Which is alarming considering it is prescription medicine and they're apparently just doling out Lord knows what! When I called to inform them of the mistake, I was transferred to the pharmacy and the phone rang for 20 minutes. I hung up and called back and went through a 10 minute wait attempting to get a manager. I eventually got through to a manager and was told "All I can do is transfer you to the pharmacy, you'll just have to wait". That was tough to take, but the fact that she used a tone similar to a teenage girl who didn't get her way was quite infuriating. I called back and sat on hold with the pharmacy for another 20 minutes before they just cut the call off. So here I sit with prescription medicine that is incorrect. I will have to drive into the store and will most likely be told that they don't have the correct medicine. I usually deal with the CVS on route 303 in Streetsboro, I've never had a problem there. Actually, the employees at the CVS in Streetsboro are professional and courteous. The Kent CVS store is shockingly incompetent and rude, But at least they make up for it by not servicing the customer.

The pharmacy is also outstanding Abdul and Jason are the pharmacist they are always busy but take a moment to say hello . The staff in the pharmacy is nice friendly and very professional. I'm glad I brought my business to them from another pharmacy it was a great move.

Slowest pharmacy pickup I think I've ever experienced. The woman at the window was East Indian or…read moresomething similar, and I just couldn't understand her heavy accent. Worse, she and another worker dithered in conversation with each other before she finally told me they had no money in the drawer to give me change--at 9:30, half hour after opening. She said it would be a minute before the man arrived with the money, then admitted more likely 5 minutes. After losing my temper and telling her it was ridiculous, I dug in my purse for exact change. She kept pushing around my coins in her hand until it became apparent that she couldn't count US coins. I will only return if no other store has my drug except them.

I guess this Giant Eagle sells alcohol only to a certain limit of ABV (Alcohol By Volume) or proof? Like certain beer and wines were available, but not Tequila or vodka? You have to visit a "State Store" for that? I understand that buying alcohol on Sundays can get tricky too. Weird laws in Ohio, but whatever. Outside of that, it was a perfectly normal grocery store with all of the regular grocery store stuff. Meat, produce, deli, even a pharmacy. Service was friendly. We found that in general the Ohio locals were friendly and welcoming - even to us California folks. If I were to compare Giant Eagle to a California chain, I'd lean towards it being more like Food 4 Less than Vons.
