CVS deprives workers of meal and bathroom breaks, and sick leave.

I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I was out and about with one of my Fresno cousins running errands for stuff my cousin wanted. We stopped at this CVS. My gosh, there was NOT enough staff. What little staff there was, was trying so hard to be professional but we could see they were stressed at the overwhelming demands upon them from so many customers. Many of those customers were openly irate. No one was managing the understaffed situation. There was not a manager in sight, or someone acting as a manager. Store was dirty. This business should reduce its hours open to when it has adequate staffing and is clean. Instead, the poor staff is stretched so thin everyone's stressed. The staff is stressed. The customers are stressed. After initially patiently waiting in line to pay, we put our items down and left without them. For I finally realized I was contributing to employees' mistreatment by shopping at stores so clearly under-staffed, and to executive's bloated compensation directly resulting from that under-staffing. I won't make that mistake again. I blame the CVS executives. https://prospect.org/labor/pharmacists-stage-walkout-in-early-unionization-effort/ Greed is defined as a deadly sin for a good reason. Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 1 Peter 5:2-3 CVS CEO Larry Merlo was named as 8th highest paid CEO in the US by CNN Money in 2014. At that time, his total compensation was a whopping $22.9 million of avarice. When compared to the salary of an average CVS employee, earning $28,700 that year, this CVS CEO was paid MORE than 422 times as much. There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest. CVS' Merlo was the top paid health CEO in 2019. CVS' multi-millionaire Merlo, along with entire CVS greedy executives has fallen under harsh criticism for way they brutally run their operations. An absence of justice disintegrates a business, community, a state, a nation. No matter how paranoid you are, you're not paranoid enough. Some accusations are criminal treatment of employees; most are about inhumane treatment of employees. http://www.pharmaciststeve.com/cvs-pharmacist-dies-on-the-job-from-cardiac-mi-forced-to-wait-for-relief-pharmacist-to-show-up/ CVS KNOWINGLY UNDER-STAFFS, placing an unreasonable and dangerous burden on front-line workers. CVS has not let staff take legally required breaks or leave when sick. We are all implicated when we allow other people to be mistreated. The world's richest people emit most carbon. CEO compensation has grown staggeringly greedy 940% since 1978. Typical worker compensation rose only 12% since 1978 --which hasn't kept up with inflation, which is 320.72% since 1978 up to 2020 when it escalated in 2021 to the highest in four decades. Worker's real compensation went down while corporate executive' compensation continued to rapidly escalate. Dollar had an average inflation rate of 3.40% per year between 1978 and 2020, producing a cumulative price increase of 320.72% since 1978. This data means that prices up to 2020 are 4.21 times higher than average prices since 1978, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics consumer price index. The hyper-inflation struck in 2021, and the wealth inequality just got even way worse. Wealth inequality is far too prevalent. It is far more severe than income inequality, and it has worsened the past 50 years. In 1963, high-wealth families -- those whose wealth ranked at the 90th percentile -- had $6 for every $1 in wealth owned by the typical middle-class family. By 2016, they had doubled that to $12. For me, wealth means freedom, security and the opportunity to help others. It means having the financial freedom to do the things you enjoy and which make you feel truly alive. Wealth is having options, resources, good health, contentment, personal growth, education, family, children, personal time, and being surrounded by people who inspire you and value you; people that you trust and like and who who trust and like you. It's about cool new experiences and traveling to stay in touch with family and friends. It's about many things that money cannot buy. It's about having your dignity recognized and accepted. It's about being respected and valued and appreciated. It's about having money to pay for an emergency, to help your child with a down payment on a home.

Covid-19 phase! Great store! Clean! I went here to get cereals. They had a big selection of to go ones. Pretty great! Bought many! Of course when you go to stores like this you can't only get what you plan on. Ran across M&Ms dark chocolate! How could you not like that! Easy check out. The worker had a mask on and was nice! They have tons of different stuff! From meals to drinks, candy, cosmetics, all different medicines, etc. Good service and store! Recommended!

I like CVS, I think they have some great products and have a decent pharmacy. I don't like this CVS. Pretty simple, you take care of the customers and be nice, pretty simple. Came on to grab a couple of Gatorades ( it was 105 outside) and a snack before hitting the road again. Walked in, found what I was looking for and began walking to counter. I see a gentlemen, later identified as ERICK # 1751584, sitting on the floor organizing a couple of shelves. I looked at him, look up at the counter, he asked is anyone up there? I said yes one person, he turned back to the shelves and ignored me. I walked up behind now 3 customers plus me. Erick looked over at us, sitting and continued to organize the shelf, I thought maybe he is not the clerk and now he will call for one. Nope, it was him. I don't mind waiting a little bit, 5-10 minutes but come on dude, you see us. Finally, I asked Erick if there is any way the customers at the counter can get some help. He had the shittiest look on his face, slowly got up, he walked like he has no purpose in the store and gets to the counter. Then he proceeds to check us out, with an attitude. When I finally got up there, he mumbled something, I asked him to clarify and of course, oh I didn't say anything. Attitude, poor customer service and worst disrespectful..nope ain't coming back.

The patches they wouldn't exchange. I offered to buy the name brand, more expensive patches.

Honestly, I never shop with CVS, they aren't close to my house. Recently thought, I visited the Prather, Ca location on my way through, I bought one box of (CVS) patches for quitting smoking. I normally buy the Walmart brand, which work great. The CVS patches are like band aids. They do not stick to skin like normal and every other brand patches. I used one patch and it fell of in a few hours. Supposed to last 24 hours. (These are expensive!) So I took the box back to the cvs closest to my home. It was the next few days. I no longer had receipt. (I thought they would stick!!) I offered to exchange for the more expensive patches and pay out of pocket. The people that work in the Shaw and Fresno location not only made me wait forever, but also made me re-explain myself with two employees. It was embarrassing in front of other customers. Than told me, there was nothing they could do for me. If I no longer have receipt. So guess what.. I went and bought a pack of cigarettes. CVS. You do not care about us. I only used one patch, with a two week supply. You are rude , you patches don't stick and I will never revisit CVS because the way you treat us humans.

Perhaps I am being unfair because this is the second pharmacy I have visited tonight that was closed before their posted hours. I believe this is a 24/7 location but a handwritten sign on the door said open at 7:30am and the person at the door said they just don't have the staff tonight - but then I saw about 5-6 employees walk in together (and there were more employees already inside). I am a little disappointed I couldn't pick up bandaids for my bleeding hand. Oop, another employee just walked in as I was writing this review. Bummer.

I would give this CVS a ZERO start if I could. Waiting time for pharmacy is ridiculous. Will never go back to this pharmacy.

Recently, my PCP prescribed two antibiotics for infections, and she wanted me to start them ASAP. She sent the prescriptions to Manor Drugs. I called to give Manor a heads up. Long story short, the prescriptions were delivered within a couple of hours. I took the first doses within 4 hours from the time they were prescribed!!! Further, Linda at Manor was concerned about possible allergies to one of the antibiotics. When she first called me, I was not available. She persevered until she explained what I should look for with regard to a possible allergy and what I should do if I had a reaction. The people at Manor are caring and concerned about my welfare, and work hard to make sure my prescription needs are met. I give them a big thank you!!! You guys are awesome!!! I called and the person I talked to on the phone was really nice and asked if I was paying with my insurance I said yes if they took it and they said they did. When I arrived I was greeted. This place was nice and clean they sold medical mobility equipments such as wheelchair, commodes and I also saw some bath products used at nursing homes/hospitals. When I got to the counter and asked about the nebulizer apparently they took PPO BCBS but not from trinity health... I'm not sure why but no big deal I just paid out of pocket for it. The staff was friendly. If in need of any medical equipment I would definitely check this place out However, double check your insurance because medical equipment aren't cheap.
