He mentioned a discount card program that could help me get a better price. He told me what website to go through and walked me step by step through the process. Got my medication discounted. It was extremely beneficial to me. The next day I went to pick it up. Very pleasant experience. I was greeted and assisted. Zach actually took me to a private area to assist me I all the info necessary in administering my medication. He took his time, answering all my questions and gave me a step by step presentation. I've never ever had this type of pharmacist go out of their way for me like that. It's been unbelievable. I left there feeling like the only customer Zach had. Exceptional service. Exceptional experience and I will tell everyone I know that pharmacies like those back in the day, do still exist. I transferred my prescriptions from the big box stores to Davies. So glad I did. Thank you so much Zach, you are so appreciated.

The staff at this store, and the variety of services and supplies available, are amazing. Been…read moregoing there for years even though I live in Akron. There's nothing like Davies here. Most recently, needed a pill splitter and knew they'd have a good one. Not only did the staffer select one based on the size and type of pill, he checked with the pharmacist because he thought the medication came in the smaller size (no need to split). It is. Might seem a small thing, but I'm disabled, so any extra steps to do things are hard. Also, the front counter clerk was dressed for Halloween and looked fabulous. So nice to come into the store sad about health problems, and encounter two people who are so dedicated, helpful, and authentic. Thanks, Davies staff, for coming through for me (and I assume for others too) again.

I understand why the knee braces are located near the pharmacy. It makes sense in terms of stocking and organization. However, when one has to literally hobble on an injured knee, dragging one's leg behind them in utter pain, to the far side of the store in order to look at the knee braces, it simply means that it is not a customer-friendly location to put these items. I'm sure knee braces are not as profitable as the cosmetics located in the front, nor do they sell as quickly as the holiday items also located near the front of the store. But it sure would be nice to have the knee braces in a location where it didn't feel like an insurmountable obstacle to overcome to purchase one.

They have it noted on my record, and there is a black label on receipts, however, REPEATEDLY, I get home and I cannot open the drug bottle! When I asked about this continued failure, the pharmacist just says, "It was a mistake." I am concerned that If they can't follow a simple directive, they will give me the wrong medication! Today, again, I drove all the way back to the pharmacy to get an EASY-OFF CAP !!! The tech who waited on me kept running his hands thru his somewhat DIRTY LONG HAIR, and not sanitizing his hands before waiting on me. I wanted to say, "I'd take the cap off myself, but I am unable to do this!! Very dirty habit when handling people's drugs! What is wrong with the North Canton #46 Pharmacy??!!

The situation escalated quickly when he accused me of trying to obtain a prescription I wasn't…read moreentitled to, despite the fact that my primary doctor's office had originally confirmed what was needed. The pharmacist ignored the facts, became aggressive in tone, and started to manipulate the situation, making me feel like I was in the wrong. To make matters worse, he attempted to downplay the situation by offering me a discount of $25, which seemed like a mere attempt to brush things under the rug. I suspect they initially charged my insurance company a significantly higher amount, likely $500 or more, and the pharmacist seemed more concerned about deflecting the issue than addressing it fairly. His unprofessional behavior, lack of empathy, and failure to communicate properly with me made me lose all trust in this pharmacy. This experience was not only disrespectful but also raised serious concerns about the lack of understanding of basic procedures, including HIPAA regulations. I strongly feel that this pharmacist's actions were inappropriate and unprofessional, and I would recommend avoiding Giant Eagle Pharmacy in the future. The treatment I received was unacceptable, and I will never trust them with my healthcare needs again. Giant eagle at the strip Canton Ohio a very manipulating nasty loud queen do not rely on this place it's very unregulated by the giant eagle reputation and totally crossed the line unbelievably ignorant pharmacist that obviously overtalk me and try to think my name problem was my prescription no it was my hip alone right wait I believe he knows he's a part of that violation that's why he's so loudly I'm sure anybody that was there working with them if not the customer outside of the pharmacy would have heard it how ignorant is that beware never go there again trust me on this this recent pharmacist is a narcissist He needs to be fired don't trust this place because of him I'm not going to buy my groceries here anymore and or trust himgiant eagle and who they pick to be there pharmacist company subcontractor and if not subcontractor then they would be even worse as the actual owner beware beware very manipulated twisting what I call a nasty queen manipulating and trying to cover up for government state which totally but my health in jeopardy which could end up being a huge lawsuit help ignorant could a company like giant eagle higher somebody or we lie on a pharmacy subcontractor hiring somebody like this recent pharmacist as of February 22-20-25 Just ask his coworkers on 02/21/2025 How loud he was trying to over talk me thinking that I'm going to be confused I know exactly what was going on and I'm sure they realize it and besides that in the court of law what he's so mistakenly stated the first person I deal with denied it but 30 seconds prior to my issue he said he don't know who or what they said but then he said oh I talked to him he denies it no he denies it a game player a twisted pathetic medical person that's so crossed the line and needs to pay up and answer and admit to their pathetic ethical business practice*

I had a very upsetting experience at the Marc's Pharmacy on Cleveland Avenue on September 28, 2025…read more The Marc's app clearly showed that my prescription was filled and ready for pickup. I also confirmed by phone the week prior that it would be ready. When I arrived, the technician, Stephanie, was kind, professional, and respectful. She looked at the app on my phone with me, acknowledged the issue, and genuinely tried to help. Unfortunately, when the supervising pharmacist became involved, the situation escalated. He refused to look at the information I was showing him, repeatedly talked over me, and even threw my phone back at me. He then threatened to call 911 if I didn't leave, instead of explaining or resolving why the system showed my prescription as ready but they could not locate it. For comparison, I was able to pick up another prescription during the same visit with no issue--both had been sent in by my doctor at the same time. While I appreciate Stephanie's professionalism, the pharmacist's behavior was unacceptable, unprofessional, and hostile. No patient calmly seeking clarification about their medication should be threatened with police involvement. This was a humiliating and distressing experience, and I will be escalating the matter to Marc's corporate and the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.

The staff there some of the rudest most inconsiderate people I've ever came into contact with. Not only do they have poor customer service, their people skills are absolutely terrible! Jolene always helps the best she can (over the phone or in person). She always has a smile on her face and even goes as far as to make small talk. What a wonderful lady. I think the rest of their team should take notes from her. Do they understand that without customers they wouldn't have a job? Wow!
