The cashier I can't remember her name she was also very helpful and got me signed up for the CVS extra care. I just want to say that I am very pleased with the service I received. This is a single store that is indicative of what will be the eventual demise of the company, doing nothing to raise the image Walmart has sunk to. Best Buy is across the street, target and Kohl's are within half a mile. All three provide a better shopping experience at essentially the same or better prices, particularly with the rollout of Walmart's dynamic pricing models. It has to be said, a company that for decades has blathered on about American values but doesn't even give the pretense of stocking American made goods over Chinese junk is a company that has sold its soul. Add to that the gross negligence of retaining a workforce almost wholly dependent on federal subsidies and welfare for subsistence, and it's easy to see that this company will never manage to survive. I'll smile when this store's Spirit Halloween moment comes. Hopefully sooner than later.

Both employees of a failed existence was loud and rude screaming that they came like that trying to forced me into lying to cover their lack of professionalism and not knowing how to do their work. I told the young female that these are transitions after the fact but they should realized. The glasses are not wearable and damaged they royally messed up continuously like their existence.

Photo gift tags on premium paper can no longer be picked up in store. We have to pay to have them shipped! Plus the quality isn't as good. (The card stock is cheaper and the color isn't as vivid.) I called Walgreens corporate and asked for someone to get back to me.....that was about two weeks ago. Like everything else nowadays, change isn't always a good thing and Customer service isn't what it used to be. Very very disappointing

LOVELY Monday Jan. 12, 2026: fill in…read morepharmacist -I have used Highland Square Akron Pharmacy for 20 years never had a problem NEVER this week (a temporary pharmacist on duty) the way I was treated was horrendous, I actually cried when I got off of the phone, I have never had anything like this happen before, the disrespect, I was a wreck the entire day. There was 1 staff member that was not a regular also and both women were just awful to me. My doctor was forced to call the pharmacist 2 times to get my prescription set and admittedly my doctor was upset because she knows me and I was upset. how it ended? the TEMPORARY Pharmacist told my husband who went to pick it up that she "didn't like the way my doctor talked to her", so she refused to fill my prescription. AND I NEEDED IT. I found a local pharmacy open til' 8:00pm, my doctor made a 3rd phone call for me to the new pharmacy and thankfully I got my medication there at 7:55pm. AGAIN - my doctor referred to the pharmacist as 'a floater' not knowing I already knew she was not a usual staff member, but regardless, my dr. was rude to her so I had to go w/o my medication? My calm, cool, collected, extremely kind husband called me from the parking lot after the final attempt and he told me he raised his voice and yelled at the pharmacist, told her she was unprofessional and causing his wife undue stress, among other things. I was beyond stressed because he never raises his voice, he is the most calm person I know - and he hit his limit with this TEMPORARY pharmacist. In the wee hours I got the app for the pharmacy I ended up getting the meds from and I electronically transferred all of my prescriptions to that place, I can't fathom having to go through anything even close to what I went through yesterday. We are going to be writing up a formal complaint and making phone calls but I need to calm down first, but this review I can do, so there it is.

If I didn't know better I think she was high or something. She works in the pharmacy yet has no idea about anything. Common cold medicines. I said I wanted Mucinex with decongestant and pseudoephedrine. She's like we don't have that we only have pseudoephedrine. The pharmacist who looks overworked and burned out, I was able to yell to her. You don't have congestion and pseudoephedrine together back there? She said you mean Mucinex D yes I said. Of course they have it. Pearl had no idea what she was looking for what she was giving me nothing. I got the Mucinex. I wanted the 600 mg and 60 mg but I was never asked what I wanted they just hand it to you and act like that's all they have. The Customer Service is basically you're an irritation. They were nice enough and when I finally got ahold of my Dr's office and they got the fax they were pretty wquick to fill it so I could get back on the road. Was clean and bright, the staff in both the pharmacy and front registers was friendly and accomidating. Not sure when I would get back to Ohio to come again, but it was nice to know it was there when I needed. Located a quick few blocks from the highway made it very convenient.

After 2019, this pharmacy became a complete nightmare to deal with. Where do I start? From the "meal breaks" where no person is available in the pharmacy from a certain time to a certain time at least an hour which varies depending on who is there and how they are feeling that day. To days where you go to the drive thru pharmacy and it is randomly closed because of staffing issues. Some of these issues I could understand in late 2019 all the way until 2021. After 2021 up to present day, this place has used that "Covid" excuse as a means to continue a pattern of utter laziness and nonchalant way of conducting business. If a business is understaffed.....hire more people. If people are underqualified....train them. I paint for a living, I don't need a pharmicist to give me helpful hints on how to do my job, why do I have to give advice to pharmacists or managers of Walgreens? I do my job and I do it well, why can't they do their jobs and do them well? Other issues besides being randomly open at all different times and days would be: being out of stock of certain medications and not being able to get them for weeks (I am not exaggerating.....weeks!) I was a customer for many years, I explained that I was taking my prescriptions to Giant E. and they didn't seem to mind at all. Actually, I was convinced that employees and management want people to leave and take Rx elsewhere because it lightens their workload. I have not been happier since I took my Rx to a different pharmacy. I think upper management might want to look at this particular location. I am not certain about other locations but this one is absolutely horrendous.
