Where to start? I phoned after a surgery, and my call went to voicemail, so my husband drove to the pharmacy. Initially, it seemed a pharmacy employee would not dispense my pain prescription, which greatly distressed me. Eventually, after I texted my doctor, they released it as I waited in excruciating pain. Later, they dispensed half the number of tablets from a different prescription, on at least two different occasions. The lines are long, and voicemails can be returned days later. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy in hollister. They've hired a bunch of kids who can't navigate their system and are constantly giving misinformation to customers. This is not regarding insurance issues or problems contacting doctors for refills. This is an issue with hiring unqualified employees who are mismanaged by a frustrated pharmacist. I recommend rite aid or nob hill. Hardly any wait and when they tell you that your prescriptions are ready they will be ready. AVOID CVS IN TARGET! read more

Punk kids running the counters are more interested in chatting up the people working with them! Not to mention I waited 45 minutes for something they didn't bother checking was in stock until I came back for the item! Worst pharmacy in town and this is compared to Walgreens. read more

I've never had any problems here before but today was different. I've been having a couple of bad days and haven't been getting much sleep. Which has led me to zone out here and there. I try to be understanding towards others when they also have bad days. "Your feelings are valid, but your behavior is not." These are words I like to live by. Being aware of my words and actions toward others even if I have a bad day. I know and try to not take it out on others. I recommend one of their staff to hear those words. I had told the man behind the counter that I was unable to afford the medication for whom I was picking up for my mom. to which he said, "Next time could you tell me ahead of time just because it takes longer since I already scanned them through." To which I apologized for the inconvenience and agreed. There was a moment of silence to which I repeated myself "I just can't afford this medication right now." Then that was when he had asked someone for an override. He seemed annoyed which is understandable I guess. And this is where he started to get a little condescending with his words. "Try to pay attention next time." Is what he said. To which again I apologized "I'm sorry I forgot my glasses." Then he said something to which I wasn't able to hear. Since when was it okay to be condescending to people who are just trying to get medication? Maybe we both were having a bad day and for some reason today I was just unlucky enough to be the one on the receiving end? read more

I work full time and had an MD appt after work Friday afternoon because of needing a medication refill right away. The MD I normally see was unable to see me until mid Sept. This was the only appt I could get. They were aware of the urgency as I was out of medication and also was leaving town early the next morning. Myy Medication request was sent over before 6pm. CVS closes at 8Pm. I understands that they are busy and that this appt was later in the day but it was for a heart medication and very important. I received a text stating that the urgent medication refill had been received so went about 7:30pm to pick up. I was told that it was not ready and wouldn't be that day. I underestimated that they are very busy and this was a later appt Friday but explained the urgency and the type of medication it was. They told me basically 'to bad'. I then asked if they could please advance me just a couple pills to get me through until I return on Monday and they told me no. To bad. The pharmacist was very rude. I know that medication of this nature can be advanced a few pills in a situation like this because it is a heart medication and has been done once before ( different pharmacy). They just simply didn't care. I am in the medical field and even at a Drs office if it is a heart medication it has to be issued right away. I will no longer do business with CVS. I never mentioned before but will also now that one time they filled my heart med with the wrong medication. Good thing that I look at my pills before I take them but what about someone that doesn't. Very dangerous. So disappointed in the Hollister CVS pharmacy. read more

Their service has been awesome! We just transferred everything over and are very happy their customer care. They take time to answer their phone calls and answer our questions. I recommend this pharmacy to my friends, family and anyone else that needs pharmacy services! read more

No one is willing to take the extra steps to help you. You have to do it yourself. I asked if they can check a medication at another CVS or Target and they told me that I have better luck doing it myself. They didn't even try and offer the help. Good luck coming here. read more

The girl I spoke to on the phone in the pharmacy today (Sept 17, 2021 at 2:41) was mean and rude to me. She said they don't transfer prescriptions (from CVS to CVS - oooooook, I used to work at a CVS and was a pharm tech) and that if I wanted a refill I'd have to wait til it was refilled at my old location, get the notification, then call this location to tell them I want a refill. Who in the world has that kind of time?? read more

I'm going on week two of my prescription being out and "on back order" and if I go in at 5pm which was several hours after the CVS Pharmacy employee as they suggested they don't have it at all (was it even ordered as was 'confirmed' by the same CVS Rx worker)I'm told to come in the next day at 430 but "call first". For almost two weeks each time I call, I get an irritated person (not the same rep twice so far) telling me to call a d check "tomorrow at 5". Okay. So every day? For how long, because I'm really feeling this effect on my body not having the medication I desperately need. I was already hospitalized once before over the issue. Now I have to go back to my doctor if I can get in SOON and ask to have the Rx sent to anywhere other than CVS Thanks a lot Target CVS pharmacy. You suck so much! Thanks for being rude too. I'm stressed out enough already. This made me feel like such crap on top of now I'm two weeks out of my medicine. read more

Been waiting for a prescription for a week. Call's have been made then put on hold for over 30 minutes without being helped. When finally getting through the employee says not sure what's wrong but I guess we could call the doctors office to get the proper authorization. Not very happy should've use the other pharmacy in town. read more
