. I also have to call my doctor, to have her contact the pharmacy, just to have my prescription filled. The store is pitiful, as there usually is one or two employees on the floor. This store deserves to go out of business and the customers and employees deserve better. read more

This is the worst pharmacy! New to the area? Go anywhere else! I've used this pharmacy for 16 years out of convenience but it is no longer convenient at all. The pharmacists are lazy and will only do their job when they feel like it. Many times, they don't even have the medication. Recently one of my meds was switched and I had to wait weeks for them to finally say they don't know when they'll have it in stock. But in those weeks they kept saying it will be here tomorrow. I have not had a bad experience at this location. The staff are friendly and even the manger, like if I have a problem they'll assist and make it work. I went to the CVS on Russell and Fort Apache to ask about getting my medication transferred, and the lady working there immediately had an attitude for no reason. I was polite and just trying to get help, but she seemed irritated, confused, and hard to communicate with, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. She told me the transfer would take 24-72 hours, which didn't make sense. I ended up going to another pharmacy just down the street, where the gentleman there was extremely helpful and had my medication ready within 20 minutes. The difference in professionalism and customer service was night and day. I won't be coming back to this CVS -- they really need to improve how they treat customers and make sure staff are better trained to assist people properly read more

The morning crew (specifically one of the pharmacists) is awful. The afternoon crew is great. I can't even get medication filled on the correct date when going out of town for a funeral. Absolutely insane. They change the dates every month to make it difficult and I've called in the afternoon on several occasions and been told "i don't know why they said your medication can't be filled, it can". The worst Pharmacy in Las Vegas! The pharmacists here and the pharmacy staff are incompetent. I was told the prescription that I normally pick up in 15 minutes wouldn't be available for an hour. This was after the clerk took about 20 minutes to even read the prescription for Vitamin D. I told her it was a weekly pill. She then had e to go ask someone who was on the phone the same question. You didn't tell me until the end it's going to take an hour. She even said you want me to do it expedited. That means it's going to take another 20 minutes to input all the information. No, thank you! I went back to the pharmacy after 3 hours. They were taking 20 minutes to hand someone their prescription. 20 minutes!! People could die waiting in line before these people would help you. I decide 2 use the drive-thru since I have neck issues that are made worse by standing. Another 20 minutes in line where I literally would have to turn off my engine every time someone ahead of me pulled ahead. Finally, I get to the front of the line and the guy working the cash register must e told me an insurance that I've had for a year-and-a-half doesn't kick in until next year. what?? Seriously ? I have ave picked up the same prescription at least twice there. The girl gets her panties in a wad because I ask her what are you talking about? She runs away from the window. I proceeded to call the pharmacy on my phone and some big dude shows up at the window. I ask him if he's the manager. He claims to be but l dunno. I had to repeat my name three times. I had to repeat my birthday even though he had my driver's license showing him all of the data. These ppl have no business working at the pharmacy. After this repeated nonsense continued for 40 minutes, I reqd my prescription back because these people cant even get a vitamin D prescription correct. Poor Pharmacy communication regarding vaccine before they collect payment and have you waiting. At the check in and pick up window they should know what they can do before having you fill out paper taking payment only for the pharmacist to come 30 mins later and say she can't do it. I have never had a worse experience with the pharmacy than I have here. They will notify you that your prescriptions are ready and then you go to pick it up and it's not there. They will also bill any other insurance that on file other than the primary causing a huge issue. The attitudes of the workers are ABYSMAL. I understand you guys are struggling to keep staff and what not but the disrespect I have received FROM MULTIPLE OF THESE EMPLOYEES IS SHAMEFUL. I have left this pharmacy crying multiple times. Today was my last straw I came in before 1:30 and was denied cause it was lunch. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and needed the cough meds and antibiotics badly. I had to go another few hours to get some sort of relief. Not even a kind dismissal it was so beyond rude. I have lived around the corner from this pharmacy for years and they have continually let me down: so go to Walgreens they tend to be kinder and take the time FOR YOU. Absolutely the worst CVS in town. Would not fill a script sent by my provider after they said they had the medication IN STOCK. My provider called to figure out why and they transferred the provider to three different people and would not answer why THEY were the only CVS in the us that can make up rules and state they are not taking new patients. They then HUNG UP and refused to answer her call and would put her on hold because they recognized the phone number. She had to speak to the CVS store manager and will be calling CVS headquarters. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. They are unprofessional, rude and incompetent. If it were possible to give negative stars, I would. The staff working the closing shift on 1/29/24 are the rudest people I've ever encountered. I simply needed to pick up laundry soap and they refused to let me in the door 5 minutes before closing. They lied to me saying that all computers had been shut down yet they still had another customer in the store. In fact, the driver for the other customer told me they should let me in because it was still before closing and his girl friend was still in the store. Bravo for those employees at pharmacies exposing themselves with us patrons who some come in sneezing, hacking away and some may also have a temperature. They assist and explain, guiding us for a healthier us. Today, Tanya escorted and maneuvered her way around the aisles and products explaining the products I inquired about. She was on it! I have been staying with this pharmacy for five years. It was great when pharmacists Sarah and Roger were here before. Not only because of the great pharmacists but also with the excellent service from techs. But today's experience was terrible. The Tanya is the worst pharmacist- tech I have ever seen! She doesn't know the insulin types well with the price either. The new pharmacist's name is Mei. Located right next door to my work so I do stop in quite frequently. Used to be my main pharmacy but they no longer took my insurance so I had to switch over to Walgreens. Staff is pretty nice. Never had a problem. Pharmacist is pretty helpful. When I or my doctor have questions regarding medications we are always able to talk to the pharmacist with ease. read more
