I initially asked to extend the rental, but just three days later informed your team that I no longer needed the bed and asked whether the rental could be prorated or if an extension fee could be applied instead. That request was refused with zero compassion or flexibility. There really isn't much more to add. Repeating apologies while continuing to hide behind policy does not address the underlying issue. The company chose to keep the full $250 rather than make a reasonable accommodation in a medical situation where circumstances changed quickly. Customers can decide for themselves whether that is the level of flexibility and empathy they want from a medical equipment provider.
