The absolute worst customer service in the history of customer service!!!!. First, they filled the prescription incorrectly... Which is alarming considering it is prescription medicine and they're apparently just doling out Lord knows what! When I called to inform them of the mistake, I was transferred to the pharmacy and the phone rang for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back and went through a 10 minute wait attempting to get a manager. I eventually got through to a manager and was told "All I can do is transfer you to the pharmacy, you'll just have to wait". That was tough to take, but the fact that she used a tone similar to a teenage girl who didn't get her way was quite infuriating. I called back and sat on hold with the pharmacy for another 20 minutes before they just cut the call off. So here I sit with prescription medicine that is incorrect. I will have to drive into the store and will most likely be told that they don't have the correct medicine. I usually deal with the CVS on route 303 in Streetsboro, I've never had a problem there. Actually, the employees at the CVS in Streetsboro are professional and courteous. The Kent CVS store is shockingly incompetent and rude, But at least they make up for it by not servicing the customer. read more

This CVS is larger than what I have closer to home. I came here specifically for Minute Clinic and I am not disappointed! I walked in the door to a very clean and neat store with a direct shot to Minute Clinic. Signing in took awhile, but the wait was speedy. From the time I signed in to the time I walked out with a script was about 1 hour! Faster than seeing my doctor! Everyone was friendly and helpful. My questions were answered with patience and understanding. I really could not have had better service! If I need to go back someday, this is the place I will be returning to! read more

They are a very busy pharmacy but if you go in the store and speak to someone in a positive way they are always very courteous. The pharmacist always explains things well. Be patient. The health care system sucks but don't take your anger out on them. read more

Genuinely the worst pharmacy ive ever been to. They have medicine falling off the shelves in bags ready to go. The line for the drive thru is wrapped around the building, the line instead has at least 10 people. Ive been here twice waiting for my medication that has been authorized 3 days ago and they keep saying it hasn't. I was told to go to another line where a woman asked me "what do i want?" I just noticed my review from four years ago. I wish things had gotten better. No such luck. I understand the issue with being shorthanded and busy, but I've called all day and spent over two and a half hours total on hold before getting disconnected each time. Drug Mart gets much better reviews. I'll have to try them even though it's an inconvenience. Pathetic! Pharmacy manager Alyssa is incompetent and as compassionate as a loan shark. You can expect them to screw your prescription up until you are left without any of the medication prescribed and all they can do is try to blame anyone else. This CVS is a little small but every single person in the store is friendly and helpful. I love browsing the aisles while waiting for prescription refills and end up buying all kinds of beauty supplies I don't really need (just ask my hubby how many lip glosses I have). I was very satisfied with the minute clinic at this location after a visit for an ear infection. I was in and out so quickly and even had my prescription filled very fast at the pharmacy! My nurse practitioner was very nice and empathetic. read more

Unfortunately, it takes them 24 hours to fill a transferred prescription. This is a pretty big inconvenience to me. Just hoping the person who gives it to me tomorrow does not act like I am the world's biggest inconvenience to them, as the little b**** who I dropped it off to did. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. Time after time I have had trouble with them filling my prescriptions. I called in a prescription recently the day before it was due, went through the automated system, and everything said it was good and went through. I didn't need it right away, so a few days later my husband went to pick it up on his way home from work, and when he got there, they said they couldn't fill it because it was expired. I had called the day before it expired, and it said everything went through. My greatest problem with this is that no one called me to tell me they couldn't fill it. They just lazily flagged it. We don't even live in Kent anymore, so it was a complete waste of a drive for my husband and completely unprofessional. The least they could have done is pick up the phone and let me know that I need to call my doctor for the prescription again. What if I had really needed it right away?!? read more

I feel a little funny reviewing a CVS, but this one did make an impression. I managed to come down with a cold right before flying, so I went in to purchase some decongestant. In doing so, I happened to notice that they had many homeopathic remedies as well. Since when does CVS carry homeopathic medicine? Then I stopped to grab some tissues, and saw that CVS now has its own brand of recycled toilet paper. This is obviously not the CVS of my childhood! It does still have all the standard cosmetics, remedies, household items, and doo-dads, but I was impressed at the variety of their range. read more

The pharmacy staff here is excellent from the younger techs to the pharmacists! Very friendly, helpful, and get scripts filled as fast as they can. At other pharmacies the staff is always unfriendly, stressed, ignore you, etc. But at the cvs in Kent they actually seem happy to be there. read more
