This location has the slowest drive thru ever. I came to this location twice today to try to pick up a RX and both times waited over 30 minutes and still left without my RX due to other obligations. As someone with an injury, it isn't always easy to go inside so the drive thru should run more efficiently. There were only 2 cars ahead of me each time. Recently, I placed an online order for in-store pickup. The process was fairly simple, but there were a few things I noticed that stood out--both positive and concerning. Upon arriving at the store, I headed over to the designated pickup area, which was surprisingly integrated with the regular checkout line. The pickup section had a few shelves labeled by last names, but it didn't seem like they kept items readily available there. I'm guessing they probably don't display them for security reasons, though maybe that's just how it is during certain hours. When I approached the cashier, I just gave my name, and they handed me my order right away. No ID or credit card verification was asked for, which was a little surprising. I did receive an email and text notification that my order had been picked up, so it seemed like the store was tracking it in some way, but it felt a little too casual for something that could be misused. Interestingly, the store also had a self-checkout station, which I thought was a nice feature for anyone who wants to skip the longer checkout line, especially when the cashiers are moving slower than usual. Overall, while it was nice that the pickup worked, I couldn't help but feel that the lack of safety measures--like ID checks--made it a bit less secure than I expected. read more

Rude and condescending and nonexistent customer service skills. They post inaccurate information referencing your RXs on the app and get confrontational when you call and ask a question. Newsflash ....if you do not understand how prior authorizations work, don't attempt to answer simple questions. Was on the phone for 10 minutes no one ever picked the phone up. I called four different times no one ever picks up the phone, sorry customer service, poor business. All I wanted to know where my photos ready from the order I placed early this morning. The time now was 4:10 PM. Their photo advertisements are super, but they can't live up to them.!!!!!!!! CVS @ Normandy & Fouracre is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever done business with. They lose prescriptions, send text prompts for pickups when they haven't yet filled them, and don't get me started on their abysmal store to home delivery service. read more

I arrived at the store 12 minutes before closing and got in the drive-through line. While the people took their time filling the prescription in front of me then they took it upon themselves at one minute before six to pull down the blinds and close the drive-through even though I had been sitting there for at that time 11 minutes. When I pulled up the girl on the speaker tells me I should have come inside and that's why "they always tell people to come inside when it's getting close to closing. Meanwhile on the website it says they close at seven but apparently they decided to close early at this location these days. So apparently the nonexistent sign that says if it's within 15 minutes of closing you should just come inside is what notified me that I should've been inside instead of in the drive-through because they felt like closing early. Then the girl says well what can I prepare for you tomorrow.? Well I'm here today, that is not helpful for me, I actually have a job and I can't just drive over here anytime I feel like it. I'm so sick of these companies having the worst customer service and not even caring. Look it's 6 o'clock and would it seriously kill you to ring up one more prescription? Like it's my fault that it took you more than 12 minutes to fill the prescription in front of me. There is zero accountability for these corporations and because we need our medicine we are stuck dealing with their awful customer service and terrible attitudes. This is one of the best CVS I've ever been too! The Saturday staff (on July 23rd) at the pharmacy truly understand customer service ! Like I have never had such a pleasant experience. The guy's name was KC who took care of me and remembered my name, made eye contact, and was just simply giving great service! Definitely will go to this CVS over the others in the area. The pharmacist ‍ and the other lady whose names I didn't catch were also very friendly and smiling and laughing, like doing their job and enjoying it. Sad this isn't normal anymore. Extremely slow service for refills already at CVS.. at least 24 to 48 hours. Staff routinely leaves you on hold and either hangs up and or will refuse to return to the call. If you are ever lucky enough to speak to a representative, they are rude, condescending, unapologetic.. generally treat you like you are an intrusion and not worthy or their time. read more

Increasingly rude. The sales person handed me a wrong bag which was only filled up with paper trash, no item I paid inside , crazy enough. then when I went back to the store, the sales person accused me of being wrong and went somewhere to check the security camera for this. I felt so stupid while waiting!!!!!! And then she said I must have been picked a wrong trash filled bag, excuse me? Did I pick the bag from the counter? It was handed over to me, whatever! I would never ever want to do this over an inexpensive bottle of aspirin. From now on, when I handed over a bag, I will check inside immediately but I would never go back this location. read more

This pharmacy is nasty. DO NOT GO THERE. the pharmacist SARAH is nasty and so rude. She don't want to help no one and think everything is a nasty joke. Imagine being in pain and try to get your medicine and the lady want to be nasty to you and lie about things just to turn you around and deny you.. Do not believe them about COVID testing. 11 days ago I went to CVS to get Covid testing and I still do not have any results. They did bill the insurance company. When you call, they tell you to call 866-389-2727 and then they take some info and "connect" you to a rep who never comes on the line and you just wait on hold until the system cuts you off. This is the worst pharmacy in the city of Jacksonville in my opinion. There customer service skills are non-existence. I just spent 30 minutes in line to pick up a prescription transmitted to them from the Hospital. After waiting in line behind a dozen people, they tech said she did not see a prescription there yet. When I asked if there was a way to see if it was in the queue or possibly sent to a different location, she said I would have to wait in a different line behind another dozen people in line. When I tried to explain we had just waited in a long line. She said she couldn't help that, the other line is for that. Their customer service is why me and my wife pulled our monthly prescriptions. I am now telling all my family, and employees if they want my help with prescriptions they have to stop using CVS and use Walgreens or Publix, because that store does not seem to care. When it was convenient we used the CVS at Target, they were wonderful, but this particular pharmacy is always rude and does not appear to care about their patients. read more

Open 24 /7, but they are almost always short staffed. They tend to be courteous, but if they have several customers, they can seem indifferent. The quality of their medication is always good, reasonably quick, and they are knowledgeable enough to advise about drug interactions. It's reassuring to know that they care about their customers health. When it comes to medication I trust them over my doctor. read more

This pharmacy is ALWAYS under staffed. When you drop off a rx even if you sit and wait in the store you're still going to sit for up to two hours. Been going here for years and they are getting worse. The pharmacy staff are like robots. They are just there for the paycheck and have nasty attitudes. They def need to revamp the staff! The pharmacy is ridiculous. It doesn't matter if your prescriptions are on ready fill, or if you call to check if they are ready. They are never ready when I go there and half the time they don't have them stock. I've picked up meds late several times because of them. They don't call your doctor to refill unless you call and let them know. You are literally managing your own meds aka doing their job. Decent place....clean, well stocked, pleasant employees. The pharmacy is pretty quick with most meds filled within 30 minutes. Love CVS for the coupons! I always get a stack when I check out and recently I started getting 'extra bucks' which is just like free money to use on your purchases. I think they are building a new larger location across Normandy blvd. Which will be more difficult to walk to from the clinic - not to mention it will now be directly across from Walgreens. This location is terrible. The pharmacy wait times have always been long here. It's now 7pm and I am asked to wait 15 minutes for an order I placed this morning. When another car pulled up I was asked to circle the block and get back in line. The pharmacy really sucks. The only reason I use them is because my insurance required it (some kinda partnership).
