One hand doesn't know what the other is doing. You think a store as large as CVS would be able to handle stocking commonly used medicine. But not the case. Plus, I had a medicine sent there for filling. They never texted me to say it was ready as I am set up for this. When I came into the store for the third time and asked for my prescription, they said they canceled it since I didn't come in to pick it up it. The other 2 times I came in to pick it up, they told me it was on order. I would change Pharmacies in a second. However, it the only one in Gainesville that takes my insurance. The store itself is a good place to shop for what they offer and coupons are very helpful, but they just can't be that much on the verge of having no money to replace the toilet seat in the women's bathroom it's just not sanitary please management or owners replace that toilet seat!!! read more

Worst pharmacy EVER!!! Cannot even imagine one being more incompetent. It takes 5 days to get a prescription filled. And when they get around to doing it they may find they don't even have the medication. I get consistent refills on meds I am not using anymore, regardless of how many times I tell them to take them off. When I call to see WTH is going on, I wait 45 minutes multiple times on hold and then finally give up and call another CVS pharmacy to check the status. Terrible experience here with the pharmacist Shelby Downs. We arrived 10 mins late for a covid vaccine, and she sent us away stating they were closed and she was not going to open another vidal (package of shots I'm guessing). The pharmacy hours close at 6pm Sunday. We arrived at 540pm.. appointment time at 530pm. We drove an hour to this location from Little Elm TX, due because it's difficult finding an appointment. My wife explained the situation why we were late, but Shelby Downs show no remorse and was not understanding or willing to bend. She talked down to my wife and even questioned her intelligence by giving her a non working number of her manager (when my wife asked for her superior). My wife felt she was being discriminated against because she a Mexican American. Shelby only gave my wife her first name, and stated to my wife her last name started with a "D" and wouldn't provide. Pharmacist information is public information and Shelby of all people should know. I have filed a complaint with the board in hopes she is held accountable. There has to be some accountability, knowing a vaccine shot not given can lead to possible infection and/or death. Shelby Downs didn't make a right decision and didn't put her patients first. I hope we are able to find another appointment for my wife, and pray she does not get exposed. read more

I just sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes to pick up a prescription. I was second in line. The car at the window was having an insurance issue. The tech should asked that person to either come inside or to park while the issue was being resolved. One of the worse pharmacies in Gainesville. ‼‼ They do not care about customers or their health. I do not recommend CVS period. Doctor calls in meds that patient needs that DAY and they are out of it! CVS cannot get it for three days! This is Friday afternoon, doctor cannot be contacted to send prescription to another pharmacy until Monday. 1) They don't tell doctor when they call in prescription that they cannot fill medication that day, so dr can call another pharmacy. And they cannot transfer prescription. 2) They don't tell patient that they are out and they cannot get it for three days! With technology - this is inexcusable. Has to be the most disfunctional CVS ever. Stated they didn't have a prescription for us until I told them I stood there while the nurse called it in...then they miraculously found it and told me it would be an additional 20 minutes past the 45 minutes from when it was called in. Lydia lets you know that she is doing you a favor by just working there and compassion and politeness arent part of that job. I do a lot of couponing and recently started doing all of it at CVS. All of the employees and managers here are absolutely amazing. They know what coupons are out and what's on sale at all times. If something is out of stock they will try to find a comparable item or offer a rain check for the sale. The employees always make sure you are taken care of and are extremely kind. Extremely slow service. The employees were frustrated that the phone kept ringing and customers were on hold for the Pharmacy. They had our prescription but the doctor needed a preauthorization so I asked the pharmacist to return the prescription so we filled so we could get the paperwork from the doctor. When we went back up there they said they never had any prescriptions for us! We will never go back! read more
