Avoid this store at all costs. The service is horrendous and rude. I guess it's a good thing that Rite Aid went out of business because this place chases customers away. The antisocial staff is over reliant on the kiosks and refuse to process your order correctly. I will never set foot in this store ever again. Please, PLEASE PLEASE! If you purchase online and pick up in this store an hour later, you will actually pay LESS than if you walked into the store, picked the items yourself and took them to the register. If you ask the store personnel, they can't explain it. If you call customer service, you'll be passed between four different people, none of whom can actually explain it or fix it. Buyer beware. The pharmacy probably has the worst customer service in the area. You telephone only to be on hold for 15 minutes then hung up on! In store, they are rude, lines are long and wait is insane. Time to change! read more

A man goes into a drugstore and asks the pharmacist if he can give him something for the hiccups. The pharmacist promptly reaches out and slaps the man's face. "What did you do that for?" the man asks. "Well, you don't have the hiccups anymore, do you?" The man says, "No, but my wife out in the car still does!" CVS is the largest pharmacy chain in the country and I'm fairly sure this would not happen here at this well run location. CVSs come is several configurations. Some have a drive-thru window. This one DOES NOT. That is a non-issue for me but others may find it convenient. Some properties are 24/7 but this one IS NOT. I've occasionally found that mildly annoying. Other than these two issues, it's a fine place to do business. Their affinity card is called ExtraCare and I've often taken advantage of some great deals. They have a decent app for your smartphone. They are also one of the slowly increasing number of stores that accepts Google Wallet. If your phone supports it, it's very cool. The store is generally neat and clean and well stocked. We have occasionally filled prescriptions here and they've done just fine. The lovely wife and I have visited dozens of times and will continue to do so. If I ever ask the pharmacist about hiccups, I'm going to stand far back from the counter! read more

CVS is generally a good store, however this location is poorly run and understaffed. Pharmacy hours start at 8:00 AM. Went in today at 8:40 to pick up a prescription and pharmacy area was closed. I asked the front cashier and she said they are waiting for a pharmacist to show up. She did not know what time it would open. I couldn't even pick up my prescription that was ready. This is not the first time that they have had staffing issues. My recommendation is to go to another CVS location. read more

About once a year I shop at this CVS if only because it is the most exasperating drug store to shop at. The aisles are narrow and the shelves are higher than usual - probably to compensate for the limited square footage at this location. This results in a claustrophobic sensation while strolling the aisles. Also, items that are unrelated are often found adjacent to each other - such as the selection of magic markers located next to the anti-fungal foot cream. There is invariably a line at the register and then when you finally think you're home free in your car, you have to hope that you don't end up in a rear-end collision. Trying to make a left into Eagle road? Not bloody likely during rush hour! If you must get to a CVS, the location on Westchester Pike is far superior on every metric. read more

This cvs is so nice! They always have my prescriptions ready on time and when I need help they don't hesitate to get up and physically give me the product I need. Once they didn't have a specific medication that I needed and they called the nearest cvs stores to see if they had it, even though they could have easily said they didn't have the product and let me leave. I only stopped by this pharmacy because it's close to my aunt's job. Guess I should have read the reviews before I dropped a prescription off. Walked up to the pharmacy was ignored and left standing there. Carolyn, the lead pharmacy tech, was on the phone with some kind of tech support and saw me standing there twice. Instead of saying "sorry for the wait" or "I'll be right with you", she just puts her hand out and looks at me while on the phone. She didn't say hello or even put the person she was talking to on hold. She eventually hung up the phone while typing the information on the prescription into the computer... still no greeting or anything. She hands me the prescription saying, "fifteen minutes". I tell her that it's going to pick it up later, and ask if she needs the insurance information. She proceeds to say "no, I don't need it... It's already in the system." That's very interesting because my cousin, who I was filling the prescription, has never ever been to a CVS pharmacy. Overall- bad experience... drive to the cvs in Broomall, it's only 5 minutes away. read more

Just had an unpleasant experience at the Eagle Rd CVS- bought a mascara that had a bent wand and tried unsuccessfully to use it for a few days then decided to return it. I don't get paper receipts and I couldn't find it on my email so the clerk, Paula, gave me credit for the current price and clearly was not happy with me. As we finished the transaction she commented that the mascara "looked used". I had an unpleasant feeling about our entire interaction and felt like she was accusing me of using the product. I'll use the West Chester Pike CVS for now! read more

Very unorganized pharmacy. Do not waste your time. They ask for my information every time I have had a prescription sent to them. Even though this is the closest pharmacy to my house, it is worth driving to a different pharmacy who cares about customer satisfaction. read more

If you need a prescription filled, do not do it here. Unless you are getting something very common, they don't stock it. They tell you they will order it, but then they forget. They promise it for one day then tell you that it was not ordered. They seem to think that it is not a problem to drive there day after day to try to get a prescription filled. I have never been to a CVS, for prescriptions, and enjoyed the experience, but this CVS is special; the incompetence of the cashiers, pharm-techs and the pharmacists is unmatched. I worked in, an exceptional, pharmacy for over a decade and as a result have high standards for speed, accuracy and precision. The employees, pharmacists included, seem to be incapable of performing even the simplest math if it involves unit conversion. It seems as though every time I go there my Rx is not ready, despite an automated text to the contrary, and won't be for at least an hour because "the system is down". I have enough experience with this that I have postulated that the cashier can not remember the spelling of some family member's names, rather than admit to this I am told to return later. I could go on with many examples but suffice it to say if CVS were not so prevalent and accessible 24hrs I would never have endured this customer valued service for so long. read more
