Due to COVID I am very understanding as businesses, especially pharmacies, have been inundated. I attempted to get an update on my prescription through the automated system however since last week my prescription has been listed as, "In Progress". Therefore I needed to speak with a representative to see if there was an issue and to get an actual status update. As I am writing this review I have now been on hold pending to speak with a pharmacy representative for 1hr and 18 mins. And now, have been hung up on!!! I have even stood inside of this CVS pharmacy & while waiting to be assisted you can hear a message repeatedly saying, "pharmacy you have a call" and they do not move a muscle to assist that customer and answer that call. It just keeps holding. So I've even felt bad for that customer. Something needs to be done regarding this store and their horrid customer assistance. As I have said, I am completely understanding as there is a pandemic happening. However, this is ridiculous. Even during COVID the CVS pharmacy on Old Cutler has never placed me on hold this long. And then, to later just hang up on them after holding for OVER AN HOUR?!?! Not ok! read more

Worst service and drive thru pick up of prescription takes about an hour and half why they are doing Covid testing from the pick up lane so if you are sick and are picking up a prescription or heart or for diabetes meds.... Terrible service at the pharmacy, you can't talk to a representative on the phone, wait times on phone have been over an hour and a half and then get dropped. While in the store, you can hear the phone line telling all of them that the pharmacy has a call, yet NO ONE goes to answer the phone. I know they are short staffed because of Covid, but the company itself does nothing to help them out. So CVS needs to step up and do what they need to do to improve the pharmacy. I only go to CVS instead of Walgreens because my meds aren't covered under Walgreens. Or else I would never step another foot in their door read more

We went thru the drive thru to get infant Tylenol because there is a sign that clearly says it is available thru the drive thru. The pharmacist said no and that we had to go inside to get it ourselves. We did not have masks so we could not go inside. What a inconvenience. If they cannot get the infant Tylenol at the window, they should not advertise is on a large sign outside the window. read more

Worst customer service and very long hold times. Had a missed call today. I called back and waited on hold for 10 mins to have someone come on and say please hold. Finally got someone and advised I had a missed call and she told me I had two prescriptions ready. I sent my boyfriend to get the prescriptions and was told I did not have anything there. I called again and went thru the whole hold time again and spoke to a different lady who told me they did not have anything for me and did not even show anyone called me. Seems that they called me for someone else's prescription. Makes me wonder if they give out wrong prescriptions. This is about the pharmacy the service in the rest of the store is good. read more

CVS prides itself on excellent customer service and being compassionate to its customers. Unfortunately, we received neither at this particular store today. The pharmacist and her tech seemed overworked and frustrated which most likely contributed to their horrid disposition. The store appeared in disarray, dirty...much different from other CVS stores I have visited throughout our country. I won't be visiting this particular store again. read more

In the medical field, I deal with a lot of pharmacies. This pharmacy is the worst. Poor customer service. Staff who doesn't care and doesn't take responsibility. After waiting on the phone for 30 minutes to talk to the pharmacist, I'm turfed to voicemail. Horrible! read more

This one at US1 and SW 288 St. is the absolute PITTS! You call in a refill, and it takes days to get it done. Sometimes, the robot misses it entirely, you get there and it isn't ready. Only one lane at the drive thru, avaraging 6 cars ahead of you. To talk to a pharmacist on the phone, you have to battle the robot first, which takes about 5 to 7 minutes, then you get thrown into a queue for a half hour at minimum. Inside isn't much better. Long lines, and one person working the whole thing including drive up window. Constant battle getting scripts right, often they don't have enough stock to fill a prescription completely, and they abbreviate or modify the actual prescription, resulting in you having to refill more frequently. Stay away from this place. I have never ever had this problem ever at Walgreens. If it weren't for my substandard employer based insurance mandating CVS, I sure would not. Not on a bet! read more

This review is solely for the pharmacy here at this cvs. Absolute terrible service!!! If I had the option of continuing this review without having to give a single star I would but unfortunately you must at least give one to proceed. Every single time I have come to this cvs it is a bad experience. The first time I thought that maybe the person at the counter was having a bad day. But today upset me so much that it has lead me to writing this review. When I go in the woman advised me that if I absolutely needed my prescription for today or if I could hold off until tomorrow. No I need it today because I work tomorrow and won't have any time to pick it up. Then the woman proceeds with complete attitude saying "well it will be ready at 8:45 pm and we close at 9 pm". I said okay that doesn't change the fact that I need it today. Then I asked how much it would be for these prescriptions and the woman gave attitude once again saying "we wouldn't know until we get everything in our system." Your attitude is not needed!!! Staff here definitely needs to get better training. I will be speaking with management if my next encounter is as bad as these last two times. read more
