When I arrived, I was greeted warmly right away. The first staff member who assisted me needed a bit of guidance from a coworker, but they worked together seamlessly with a positive attitude to get me checked in for my immunization appointment. The more experienced technician was extremely courteous and patient, taking the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. The gentleman who administered my immunization was also very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient as he addressed my concerns. Overall, all three pharmacy technicians provided excellent customer service and made the experience very pleasant. Note to the engineers for the CVS app. There's a lot of good things about the design of the app. The schedule for my appointment was very frustrating. I only live 5.5 miles or 9 minutes from the CVS on happy Valley the app would only give me location further away. My assumption is that the app is using zip centroid which the postal code is much further away. I tried to find the nearest pharmacy. I believe one of the immunizations wasn't available at the pharmacy, which presented negative experience, but the messaging did not indicate that to me. I kept trying everything and CVS pharmacies were much further away. I eventually got it to work by putting the CVS ZIP Code in instead, which narrowed it down. read more

I should have read the reviews before bringing my prescription here. They are impossible to work with. They don't listen. I had a manufactures coupon for a prescription and I spoke to the manufacture and asked them how to do the coupon because the pharmacist was having a hard time getting it down to zero dollars which is exactly what the coupon is for and the manufacturer told me that the pharmacy just needs to call them and they will walk them through the process to make it zero dollars and every time I stopped in there which was four times. Nobody would listen to me and what I was telling them they were only gonna do it their way and no other way and they will not listen to their customers. This is a brand new CVS and I have been in many times and have never had a bad experience. The manager has greeted me many times and you can tell his team is very aware of their customers. I am always greeted when I come in the store and there is always smiles on their faces. The store is super clean, organized and sales are clearly tagged. The store looks great every time I go in and they always have what I am looking for. PArking lot is huge, I have never seen it full, don't worry about not finding a parking spot. If you value your life, avoid this pharmacy. I'm not sure where the pharmacist trained, or where she's from, but she doesn't care about people or their medical needs. If you have a problem, don't expect her to help you find a resolution, unless you're of the right color. She will try to gaslight before admitting her mistake and helping customers. She even lied and said her location doesn't offer delivery, but yet I had my prescriptions delivered today. I went to this location four times to get an important prescription for a new diagnosis. I wasn't about to waste my time with this hateful person again. I'm stuck because my place of employment does business with CVS. I have had nothing but terrible issues with Arizona locations, and had a very different experience in Texas. My CVS pharmacist knew me there, and he called me if there was a problem. He also made sure I had the info I needed if there was ever an issue filling a prescription. The CVS pharmacists in Arizona are the opposite. They can care less about clients or their needs. I went to this cvs to buy an alcoholic beverage. I was told to TAKE OFF MY MASK and SMILE like my picture on my I.D. (Embarrassing much?!?) To make matters worse... the cashier who was a Caucasian female in her mid 40's had her hand near my bag on the table throughout my whole transaction. What was I going to do steal it? No thank you. Wow! I thought it was just my experience but seeing others highlight the Pharmacy I want to add my experience because it was the worst I've experienced.... Ever!!! I feel bad because I really feel like the girl that provided such a horrible experience has larger issues, but the specific experience she provided me was: did not speak clearly or at an understandable level, was reluctant to take the paper RX i had and said she'd just wait to see if it ever comes from my dr, said they had the medicine in stock but could take a few hour or maybe until tomorrow now ETA. Considering the medicine and RX we needed I would think there would be some ETA so we could take it somewhere else. This is the fourth time I have attempted to pick up a prescription in the drive-thru and have waited over 30 minutes only to end up leaving without it. Today one car sat at the window the entire 30 minutes without moving which is ridiculous. The pharmacy has lied to me and given me the run around now 3 separate times so I'm changing pharmacies. I don't know if it's because it's a relatively new pharmacy or because it's smaller, but 3 separate times, my dr sends in the scripts, I call cvs and ask when they can be filled and they say that day. Inevitably, it's always the next day or 2 days later. This last time they received the script on Friday, they said it would be ready Friday, an hour later they text me, I called and they said it would be ready w/in 24 but might take 48 hours. I call back 24 hours later, and I'm told they are out of stock, and the person (there's only one???) that places the orders won't be in til Monday so my script won't be ready til Tuesday or Wednesday. So script on received on Friday and meds not until Wednesday?! Time for a better pharmacy. read more

I do like this pharmacy but doing Covid tests makes picking up a RX a major pain in the ass. If you don't want to in because of Covid exposure you have to wait 30 minutes or more to pick up a $3 Rx. They need to figure something else out. Major inconvenience. read more

The staff up front are super friendly and nice. The pharmacy is THE WORST THOUGH. I took my whole lunch break to go pick up my prescription after being called multiple times saying it was ready, to show up just to be told to come back later. I proceeded to come back tonight for the girl to be rude, not help me at all, and tell me they don't even have my medicine in stock and to come back after coming for the last three days. When i explained my situation she said "i apologize" that's it... didn't even try to help me with other options. They are completely unorganized, unprofessional, and really know how to make a customer mad! They keep giving me the run around it's like a wild goose chase to get some damn medicine before a surgery i'm about to have. read more

Covid testing. Booking says to arrive ten minutes early. So we did. First person at the Pharmacy drive in (woman): "You need to pick up?" "No, we are here for testing." "Tester is not ready. You gotta wait a few minutes." (Bored attitude, smirk expression, as if we were bothering her.) Second person seven minutes later: "You need to pick up?" "No, we are here for testing." "Oh yea." (This one might have actually alerted the tester. The previous one seemed too unconcerned, so bothered to have been forced to even acknowledge our existence. No one has said hello to us yet. No one will. No one has said "sorry fort the wait". No one will.) Third person, a young man who sounds like a smart ass: "You need to pick up, eh?" "No we are here for testing; appointment was thirteen minutes ago and we've been waiting for over twenty twenty." "Oh, yeah?" "An apology would be nice." "Yeah, yeah." "Are you okay today?" I ask, hoping to get an "and how are you" type of reply. Instead: "What's that?" "Are you well today?" "Oh yea." "Good." I end the performance of politeness right there and ask forgiveness in my mind for not holding my tongue when I should have caught the chance to remain silent. Our perception is that no one at this Pharmacy is interested in helping. The tester who had help us was the rudest, but the two other people we interacted with were also quite rude. I expect the test not to be ready on time. I expect the test to be thrown out and inusrance billed anyway. I will complain to my insurance as well. When did we give a pass to CVS Pharmacy to be unprofessional, rude, and uncaring? Take your business to another pharmacy, please. Get CVS out of the pharmacy business. I will have to write five good reviews in the near future to make sure we reward professional behavior. Update a day later: one of us got their test results, the other did not. It is hard to shake the feeling that the unprofessional behavior of this particular CVS includes deliberate obstruction, but that can't be true. And yet, we took the test at the same time. We put the baggies in the drop box at the same time. One of us has the results, the other does not. You draw your own conclusions. read more

Great store (clean, adequate selection, etc.) but horrendous pharmacy. The woman who usually handles Rx's is on a power trip. My GP had me change sleeping medication on a Friday before a long trip. My insurance covered the medication but she said she "wasn't comfortable" filling my doctor's script. I asked if she would speak to my doctor in the attempt to alleviate her "discomfort" but she refused. Claimed it was just as much her decision as it was my doctor's. I have plenty of respect for people in her profession but this simply can't be right. Her job is to fill the scripts - period. She doesn't have access to my medical history, labs, etc. Moreover she wasn't educated or trained to write Rx's - in any way. What's next? I recently transferred my drugs to CVS because I have Aetna and I found that my drugs would be much cheaper at CVS. I asked the Pharmacist about what I had heard on TV about a policy that even if I received a months worth of opioids from my PAIN doctor they would only give me a WEEKS WORTH OF PAIN MEDICINE. I was told that this is A STATE POLICY. i know for a fact that is not the case. Why do I get my full months pain meds at WalMart? I am a chronic pain patient monitored by a Board Certified Pain Physician for several years. I am urine monitored by my physician to see that I am taking my drugs at the PRESCRIBED DOSAGE LEVEL. IT is not CVS business to decide to give me a weeks worth of my meds (when my MD writes for a MONTH) and IT IS NOT A STATE REGULATION. As a nurse I asked the Pharmacist if HE KNEW HOW to spot drug abusers?. I told him that I have NEVER ONCE lost a prescription or gone to doctor shopping for my meds. Looking for these indicators would be a MORE APPROPRIATE WAY of looking for drug abusers. I think this policy is totally inappropriate to override the doctors prescription and I will not be getting my pain medications there. Holding your drugs is a monetary gain for the pharmacy. It is a hardship for people who have long term chronic pain issues. read more
