Been my favorite deli to go to pick items for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Has excellent cooked food…read more& deli cut meat selections. They have a tap on screen just Wawa food stores do to choose what you want to order. Hot or cold. Even W. I. C. food slices too, just tap on the Dietz & Watson menu option! You buy cereals 3 for $10! Lots of baby food & drinks! Tons & tons of drinks! Aloe drinks! 50 cent drink besides Arizona drinks in cans & bottles; economy size bottles & extra large economy size bottles! Get you Trappin' Zombie merch here! T-shirts, tanks for the summer & hoodies for the winter! Get Corona Virus pandemic cloth masks! Cigarettes & blunts! Rolls & paper & yes they sell (Newport) loseys! Shampoo, soaps & underarm deodorant here! Dice & bicycle cards! Tape, rubber bands, cold & flu medicines in liquid & capsule form. Also aspirin & Ibuprofen too in single packs! Coffee is great! (Tip: Help defeat COVID-19 symptoms) you get a fresh cup & also buy instant coffee & creamers & sugar / sweetners right here! YES! THERE IS A ATM HERE! COME HERE IF WAWA ATMS ARE DOWN! They have 3 prize games there you can play with too! Get your Zombie slime here! They sell Doorags for men & women! Eye lashes! Kids hair pieces, all sorts! They have large selection of ice creams & big bags of ice pops for a dollar! Don't go to the crowded super market down the street / the beer distributor across the street can get crowded when street is always busy get it from Steven or one of the J B Brothers employees will gladly assist if needed. It's tiny but there's hardly any line cause they move fast behind the counter. You can call ahead for food order, but they move quick for one worker on the grill / food prep station. Very clean! A/C is top notch! Everyone wears gloves & masks. They have a sign of no entrance allowed if not wearing a masks. Some of their money goes to help people that are homeless & live in shelters. You can get all Trappin' Zombie merch here, but can not purchase the music here. Must go on line. They are on instagram & twitter. Meek Mill loves their music! Ask Steven for all assortment of sizes & yes they even have baby sizes too! Script can be in different color depending on which color t-shirt / hoodie you want to purchase. The t-shirts cost $15 & the hoodies cost $30, but can't remember the tank cost. Btw idk if they make the pants anymore, but if you ask for Steven when you call the number when he's in will gladly help you with the item you desire. Very quiet! Very safe neighborhood. No trouble at all. Live not too far away for 8 years with no problems at all in my hometown of Upper Darby. This deli is not too far from a day care, church & Stonehurst Elementary school & the AA Field near 69th street plaza. Exactly one block from 69th street & Marshall crossroads. True Value is not too far. Also a auto tag place that open since a year ago is on the same block.

My assessment would be that it's…read morenot the best place to buy processed items because they tend to be niche organic labels that are expensive, but the produce, dry goods, etc., that I mentioned are actually priced really well. During the height of the #TrumpTakeEgg crisis, I found eggs here that were a really reasonable price. They've also got really good bread. A lot of big boxes stores don't have any decent bread. There's a couple other reasons I shop here: As a non-driver, I actually find the coop is a great price option for me. It's true that if I had a car and wanted to drive way out of town to a big box store I could find things cheaper, but for me it's never made sense to invest all that money in car upkeep, parking, gas, insurance, etc. The coop is important to me because I really believe in the idea of being able to live without a car, and in that way they're doing way better than a lot of bodegas are capable of. Also, if you're complaining about prices, go look at how much your taxes subsidize those big boxes! That's an institutional problem! I also like that the coop is unionized. It's not perfect, but I started shopping here after Trader Joe's joined Whole Foods and Starbucks in trying to get the NLRB declared unconstitutional. It makes me feel happy knowing I'm not putting my money to that. And I also feel like over time, you get to know the workers, and they know you and are friendlier, and in a much deeper and more sincere way than at other stores. It is true that there can be grumpiness too. I much prefer the real conversations I have with workers who actually recognize me than the weird, forced banter I used to experience at Trader Joe's, that felt like something the worker was probably doing because a manager was looking over their shoulder.

I really want to support this business but they do everything in the power to make it difficult…read more On most days you'll have to dodge aggressive pan handlers to enter or exit the store and despite numerous complaints the management refuses to do anything about it. When you finally make it into the store you'll find very few, if any, local products and the produce is consistently substandard. You're better off getting your groceries from the Pandemic Pantry and if you need last minute ingredients for a meal its best to walk the extra few blocks to Fu-Wah.
