This is a very nice location. You go into the store then take the elevator up to the actual shopping area. Once inside, the store is very clean with a large selection of products. For this trip I went to the deli section and ordered a whole chicken tender sub with honey mustard, provolone and some veggies. The pictures I added show half of the sub and just look how packed it is! It's so stuff that I couldn't even finish half of it. If that's not a glorious sub I don't know what is. The whole size cost me $11.99 plus tax and I'll have this thing for maybe three days so that's definitely a great deal! Other options are cheaper but I love their chicken tender sub so that's what I ordered. Workers are very nice, Would definitely come again if I'm in the area and get another sub. read more

I came here on my lunch break for some chicken noodle soup in the deli. There is so much to say about this upscale, immaculately clean and helpful store. I also picked up some fresh fruit and two sandwiches-ready to go for my lunches for two days. I love the underground parking garage. You ride the elevator up to get in to Publix. This Publix is one that I won't go back to again. Ordered 2 subs for pick up at 9:30,,pm. Got there early like around 9:15 and decided to shop while I wait. Went back just as the store was closing to pick up my subs and cash out just for the old guy to NOT even have my orders. I like f'n really..then here comes the supervisor and manager to look at the computer that the orders come in on but IT WAS OFF. 6 mins later..they bother to tell me oh by the way we don't have anymore chicken tenders. I'm thinking fine time to tell me that now yet you STILL didn't even bother to make the second sub either?? No scale. Every Publix has a scale. But somehow, some way, the richy rich store Publix does not. Not convenient at all. Get a scale, all Publix have them, why don't you? Also, get Ada doors at the bottom. How are people who are in mobility devices supposed to get in a door without one? Also, the elevator certifications expired a month ago. Seems like this location has a lot of work to do to be safe and compliant with ADA standards. read more

My first time at a Publix. Jon Neep said in his set last night they have a scale in the store but this one didn't. Dang. Without that they're just a regular grocery store. Inflation knows no borders as everything costs the same here as it does in California. They have the same products. Normal selection normal service. Got a sample of cheesecake or some dessert thing. This complaint is against the pharmacy in the Publix store at 2039 Hendricks Ave Jacksonville Florida 32207 Ste 325. On August 18, 2025 I went to pick up my medicine for COVID that the doctor prescribed, but the pharmacist told me that they do not have my prescription. I am from New York City visiting Jacksonville so when I started feeling sick I went to an urgent care near my home. They gave me a prescription and send me to the nearest pharmacy. When I heard they do not have my prescription I called the urgent care and they say that they already sent it but they will do it again. When I mentioned that to the pharmacist she said that the phones do not work from 2-3 pm because of " some pharmacists may be on lunch". At the time I was at the pharmacy, there were four pharmacists and none seemed to be on lunch. Although if indeed all of the four were supposed to take lunch at the same time I am advising the manager Tara Kendall to create a rotating schedule so that at all time somebody is available. Anyway, I called again the urgent care and tell them that the phones do not work so I asked if there is any other way to send the prescription and to my disbelieve, they told me that they do not use phones they send everything via the computer - nobody is using phones. So the excuse that I cannot get my Covid medicine because of phones not working was not true. When I emphasized to the pharmacist that I am sick with Covid and have chills I was told to sit down. Sitting down in a cold store does not help against feeling cold. Thirty minutes later another person, later I found out that she was the pharmacy manager for the day, came to give me the medicine, her name was Sulay. She had a very threatening demeanor practically bullying me to take the medicine and leave, otherwise I will not get anything. After 30 minutes of waiting in a cold environment with fever, chills and covid I had to take the medicine and say nothing. After I paid I asked if I can also get two Covid tests. The woman told me to get it myself from a shelf about 15 feet away from the her. I did, and I came back at the countertop to pay, but the same person told me that I need to stay in line. So I was asked by a health care professional to wait again with Covid, chills and fever even if I spent there already 30 minutes waiting or if I do not want to wait to go to the self check out on the grocery store side. To summarize, at this pharmacy, to read a prescription and take two boxes of medicine from the shelf took 30 minutes. When I ask to buy a Covid tests instead of somebody helping me to get it so I do not move around too much I was asked to take it myself. And when I wanted to pay I was told that I am cutting the line and to go to the self checkout from the grocery. So by healthcare providers, I was asked even them knowing that I am sick with Covid and symptomatic to go to a grocery public self - check out. Instead of containing and minimizing who I have contact with I was asked to wait for 30 minutes in cold and to check out Covid tests using a grocery store check out. It must be a health hazard violation to knowingly send somebody at a self-check out when they are sick. Lastly, I know the pharmacists delayed giving me the medicine as a power play because the printout from the doctor's office was stamped with 14:09 pm ( current time) and the payment receipt was stamped with 14:36 pm time. Together with the incident regarding the Covid test I was in that place for 45 minutes. With this complaint I do not want anything else but to have Publix and the pharmacy train their people in compassion, understanding for people who are not from this city, and simple hygienic protocols such as you do not send a sick person away from the pharmacy counter to a grocery check out to infect other people. The staff needs to realize how traumatic their behavior was for a person who is sick, from another city and not knowing the procedures so being easily manipulated and lied to by them. read more

Publix is my "go to market" while on the East Coast. The deli is great! I was looking for a particular product that was not available in the deli. The deli manager took off to the other end of the store and brought the product back for me. The store was clean, bright, and very pleasant to be in. I grew to really gravitate towards Publix while teaching in Florida. I really wish they had this brand of Supermarkets in Washington State. read more

It's sometimes ok for a quick trip to grab a couple of items on the way home. It is a smaller store, so they don't have the huge selection of things you might be used to at other locations...the employees even admit that. Lately, I've noticed that some produce is often overripe; there are often panhandlers in the parking garage and inside the elevator lobby. One recently asked me to use the ATM behind him to give him some cash!); and the panhandlers are worse (more 'stoned') at the holidays. Especially if you're out very early one morning. I think I'll just wait until I'm back in my own neighborhood, from now on. The covered parking was the best thing about this Publix for me, but not worth the risks when the panhandlers/zombies like it too. Sorry. read more

If an item is unfound the Publix staff cannot locate it. They have no idea where to look and ask where I have looked. This has happened on multiple visits. If there is a floral special and they are out, instead of offering an alternative they say i can try again tomorrow. read more
