Shopping in Houston, Texas... My niece asked to stop by this particular location of CVS, so I agreed. I told her that I was looking for a sticker from Texas to give as a gift. We found parking in their lot easily and walked in. I asked the clerk if they had any stickers. She escorted me to the rack of souvenirs where I found a Texas-shaped magnet. Hmmm... I'll take it, but I'm still going to look for a sticker... I told the clerk that I have a coupon to use. I looked through my email and found the CVS coupon for 30 percent off of a full-priced item... yay! It showed up on the monitor! This was a great shopping experience! read more

I went to the Pharmacy counter to ask about my medication; The pharmacy tech was assisting me by looking into my profile to check the status of my medication. The Pharmacist approached the tech, and asked what she was helping me with, then she looked at me and asked that I move over to the side. (I guess my medication or reason for being at the store was not important). That was rude and unacceptable, I walked out of the store never to return or recommend that location. It's not the first time its occurred, people at that store are not friendly. read more

There's not a lot to say about CVS. But I wanted to shout out the pharmacist that was super helpful with finding my medication. Everyone here was a delight to work with, and they helped me push my difficult medication through insurance. I'm super grateful for all their help throughout this process! read more

Alright so there was no sign or anything that directs you towards the restroom. Also the hallway light was out (it's one that auto turns on and I had to hit the button). The bathroom itself was nice and clean but had no toilet seat covers in stock, not to mention the SECOND I sat down, somebody tried to come in but luckily I locked the door. Reviews are based on my comfort and if I feel like I have to rush my number 2 break then not cool. Also the water pressure was too low in the sink. 2/5 only because bathroom was clean. read more

Not sure where the bad reviews came from. We've been using this pharmacy for years and are very happy. I have special pharmacy needs and really appreciate the wonderful help I get from Angell and Michelle, the full-time pharmacists on site. They are chronically understaffed for what is a busy pharmacy, but that is not the fault of the folks at this branch: it's the fault of corporate headquarters, and is true for most pharmacies. And I will note that I rarely spend much time on hold and they are very helpful as soon as I get through. In fact, I see that every time I stop in they are running full tilt at what must be an exhausting job. But on top of that they always have a friendly greeting for us and remember us by name. And I see they are like that with other regulars and are generally friendly and helpful for everybody. The staff for the regular store is solid if not spectacular, but that's not really the point. If you need a water you go to a grocery store. But I'm betting that grocery store doesn't have a pharmacy that gives such fantastic personal service! A nod to location: since they are in Rice Village, they get more traffic than your ordinary pharmacy and in weird spikes. Yet they still maintain a welcoming attitude. Much appreciated! read more

WORST.CVS PHARMACY.EVER. Angel - pharmacist. worst.service.ever. Her default move: to put everyone and anyone on hold - indefinitely. Angel and her pharm techs also monitor the caller id - if they don't recognize your number, they'll pick up and give you a chance, only to put you on hold immediately after; however, if you call back and they happen to recognize your number, then you go straight to 'hold' status from the get-go. Beware of this place. Tip: if you drop off your medication prescriptions here in 2017, expect to have them ready, earliest by 2027. Don't even bother with this CVS. Seriously - for your sanity, go elsewhere. read more

Worse location by far . The cashiers are rude in particular Cynthia, she bias against customers , I noticed that she is friendly and talkative to certain customers and rude to others . She was rude and not helpful at all to me , I was so unsatisfied with the service that I had to call and complain. I really hope she changes because I don't want her treating others the ways she treated me . read more

This CVS location is something else. Someone that lived in the area before CVS came to Houston can correct me, but it seems like location used to be an Eckerds. I don't think they changed a thing since they took over. Just slapped some signs up. Everything looks at least 20 years old. The only reason we hit this location is because the RedBox outside was the only one in the area that had the certain movie we were wanting. We just stopped in and bought some water, the workers seemed nice, but they didn't say a single word to us. Usually cashiers at least ask if we have a CVS card before checking us out, but not a single word, much less a thank you. The parking lot was a little scary and very badly lit, a prime place to make you feel like you could be robbed at any moment. Really surprising for being in Rice Village. It's just not up to par with the rest of the neighborhood. read more

There is ZERO way to call and speak to anyone at this pharmacy! Including store manager or a pharmacist!!!! I'm trying to help an elderly neighbor check on her prescriptions and I can't talk to anyone! No store manager number. Nothing! Horrible, horrible, horrible! I'm frustrated, you can only imagine how elderly people who have a difficult time managing prescriptions and can't get around easily must be feeling! Shame on you, CVS!!!!! Never thought I'd actually appreciate the fact that my BCBS insurance doesn't work with you so I have to use Walgreens. I used to love CVS but now CVS is horrible! Certainly this location in Rice Village. It's a shame because the actual pharmacists and employees are super. They just work for a poorly run store/company. read more

Everyone is always very helpful and very nice. It is refreshing to walk in and be greeted by a cheerful employee. Today's service was exceptional. When I was shopping at the store at 6100 Kirbty Dr., the woman at the cash register, Cynthia, went out of her way to help me get the best price for the items I was buying. On another visit, she, again, went out of her way to be helpful. She is a jewel. I hope that the management appreciates her. read more
